Asagi: ...Huh. That's a pretty wiggy tale. Just like Catherine's here.
-And then the wyvern crashes through the roof. She only watches the descent of the kitsoon from the top of the roof to the floor with the passiveness of someone watching golf-
Asagi: ...
Huh.
Guess...there's a lot of weird trippy-ass portals around here.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Auron: -to Cindy- "Better to die fighting your sorrows than running from them, without a chance to catch your breath."
-to Lisa- "...depends on the kind of wine you've been drinking."
-to Hastur- "You never unveil your face? Why—"
-It's at this point that the wyvern crashes through the tavern. He turns to face it, his hand reaching up to grab the hilt of his sword.-
"Fiends!? Here!? No, this is..."
-He raises an eyebrow at the woman on top of the wyvern.- "...are you...alright?"

Be kind.Heliodor Facet 3G9K Cut 8IO had a plan. She was a Hem who would stay ahead of the market, sell Gems something they didn't know they wanted.
She stood on a stepstool adjusting the uv light hanging from the ceiling of her small allotted space in Capitol. Beryl's like her didn't get much room, and in fact she lacked a bed entirely. This was irrelevant to her as she never slept.
All her life she had committed herself to the strength and welfare of Homeworld, she always gave fighting Gems reduced prices, and paid her taxes in excess. But she knew it wasn't her place to join in a quest for Gemkind's resources. She instead sold weapons to Gems at Arms. But she was considering a new direction, all thanks to a long time Rose Quartz client of her.
She was highly polite considering her station relative to Heliodur, only ever speaking with minor condescension. Helidor never got her full serial number but recalled her Gem resting in her left shoulder. Her summoned weapon was defensive in nature and thus she wanted a steady supply of new arms.
"I'm a bit short on credits today, sadly..." the Rose Quartz had said. "But here's a special gift from off-planet. Keep it a secret, and I think they will be useful to you someday."
She handed Helidor two dozen brown tear shaped seeds snd a small message on how to make them grow.
With a hundred years of pulling strings she had finally got soil and a light capable of growing the flowers with dehydrating them in the light of Homeworld's sun. They were lovely life forms , and a new aesthetic piece for bored noble Gems tired of the standard crystal dangles.
She took one flower, and removed it's seeds. She would be selling the rest of course but you got to plan for future demand. The rest were stored safely in her Gem, which shown from her chest.
On her way to the marketplace there was a flash from nowhere. It drew her in and paralyzed her leaving her stranded in some far off town in the desert.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.~Hastur rushes... past Nova and towards Minerva~
(@Minerva) Hastur: Oh, shantak! Here! What a surprise! ~turns towards Nova~ Hope you two are feeling well enough. Especially this shantak. They're rare these days. ~gives the wyvern a worried look~
(@Auron) Hastur: And, answering your question - you don't wanna see my face... Or you most likely physically won't. Though, to be fair, right now I can't unveil it, stuck in this body for a while. But well, why are you so jumpy about fiends, casters, so on? Bad experience?
Helidor decided that the only logical course of action here was to head into town. She didn't fear the desert as she needed no food or water. But any chance of returning home rested in civilization.
Regardless she tried to avoid drawing too much attention to herself. Other species tended to react to Gems violently, fulfilling thier mad desire to see Gems destroyed. At least that's what the films she watched relayed.
The safest bet was to sneak up on the natives and try to figure out how to best disguise herself among them. Pity she had never grasped shape shifting.
She didn't get far before spotting a reptilian flyer. She observed it for signs of sentience.

The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Hastur looks at both the master and the pet, tilting his head slightly.
Hastur: I wish I could find rest that easily. ~sigh~
(@Lisa) Hastur: Name's Hastur, though my close friends call me The Feaster From Afar, but there are none left, so Hastur will do. Nice to meet you.
(@Auron) Hastur: Life dinnae go easy on you, huh? And my appearance is like that because I've literally died once. No powers yet to bring back my true looks. The math of this I'd... rather not explain.
(@Asagi) Hastur: Are you sure that was just some simple medicine and not something straight outta Alhazred consuming list? ~suspicious stare~
A flash somewhere further down the road catches the King In Yellow's attention. He walks closer to take a look at Helidor.
(@Helidor) Hastur: Umm... You alright there?
