—Artorias takes a deep breath. This is where he is where he is at his lowest. Bear the burden and let the truth out. Nothing must be hidden. Lest this only come back to bite others in the back.—
@Squall: I recall sharing my tale with one of your party, but she left shortly after my arrival. A Doctor, I believe. To my shame , I did not share my condition with the rest of you, and for that, I have caused you pain and suffering. I did not believe I would need to worry for my condition, as the doctor's healing seemed to have calmed it to a manageable state, and save for moments of great emotion, I felt secure in controlling it. I am now aware that was never the case. So I never took measures to withhold my corruption, I admit. I was aware, but I thought it controllable. And now I see, I was gravely mistaken in my hubris. That is what I can tell you, unless you wish to know more.
'If you fall seven times, stand up eight.' The cry of the Undead.Six: I heard nothing about any corruption he might have had until now. Can't say whether or not he told anyone else.
The medic we had didn't seem to know. If he'd told her then she would have been sprinting with her giga-sedative out to calm him down. I think we had another doctor at some point, but I never did talk much with her.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Squall squints a bit and looks at Artorias, then responds after a moment of silence.
(@Artorias) Squall: I see. So the happening was entirely your fault due to your carelessness, overconfidence and lack of foresight. If you care to call yourself a "knight" of wherever you come from, I shudder to think about how wrecked your world is if they grand knighthood to people like you. Admitting your fault doesn't make the tale tragic or you worthy of compassion. You're just a fool.
Squall turns to Six, badly concealed disgust in his eyes.
(@Six) Squall: You should've been more selective in whom you let to tag along.
(@Einar) The King In Yellow: ~frowns~ I can understand this. Still - hope you'll come back by the time you'll get fixed properly. I will sorta... miss you, even though I don't get along with most of the Emperor's finest.
...
Speaking of which, can you point me to where your loyalist buddy is? We have something to talk about.
The door opens - it's Quistis, only now clad in doctor's labcoat.
(@Longram) Quistis: Sorry for the delay. I've been assigned to ease your pain and help you get back on your feet to the best of my ability as one of the Garden's qualified medic magicians. This won't take too long. Care to let me unbandage the stump?
Six: From this point onwards, we will be. Do you think I could have predicted this? That anyone but he could have? For all we knew he was just a knight.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Six: -to Artorias- Is there any way you can think of to control your corruption, even if it is not one that can be implemented right now?

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."(@Artorias) Squall: ~sighs~ Don't overplay it. You may feel humiliated, but trying to find an exit by death makes you even more disgusting. Furthermore, as much as I'd probably want to, I'm not allowed to. As a holder of license permitting judicial activity in states of Esthar, Trabia, Galbadia and Balamb, I am sanctioning you for transfer to Galbadia's D-District Prison for 3 years of confinement. The term may be shortened to five months by fully covering fines for collateral damage. You've wrecked much more than you've massacred, and our legislative system allows us to not include injuries you've inflicted upon your own squad.
(@Six) Squall: The amount of gil needed to fully repair the Garden equals to 17,000. Are you willing to cover these expenses on your squadmate's, however useless he is, behalf?
(@Einar) The King In Yellow: Aha... Thank you. Will pay him a visit then.
As Hastur is leaving, he says one more thing from the doorway.
(@Einar) The King In Yellow: Best of luck, and I wish that when you recuperate fully and come back, on the inside you'll be just the same Einar you are now. ... And I mean your attitude, not that ruptured spleen.
He then heads towards the team room, looking serious and trying to locate Hector.
Quistis unwraps the bandages, then steps back and begins to concentrate as a sleek feminine entity made of ice
Quistis: Shiva. Double. Esuna. Regen.
Adam feels slight itching at the stump as the rusted-red gore gives way to regrowing pinkish flesh. Quistis then changes bandages, careful not to damage soft regenerating tissue.
(@Longram) Quistis: There. Now it should take about a week for you to regrow a new arm. It'll be as good as new, just be very careful with the regenerating flesh. Also soon you'll feel numb pain due to your bones regrowing themselves around the marrow. Use painkillers or booze to deal with it. And, if you didn't get it yet, you're prohibited to undertake any physical activities which put strain on your muscles until the process ends. Any questions?

@Black Hole Albert: "Yup. I have one as well, so I understand the importance."
Will make dad jokes for friends.
