@Eurybe: No need for thanks Eurybe. Say, while I have you here, perhaps we could compare notes between our worlds. Given your heritage it may help us understand each other more. I'm sure I drew some notes about the Stone Dragons somewhere. Why don't you talk while I look?
—He returns to his box as he listens to Eurybe. —
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.@Eurybe: Hm...how about with your parentage. You said you you were, half-giant, right? How did that union begin? I've known only one case between a giant and a dragon, but...the less said about that the better our relationship in my eyes. Maybe I'll tell you about it one day. So, how did your parents meet?
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.Eurybe: To begin with, dragons are highly revered beings where I come from - and they are far different from the kind that we encountered on that frozen planet. For one, they are all capable of speech just as any human or giant is, and are as wise as they are powerful. Many of them have learned highly powerful forms of magic and are well read in a variety of subjects.
As for how they met... there is not much to tell, really. My mother met my father during one of her hunts. The two of them started to take an interest in each other, and neither anything strange about their union. They are proud to have a daughter born of two mighty races.
@Eurybe:Well that's certainly a..unique story considering my background. Where I come from Dragons were...not gods per se, but neither mortal either. I can't remember a time the dragons didn't, exist. But I can remember the Giants. My kind, before we found the flame. We were static, unchanging. Nothing lived nor died nor changed. And thenow, there came Fire. We don't know where it began, but it gave us power. And with that power, we challenged the dragons. But the war we started cost us more than we could've wished. Even with Death itself as our ally, we were on the losing side. Some dragons could even command the laws of probability.
Tell me, did the dragons of your home ever master such magics?

'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.@Eurybe: Then be grateful you never had to face one like that. A beast is just a beast, and once you find its weakness, it can be felled. But a beast with the powers of probability on its side, is worse than a god. They are nature embodied. That, was this monster....
—He pulls out a tome and turns to a page illustrating a classical western dragon, except it shows it breathing black fire and having a single slited eye in its forehead instead of the traditional two. Just from the illustration alone it evokes a creature filled with power and rage, ready to tear the helpless apart in its jaws and awesome to behold in its stature. Its black scales create an appearance of a beast charred by flames—
....Kalameet. A dragon so ferocious and deadly, even my Lord Gwyn dared not provoke his ire. Tell me, are you familiar with any who resemble him?
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.@Eurybe: Strange. Most people I know would at least recognize a dragon by that illustration, if not who it was. Perhaps your father was a different sort? Tell me, what kinds of...well I'll just say gifts for now, did you inherit from your parents? Perhaps breathing fire?
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.Hathor: Certainly. -touches the staff-
-she's got a good amount out magical energy, though it's still pretty untamed-
Eurybe: Our dragons loo similar, but they have two eyes.
As for my "gifts", well... I can fly, I am very strong, I can heat up my body temperature to be burning hot, am effectively immune to the effects of freezing cold and searing heat... as for being able to breath fire, well, I can do nothing quite as spectacular as what I see in this picture.
-Hathor barely feels the energy leaving from her fingertips, although it seems enough for the staff mage girl-
Ling: Hmmm. Young, untamed, and unrelenting. A wizard who specializes in wielding the weather and does not use many incantations?
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Ling: You don't know? My my, what are they teaching young mages these days...
To be serious, every magician weaves a tiny trace of themselves into their magic. No magic force I've seen came completely from a vacuum.
-She forms a small ball of energy that glows similarly to Hathor's own blue-toned skin coloration-
Observing this energy and understanding its strengths and weaknesses is a skill most basic mages learn before they even begin basic cantrips. It's the basis of necromancy, after all.

Eurybe: Hm, I see...
-she puts the substance over hear spear, and it heals up the wear and tear rather well-
Eurybe: Impressive... Thank you, Artorias.
