(@Asagi) Hastur: Um, how're you holding up lately? It's just that last time we've had a chat, you've been honing your illusion powers, got your demon side under control and became a successor of a sorceress. It's better than it was when we've dug you up on Nowhere, but still a bit much to handle for one girl, I'd say.
Asagi: Welllllll...first off, thanks for thinkinga me.
Feels like I'm doing a bit better mentally. At least I FEEL mostly stable. Still the occasional weird vision dredged up from weirdo stuff in my head, but it's a lot easier on the head now.
I do admit I'm hitting a bit of a brick wall on the illusions aspect of my magic, though.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Asagi: I'm having a hard time controlling the illusions for long. For really small stuff like my guns, I can do that, but it feels like trying for something extended is testing my mind a lot. Like, sometimes I feel like my attention is being divided two or three ways as hard as my brain is forcing stuff, and the illusion just inevitably breaks and stuff. I dunno what's wrong with what I'm doing, it just always seems to happen.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)(@Asagi) Hastur: You may have heard that on multiversal iterations of Earth that are dominated by Great Old Ones magic is that kind of weird shit that drives sorcerers mad and plunges them on the slippery road of power-hungry dehumanization. So, well, the reason for it being so volatile is just that, magic stemming from eldritch forces is erosive for human minds. So I'm sorta used to seeing this happen.
(@Asagi) Hastur: ~sports a yellow blush~ Well... Having multilinear tetradimensional cognitive processes is somewhat different from being smart. It's just that one can't say that an amphibian is smarter than a fish. Hope the allegory is clear enough.
