Ges: didn't the toaster repeatedly try to kill you as well?

Quartz (@Ren): If you don't mind, what can you tell me about the tank here?

Asagi: Yeah. That toaster was evil.

I don't quite know why it wanted to kill me, though.

Ren: You got locked in a fridge? Don't they normally have emergency release levers inside them?

@Quartz: Its a Type 6 heavy Tank, a siege breaker with a 150mm main gun, a secondary turret mounted to the back, and over 300mm of frontal armor, sides clock in at.... I think it was 150? About the only part your going to be able to get through its armor is the back.... You shouldn't have to worry too much about it.

Its just kind of.... slow? Shall we say.

Asagi: ...Mine was cramped and cold. And small. >.>

Roy: "150mm huh? Oh man, I want one of those."

Oliver: One hundred and fifty millimetres.

Holy shit. That makes the gun VEGA has look like a peashooter, and it's easily half the size of the tank here.

Ges: "Oh wow this thing is pretty nuts, it would qualify as a recoiless rifle in the hands of a Zaku II. I can't fit inside though, so I'll just stand on the roof and function as another turret. When can it head out by the way? or is it all set to go now?"

Asagi: The tank's probably ready to go out. But they're probably going to need to find a way to transport it who knows how many miles, unless you're expecting to carry her the whole way.

Ges: You think I could carry it the whole way?

Asagi: I dunno. Have you tried carrying tanks before?

-gespenst put a hand to his chin and began to think.-

Ges: “I probably could, but i might damage the tank and I’d rather not be responsible for trashing a family heirloom of the guy who hired us.”

Quartz: Ah, we are going after a train, I heard? That'd mean there must be rails going to our destination...

Asagi: Hmmmm...that could be more prudent. Trains hold a lot more weight than any of us, after all.

Quartz: -nods- And we might have to use them at some point anyways, if the artifacts cannot be removed from the car they're held in.

Ges: “why not just hijack the train the artifacts are on once we get there? No point in just trying to take a single car.”

Asagi: So's this is like that train hijacking we did a whole long while back, huh?

Ges: first time I’ve hijacked a train, though there was this one time I tried it with a land battleship.

Asagi: ...Did it involve explosions? Because I think this time might involve explosions if we're unlucky. Or lucky.

Ges: well yeah it involved explosions, you can't hijack a land battleship and not expect explosions. Also there's gonna be explosions on this mission, we have a tank. Tanks naturally attract explosions.

Asagi: That is incredibly unassailable logic there. The only question now is if they're cannon fire or samurai explosions. I don't remember what kind of technowizardry they do here. I lost like a good several days when I got thrown into jail.

Ges: The answer is obvious: Both. Also thank you for reminding me of that, it's another reason I'm not very comfortable being back here.

Asagi: I already forgot most of my time here, so I'm not averse.

...Although now I wonder if I should dress up to fit in with this place so that I don't get arrested again for...whatever reason I was arrested in the first place.

Ges: you do you asagi.

-Gespenst seemed to crack his knuckles as some of his gears started to rev up as he looked forward to a very interesting mission-

As long as we don't kill any mages like the client asked us not to or wreck his heirloom, I don't think he'll complain if we respond in kind to anyone that comes to us looking for trouble.

Asagi: Most likely not. We'd be dealing with samurai, after all. They can't complain if they get their ass kicked in the line of duty.

-She grabs the pair of horns on her head and pops them off, then somehow pulls a pair of fox ears out from the top of her head, which wiggle about organically-

Asagi: I guess we'll want to commandeer us a train to transport the tank...maybe see if we can get some information along the way. The train would need pit stops, and the closer we get to the other side's territory, the more likely we can suss out information on what we're looking at enemy wise.
