-Even with this it takes a while for the fluffy samurai to respond-
-When she does, the most she does is merely open an eye and then speak-
Momonga: <...I must admit, this is the first time I have seen a scorpion shielding itself from the sun with a blanket made of kasuri. Let alone raise its tail above its own head.>

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)The conference hall is a spatious room with lots of circularly arranged tables surrounding a holo-projector. The Commander and the President take their seats along with their escort, and as they wait for others to follow, a depiction of the planet of Hyne's Horizon in shades of blue pixels. Two regions, Esthar and Galbadia, are highlit in red.
(@Team) Laguna: So. Right before your eyes are borders of states of Esthar and Galbadia, which have long history of conflicts forced upon unwilling citizens by nutty bosses. At first it was Esthar willing to expand borders and conquer Galbadia along with... less significant states like Trabia and Balamb. Sorry, Squall. ( - Whatever.) Then - Galbadia opening an all-out war as well. And the reason for both conflicts was stemming from one source. Sorceresses.
The globe disappears, and instead of it appear multiple faces of stern women with facial markings and avian features.
(@Team) Laguna: At first it was Sorceress Adel who tyrannically directed Esthar to bring her world domination. Then Sorceress Ultimecia, who manipulated Galbadian government into destroying populaces and eventually tried to compress the time and space itself to avenge persecutions of her kind. I've put an end to Adel, and Squall and his pals over there dealt with Ultimecia. But right now... It seems that there's another trouble brewing. And I, uh, don't wanna taste the stew that'll result in the end.
Holographic sorceresses disappear as well, giving way to portraits of two stern men that definitely look like high-ranking politicians.
(@Team) Laguna: The figurehead for Ultimecia's rule was Vinzer Deling, the totalitaristic President of Galbadia who got assassinated in the process of resolving the conflict. After the war has ended six years ago, Galbadia was left without a leader, and the populace has almost unanimously voted for Cybert Croswell, much more liberal and prudent official of Deling's court. The decision seemed to be the right one, and Croswell has managed to fix most of the wreck left by Deling and Ultimecia over time, but... two weeks ago Croswell's edicts have become bothersome, to say the least, and some of our embassy's agents have managed to retrieve questionable mail that was directed by President Croswell to some external parties. I'll delve into specifics shortly, but, well, is everything clear to this point?
Asagi: Sooooooooo farrrrrrrr...
Momonga: <Because you have intentionally taken the wrong steps to preserve your honor here.>
<Your lord has not permitted it. You have no second. And you are using a grooming device instead of your sword.>
<You acted like a scorpion dancing on a hot iron moments before, but dismissing you as inept at something this sacred would shame us both.>

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)—Takanuva listens in on the President's words as well. He has many questions, but he compartmentalizes to consider these 'Sorceresses' to have operated much like the Makuta did. Perhaps this, liberal official was being manipulated or had been replaced by an impostor like Turaga Dume had been in the time of Metru Nui. He keeps quiet, trying his best to grasp the words of this...President. The word is still strange even in his mind's voice. Is he like Turaga Dume, a higher elder than the others? Perhaps that was how it was. Whatever the case, he was the one speaking, so Takanuva listened.—
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.
