Naomi: Both of those are reasonable, but hear me out.
The news said their quantum entanglement communicator was broken.
Now I know that sounds innocuous.
-takes on insulting tone of voice-
"Dumb Naomi don't you know that all you have to do is observe the qubits and then you have an intact machine that doesn't work?"
In theory, you are correct, though might I add, hypothetical naysayer, you are also a bitch. Now, I'm not sure how these guys do it but back home, and I presume this is the standard for QE comms that anyone with more than two brain cells would use, the machinery that actually puts the qubits into talky mode is hardcoded to do so, and it runs on a seperate machine from whatever you're using to talk, meaning that you either put polity-level resources into a hack that shuts it off, pry it open to mess it up, or just toss a brick of plastic explosives or an EMP bomb at it and call it a day.
So if Nowhere's QE communicator is dead, well, looks like those Duke boys are in a peck of trouble, y'know?

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Naomi: -to Omar, but also Lisa and Roy kind of- Essentially? Yes.
I don't think they disappeared. As kinda terrifying as it is to consider it, somebody or something wanted them gone.

Cath: Well, we've been doing a lot of fighting, and this is kind of heavy, learning our... Well, your, first impromptu mission was on Nowhere. So, I'm thinking, we could use a break. And I think my home planet, Ohn, could maybe be just the break we need. I think it's honestly a pretty nice, peaceful place.

Havoc: Planet too, the people on the planet are worth more then the rock, and they are gone
