Are we really shocked? These two were death flagging from the second we met them.
I don't think anyone is surprised, no. Not only had they raised more flags than the UN, even the freaking chapter cover treats Yuugo as if he was already dead. The question was more the "how" than the "if".

No chapter yet, but we got the volume 11 cover.◊ A bit of a weird one.
Chapter out:
So Yuugo actually considered suicide just before the kids showed up.
Anyway, what a great send-off to the man. He'll be missed.
Emotional and impactful. Solid chapter
I'm pretty sure I've read this kind of scene several times before, but eh, it works.
I had completely forgotten about that hideout. Probably the best option they had indeed… but wasn't it a day's walk away from the Shelter? At any rate, it's pretty sad to see Emma crack under pressure for real this time. They're really no longer safe anywhere now.
Seems like a good time to get some news of Norman.
Man that was brutal to know he was ducking suicidal.
Poor guy, at least he found happiness & salvation before the end.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."A low quality tl is out for chap 110… And of COURSE that bastard didn't die. It couldn't be that easy.
Kick his ass, Emma.
Well, so now they have a goal at least.
No actual footage yet, but my god that scream at the end was chilling…
Idiot lids. They better die for wasting developed characters sacrifices.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Well… The authors heard your wish it seems. Goddamn that got dark.
And we go back to the old question: why is it okay to kill demons but not humans?
Yeesh you are so salty that those two died.
Though Goddamn this was a brutal chapter.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Well, that was something.
It doesn't have enough characters for me to be attached to. So Im a pretty salty it has several dozen kids I can't empathize with and hurts when Emma feels so protective of them yet I can't feel a thing. Meanwhile the developed ones die.
Also finally Yessssss....

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I mean even if most of them don’t have much character, there still all children so ya kinda sorta don’t want them to die horribly.
Even if I’m not attached to them I’m still attached enough to Emma that I don’t want her to suffer seeing them die.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Honestly, I'm just glad that Emma's "I'll keep everyone from dying" bit keeps getting refuted.
It'll make everything more meaningful when she finally accepts that.
Same for me. It bothers me that this series has only a few characters I directly care about with tons of others that are just there to make up the numbers, but I can at least be scared for them through Emma.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.I mean I can totally empathize with faceless masses children. This series just isn't one of them. It's why whosit that has zero personality getting so high on the popularity poll made me snap.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Pretty sure that was because of shipping which is generally illogical.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."The real issue is that so far there's been exactly one sympathetic demon, and that's Musica. Imagine a demon who's been eating human their whole life, and never questioned the morality until they met a certain group of runaways...
We do meet some kid demons, and there's honestly no reason for them to question eating people since all they would have seen of humans is the product.
In fact Sung implies Musica having never tasted human before is why she doesn't get his love of hunting and eating people again. So humans taste that good.
Edit: Also Lewis was far more tespectful of Emma and gave her respect compared to Andrew who continues to view them as little more than harmless cattle.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Just a random thought… This is the first page of chap 103◊ (where Andrew's death squad shows up), and this is the first page of chap 111◊… I wonder if that's a coincidence or if something's up with that owl…

Oh shit, actual Characters have died! This is a sad day indeed.
Also lol, this "death squad" got totally outplayed by two guys, one of whom had just one arm. What a bunch of losers.
