@Albert: It's a Rahi that was said to be left behind on an island. It knew just one thing: it was hungry. So it ate, and kept eating. According to legend, it started out no bigger than a pebble. Now, apparently it's so big it's called "The Mountain". In short, it is literally a mountain that eats whatever is unlucky enough to be climbing it.
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.—Takanuva sits up from where he was lying, knocking sand off of his mask and out of his eye slits—
@Albert: I'm sure. You speak of him fondly. He can't be all bad if you defend him like that.
So, when do you suppose this...vacation of ours ends? When the next building starts burning up and someone comes screaming for help?
—Takanuva chuckles at his words, like he wants to tempt fate or something—

'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.@Albert: Well, technically it's meant to bring peace and understanding to those around it. Think of it like a, good feeling field that helps calm down others or help spread trust. Can't say that I've used my mask's power often though, hehe. Not a lot of good that's brought me. I've never tested this, but it's said the mask can also sense the moral light in others, whatever the Turaga meant by that. It can also generate beams of light I can fire, but I've only done so once. It also is the source of my elemental Light powers. Anything else you're curious about?

'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.[Rumine]
(So after a lot of paperwork we probably didn't need to play out, the envoys and anyone else who wants to come along, for either defensive or other purposes, are sent out to Kovian on a large, modern ship with the conveniences you'd expect from it.)
Will do some plot advancement later; just streamlining things a little.

Cath: @Asagi: Well, if we bungle this up, there's the threat of war.
(Beat.)
Cath: Er, no pressure. ._.
