Liman pulled the tablet back close to her, flicking it off and hugging it close to her chest and slowly shook her head. "I—I apologize, but I...I never heard of Valt-Tek before. I don't think it is compatible, unless we...modify it to be."
The two turned at the voice towards Eiries, looking up and the younger grunt gawking under her mask. Osvald kept his calm and adjusted his grip and hand to shake her hand firmly, nodding politely. "Osvald Stahl. Pleased t' meet you."
Assuming that Eires extends her hand again to shake the smaller Helghast's hand, Liman tiptoed to try and reach it to shake it as well. "Liman Dunkenstahl, m-ma'am. It's a pleasure to meet you."

всегда веренEires @Albert: "I suppose that makes enough sense."
@The Helghast: "Likewise. Did you two get here by accident, by chance? You're looking rather out of place just at the moment."
Eires shakes both of the soldier's hands in a firm grip. Even though she's dressed casually it would be apparent to anyone with experience that she has military training herself, by the way she holds herself and talks to the two; professionally but not unkindly.
[forum cryptid: it/it's]"Given that a few hours ago we were outdoors in the middle of winter, I can safely say we did not come here by choice.", the sergeant replied. His tone was direct and pointed, but not in the least guttural or harsh.
"It is not just—" Liman piped up before Osvald coughed, holding a hand to his mask and causing the younger of the two to pause for a moment before continuing. "It's—also our vehicle. We came in a jeep." she finished, her accent distinctly and softly Eastern European in intonation. She gave a small nod to Albert, muttering a very quiet "Maybe." as she put the tablet away.
The two are not dressed casually, not by any measure even when one sees the two for the first time. Heavy vests with patterns and pockets, a large backpack, a helmet hooked to their belts and industrial gas-masks on their face. Not the least of all is the carbine on their back as well as the holstered sidearms to her waist or under his armpit. They talked with a distinct formal overtone to their speeches, and the manner they carried themselves suggested formal training as well.

всегда верен"I see. That seems to be a recurring theme among the people we meet." Eires said. "A few days ago I was performing combat operations on some moon out in the middle of nowhere, and the next thing I knew, I was out in the Middle of Nowhere. You have my sympathies for your situation. I understand where you're coming from. Do you two have a place to stay?"
[forum cryptid: it/it's]The sergeant shook his head, still folding his arms before looking up at Eires. " 'S fine. We 're actually in a dire strait 'fore we got here. Our vehicle broke down from a solar flare and we are stuck.", offering a concealed smile as his shoulders relaxes. "Thanks, regardless."
"As for our accommodations, we 'ave been camping out in what looks like a hangar. No one seems bothered, or tried to kick us out yet. So that's where we have been stayin'."
Osvald looks down back at Liman who scooted closer to Osvald throughout the conversation, and gave her a nod along with a thumbs up. "There is also not just the two of us, ma'am...Th-There's four of us.", she piped up.
"And as for your question, Mr. Walker—", Osvald pausing to ponder before replying. "As you can see, yes we are soldiers. As for where we 're from, I would answer for another time in more private company.", with a small shrug. "Not everyone took kindly to who we are, you understand.", affirmed by a nod from Liman.

всегда верен"Just four of you? Hey, Albert it is 'Albert', right?, we should have some extra space if they needed it, right? Are you all fine in a hanger? I mean, from the looks of it you're all used to that sort of thing but I can't image it would be a first choice of encampments."
Eires looked a little concerned for both of the Helghast, but retained her composure nonetheless.
