Mercuria: Nothing else is required. Considering it has been in close proximity to your source of "red magic", as I believe it was called, creating a rune plate to make it bonded to your innate sense of magic it was relatively easy.
Which is why I had called you here to test it out in its current state, in case adjustments must be made.
Asagi:-Frowns as she admits her sorta-common sense is right. She begins the arduous climb upwards- We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)
Mercuria: Still in testing. I did not want to completely compromise its function as some form of otherworldly blunderbuss, hence why I have taken it apart to see the limits of what I can accomplish here.
It would take at minimum few more days to see it finished as a staff, is what I am saying.
Asagi: Man...I haven't seen this much mountain climbing since I played that legend of zelda game...

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Mercuria: One should hope not. Although you will likely be more than able to carry your own weight until this is completed, considering your raw strength.
Asagi: ...Never played a video game before?
-It looks about three-quarters filled, due to all her talking-
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Asagi: Um, okay?
Mercuria: I've never worked with materials such as this on a concept that should be theoretical. A mechanika that combines the functions of a magical staff, of which I have only been able to study few of in my "practical" education, and a shotgun which was created from a space and time completely removed from nearly everything I have worked with before.
Intellectually, it excites me in ways that are hard to put into words.
