(@Quartz) Hastur: That could be something improbable, yet... Ah, forget it, that's something that could be accounted upon bad luck.
(@Okita) Akhen: Ah, I see. So I am not the one of the magical species. Do you hail from Kamigawa, or are you a kitsune from far away?
Akhen then notices Valerie and nods to her, as he remembers her from the tasks undertaken at Hyne's Horizon.
Longram: @Donna "I see. Though I'm curious of the traveling part."
@Quartz "Not my afterlife but I can say it's a white void akin to purgatory. A strange bald woman calling herself The Riverman send the recently departed to their respective realms, Delin and the Well. Heard Delin's a paradise realm for good people while the sinners goes to the Well to atone for their misdeed. Just like Heaven and Hell."

Donna: You get a lot to do when you're effectively immortal, so I traveled the world. Tried some foreign cuisine. Hiked. Went to Mount Everest. That got a bit boring. So, I decided, hey, nobody's gone to space and beyond!
(Beat.)
Donna: And got disappointed that people have gone to space and beyond, but it was still a pleasant surprise.
Longram: "Better than mine I bet."
"You know, I really consider making permanent residence here. The environment's untainted by radiation, no mutant animals trying to kill you, no need to struggle for survival, and the locals are a decent bunch. Closest thing to what I strive for."
"It felt like a prosperous home here."

(@Quartz) Hastur: In the world of mine?
The King in Yellow vocally laughs.
(@Quartz) Hastur: Do you really think an entity not bound by the three conventional dimensions is something that would be constrained by any form of an afterlife? Fine, I will tell you.
Hastur, even looking as a kid, laughs, his face looking almost maniacal.
(@Quartz) Hastur: It's something that leaves you without any choice. That's my sire, Uncle Nyaru. I've met him after meeting Old Man Henderson. The human being who has exerted himself to the point of being eradicated, yet bringing me to the brink of infinity? Making me meet Crawling Chaos Nyarlathotep? His edict was something that has made me what I am.
Hastur calms down and stops laughing. He looks surprisingly calm for the memories he has just mentioned.
(@Quartz) Hastur: That's why I've managed to understand the value of life. I've realized how much humans can do before they are crushed under the weight of time and outside force. Do you really want to know what an afterlife of a Great Old One means?
(@Okita) Akhen: Kamigawa is a world of kami and katana-wielding fighters that I've visited once. Yet it is different from Earth. I hope I didn't offend you with this comparison.

—Takanuva is around, listening—
@Hastur: Interesting description...Hastur, right? Where I come from, it's said that the dead are sent off to the Red Star and they are never seen again. Of course, the same is said for the realms of Arthaka and Karzhani, but it's a little bit different for them.
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.(@Takanuva) Hastur: Beliefs of mere living things? Why should that concern those who are the universe's forces manifest? Or... were those. I dunno what's in store for me when I meet my maker again, but it will likely be different from whatever I've faced before.
(@Quartz) Hastur: Considering what? The differences of me from those of frail flesh and grounded mind, I assume? ~he doesn't seem to harbour any animosity despite any attempts to compare him to any other life form~ ...Yet I'm not the one to be proud of myself now. If anything, I'm probably the less potent being than you are now, Quetzalcoatl.
(@Okita) Akhen: Glad to hear that. If so, care to tell me more of your world and your past? I assume it should be a tale to tell.

Longram: @Donna "Why did you build that kind of contraption?"
