(Donna mumbles, as he adjusts the knobs on the device. There are multiple frequencies, from opera channels, to country music channels, to a bunch of static, to, eventually, sounds of wind, as he reaches the coordinates that Roy recited. A gravelly, deep voice is heard, asking a poignant question.)
???: This thing on? Freaking hate operating these on backwater planet frequencies.
[Loswell Labs]
???: [There we go. Didn't think it'd work over such long distances. It was hard getting this to work with the Ruspin lady.]
(He clears his throat.)
???: [Anyway, I'm Kol. I used to work for Vudan Arms. I saw some of you were envoys, and see you on pictures on the internet here, like one involving a bank robbery.]
(Beat.)
Kol: [You guys stick out like a sore thumb.]
[Loswell Labs]
Kol: [I'm not gonna critique you on being inconspicuous. I'm just here to help you fight the Vudan Arms. Sadly, I don't know where the Vudan Arms are, right now. But if I knew, I would tell you.]
(He clears his throat.)
Kol: [But, anyway, I suppose you're wondering why I'd help you.]

Kol: [I don't want them to find me. It was a business I never wanted to join. Maybe it's a bit ungrateful, since they're the ones who provided me a means to actually live. But threatening to take away your means to live gets on your nerves after a while. So, I damaged the ship. Got it to crash.]
(Beat.)
Kol: [But, I get the feeling, they won't let bygones be bygones. If they get far, which I doubt, considering the people they're giving weapons to barely look like a threat, they'll probably look for me again, and "recruit" me. Maybe worse. So, I think our interests overlap here; your job seems to be to get rid of these guys, and I want to be rid of them too. I can maybe understand if you don't trust me, though. I'm kinda the cause of this in the first place.]

Donna: @Roy: The radio? Why would I want to listen to sports down here- OH. The military radio.
(He goes to get the military radio. It looks like one of those large tables you roll around, with a lot of technology on top of it. It looks pretty outdated, though.)
Donna: I was gonna take this thing apart. What do you need it for?
