Valerie: -to Volt- Nope. Pretty much every mage or wizard can sense magic to a degree. My ears just twitch when I'm doing that.
Huh. Most magic back home is something you study to use. It's innate in every being.
-to Asmodeus- So you're a living, thinking machine.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."(@Azzie) Volt: Well, robots are awe-inspiring creatures in our world, and most certainly no slaves. But that's mostly since we don't exactly understand how they work. Still, if you prefer so, Synth it is.
(@Val) Volt: Sorcerers, huh. Makes sense. I'm not gifted innately, nor I had to study more than a bit theory. Everything is in here. ~pulls at his shirt's collar, partially revealing pale skin covered with intricate lines~
(@Lisa) Hastur: That invisibility trick of yours? Impressive, yes.
(@Asagi) Hastur: Well, his illusions are more than powerful, and these days he's desperate for followers. Knowledge is the only thing he can offer to those that are interested. Yet still his mirages seem... off to most normal folks. In a bad sense.

(@Asagi) Hastur: Well, his perception of world is different from the likes of you. And thus when he decides to show mirages to people, as in combat, for instance it likely won't be a figment representing a ferocious beast or a spiked pit trap. It will be an accurate visual and audial depiction of a madness-inducing horror that will eat through its beholders' sanity and send them running if not gibbering and drooling for the rest of their lives. He knows what to show others to scare them, let's put it that way.
(@Val) Volt: Well, that was a present mostly. And there's as much of "magic-using talent" in it as in wieiding an enchanted sword that one didn't make oneself. So you should be proud of yourself.
(@Asagi) Hastur: He's a chill and pleasant dude overall once you get over his haughtiness though. After all, his ilk have inspired most of classical mythological figures. And no, he doesn't show these images to everyone, only when pissed off. I can call upon him if you wish, he'd be glad to tutor someone respectful to illusion magic.

(@Asagi) Hastur: Well, he doesn't hold any grudge against humies or... Asagi-kin. Moreso, he's an Elder God by origin, which makes him my opponent technically. But he's more of a neutral trickster being. Vain to boot, as he and his two brothers have messed up the city where they were revered by pissing off a neighbouring Great Old One. Point to my team, heh.
