Haken: a lot of these machines are actually copies of machines that just seem to appear out of thin air, we find them either buried in the ground, orbiting in the depths of space, a few we found on the moons, and then there are the few occassions were new models show up with pilots out of thin air.
We're more than capable of replicating most of it, but knowing how to build something doesn't really mean you know what Parts A and B do, just that they go together.
Oliver: Hey, Quartz.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."
Six: -to Solas- Replace "scaly" with "scarred" and you've got me pegged.
Oliver: Oh, boy!
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."—Takanuva is looking over the Exo-toa, scribbling down notes of the markings scattered across the armor engraved in his language. They're pretty mundane stuff, some numbers, labels, but one thing does interest him. He sees Haken talking with Quartz and Oliver, and heads over—
@Haken: Hey Haken, mind if I ask you something? It's about the Exo-Toa suit you have. Unless you're occupied about something else.
@Quartz: Hey Quartz. How's it going?
@Oliver: Hey Oliver.

'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.Oliver: -to Quartz- I think I'm starting to get used to all of this.
Whether or not that's a good or a bad thing depends on how you view fighting.
-to Takanuva- Tak.
Six: We're helping out a colony that settled down here. The place is apparently war-torn. And on top of that, they prefer using eighteen metre tall combat robots to fight.
They are far faster than they have any right to be.

Haken: it's alright, believe it or not despite the fact we can manufacture these beasts there are still things about them we don't understand. A lot of times you can say we understand the 'how' and not the 'why'
