Edea meets the APC crew along other convoy members.
(@Team) Edea: Glad to see you here, safe and sound. Would you please get in for initial briefing? We are waiting on more intel, but have already sorted out some details according to what we've got.
(@The Team) The Owl: It's another sorceress. And she has been close to the President for all that time, so the Guardian Force your squadmates... ~looks at the time~ had just made dematerialize is the least of our troubles.
In the Embassy there are General Caraway and Ambassador Frain, looking at building plans for the missile base along with something resembling a remote control.
(@Team) Caraway: Ah, you're here. First and foremost - a question. I assume some of you have got some experience in handling explosives and high ordnance?
(@Team) The Owl: It is indeed so. But there's enough info to find out her location and something about kinds of magic she has access to. You can probably guess by now. What's the easiest way to hide oneself amidst highly organized system of government officials via magic?
(@Six;Roy;Lisa) Caraway: Then I assume you're not going to back away when we ask you to plant satchel charges in order to detonate the warhead storage of the base?
(@Team) The Owl: All of you are right. The sorceress is using mental powers to disguise herself as someone close to the President and is manipulating other officials from her position. The thing is, every sorceress has a penchant for a certain type of magic. There was Adel, who has been using pure force, Lady Edea with affinity for ice and Ultimecia with powers over time and space. This one seems to use psychic magic... Which is probably the worst of all.

Six: Negative. I've done demolition ops before.
-Naomi sits and listens-
-Though you can tell the idea of somebody using psionic abilities to casually violate people's self-determinance doesn't sit very well with her-
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."(@Team) Caraway: Good. Because that's exacly what your mission boils down to. Along with setting off emergency alarms to ensure that most of the civilian personnel will be able to evacuate in time.
(@Momonga) The Owl: It is, in a way. Moreso, those who use it are called "majo", witches. Sorceresses. Those like me. But utilizing those powers for personal gain is nothing good. Luckily we've found a way to deal with that without falling under charm ourselves.
(@Six) Frain: Judging from what we have seen... Nothing you can't handle since they've started gathering forces there only after Rofocale has shown his true face. And, concerning him... The Guardian Force has been seen in human form at the base right now. Nobody has disclosed anything about the incident since accusing us of an attempted murder would be revealing his monstrous origin to general public. But now someone's got a chip on his shoulder.
(@Team) The Owl: I've had some experience with mind control which was applied to me via a pendant. So I've tried my best and made similar ones, but with opposite effect. They will render the wearers immune to charms and illusions, which should make it easier for you to rat the witch out. And putting one on her should place her into anti-magic field as well, which will make her mental magic useless and shatter spells she could've already cast. This should be enough to put an end to her machinations, but, well...

-Meanwhile, elsewhere in Deling City-
-Valerie and Oliver relax-
