what are your thoughts on the Y2K/frutiger aero/2000s tech aesthetic? do you see the appeal and miss its glassy, nature-like designs, or think it’s nothing but nostalgia bait for an era we’ve never lived?

hit me up on MSN messenger! ;DOpinions on “aesthetics” in general? Are they an accurate represntation of the time period / location and its visual style, or is it just a distilled and misinterpreted mishmash of wildly opposing concepts?
Everyone distills Kirby down in to “heartless monster who kills gods for cake” which, besides the fact this only happened in one game, is also wildly innacurate: There are no true gods (in the traditional sense) in the series and Kirby’s main goal in Mouse Attack (Squeak Squad) was to get his cake back. The “god-killing” came second.

KIRBY PLUSHSilliest Alternative Character Interpretation you've ever seen?
To name a few: Ramases, the Fairy Godmother, Jack Horner and Death, and (no spoilers) the antagonists of both Bad Guys movies.

All witches, all skeletons, all jack O Lanterns, gather round your TV set, put on your masks, and watch...watch the magic pumpkin, Watch...Generic question (even coming from me), but how's your week so far?
I surprisingly have few picks for that. Not that I'm some sort of liar when it comes to Stop Motion (I've been interested in the artform ever since I was little), but because I've only seen a handful of works that dabble in it and even then there's only so much that can stick to my mind when it comes to that genre. That being said...
I would like to recommend anyone, animation enjoyer or otherwise, the short films of Jan Švankmajer. Most of them dabble in the genre (my favorite using it with such dark whimsy, "Darkness, Light, Darkness"), but they also have elements of puppetry and using real people (which reminds of the other favorites, "Manly Games" and "Food"). I think they're widely available on Youtube. Aside from that, I'd like to give a mention to Norman McLaren's Neighbours (1952) - which also uses real people and only mentioning it because I just think it's neat.
As for series... I could basically cheat by just saying "anything by Aardman Animations". But truth be told, I haven't binged on a lot of stop-motion shows the same way when I was young. I do sometimes have the urge to binge on either the series' of Rex the Runt and Wallace & Gromit (you could say that they're in my backlog alongside many other stuff), but that'll be for another day... hopefully. Maybe. Who knows?

Welcome, my little friend! Or should I say...friends?If you became a Pokemon in a Pokemon Mystery Dungeon game, which one would you want to be?
I guess Popplio, because of this post I made
. Specifically, I want to be either option 1 or option 3 at the bottom of the post. Alternatively, I would love to be a Meowscarada.
Most characters from Cuphead; Toriel, Asgore, Asriel, and Papyrus from Undertale; and pretty much every character in games like TinkerQuarry and Stars in the Trash.

Please make this canon, DC. I love the idea of the Joker and Harley's hyenas acting like them.do you have any particular favorite characters from indie games?
no, i'm not counting characters who are playable in Champions of the Continent as "playable" if they weren't playable in their base game
also, Guide-able NPCs in these games do NOT count, you do NOT control them
per game:
- Octopath Traveler:
- Lianna definitely comes to mind, such an interestingly developed character, serves as a perfect complement to Ophilia
- Mattias is also a good one, perfect foil to Ophilia
- Therese is such a silly little girl, how could you hate her
- Odette is a super fun contrast to Cyrus, much more blunt with her words, and can actually fucking see love
- Leon Bastralle is super cool, i really like the guy
- Baltazar for a similar reason to Leon; he's also just... a really good character, despite his tiny role
- Erhardt is super cool, definitely a good guy, though the fight between him and Olberic was sick as all hell
- Simeon is silly, and actually an engaging character!
- Graham Crossford, though he's much more than just "in Alfyn's story", is such a compassionate guy, you really feel bad for him once the revelations happen.
- Heathcote i just found really funny, especially considering the fact he was my very first Square Enix boss, so i was immensely confused when he turned giant.
- Cordelia Ravus, while sorta flat, i admire what she is, and i really wish we could get to see an expansion on her character
- ...i'm so sorry H'aanit, but i just don't remember your story that much 😭 Z'aanta's cool though! fun guy
- of course, i have to mention Kit Crossford. super interesting guy, and, again, The Ending Changes Everything.
- yeah i'm gonna have to skip Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent, considering how... literally any NPC can become playable at a moment's notice (yes i'm including currently JP-only releases). like, holy shit, even the bosses became playable. i guess my one choice for this game is Mika, from Fiore's Traveler Story? it's a great story by itself, but Mika just adds so much to it, i adore her, i wish she was playable. c'mon, y'all made Partitio a Bare-Fisted Monk, you can make Mika playable!
- Octopath Traveler II (for the sake of this, i will completely consider Guest Star Party Members to be "playable", just to make things harder):
- Juvah is a fun master to Ochette, and he actually acts serious, woah.
- Malaya is SUPER interesting as a character, and holy SHIT she adds so much to Castti's story, i LOVE her
- Trousseau is SO good as a foil to Castti, omg, i love him so much, poor lil baby boy
- Marietta is really interesting to analyze, even if she doesn't do much in the story proper.
- Lady Clarissa is honestly SUPER good as a complement to Osvald, and they're both great examples of how differently people deal with grief
- Papp Yellowil, Partitio's father, is just such a nice dad, and... god the extra backstory you get from Inquiring/Scrutinizing/Bribing/Coercing him just... adds so much to him, i love him
- ORI. Ori is genuinely one of the BEST NPCs in the ENTIRE game. her arc is SO fucking good, holy SHIT she's amazing, genuinely one of my FAVORITE characters of all TIME, and that's a damn HONOR, ORI
- oh my god, Partitio's story deserves more than two! his story is amazing! Alrond is so good as a silly little rich boy, but manages to be a GOOD rich boy! with common sense! you don't see that around often!
- Pala is such a silly little sister to Agnea, but she really is an amazing character. her post-game side quest only adds to that.
- Gil, oh my god, Gil. he is just... such a shining example of how to write a good character in the slums, and writing their way out of the slums.
- damnit i can't say Crick— UH
Ort Edgeworth! sure, him
while he's not exactly Crick, the game sure does try to put him in his place, and... honestly, i can appreciate him. he's great at being... an honorable knight. - Roi, despite showing up physically in one cutscene, is a TREASURE TROVE of possibilities.
- Tsuki, despite dying in the very first chapter, has an impact that's... really not felt anywhere else in the game, honestly. it's a subtle one, but it's still there, for sure.
- Mikka, oh my god, MIKKA IS SO CUTE. i love her SO MUCH. i would do so MUCH for her
- Alpates is... really weird? like, i'm not saying that's bad, i'm saying she's unique, and that's honestly great.
- Al is such a fuckin' weird character when trying to make a timeline for this game and the previous one, and honestly, that's why he's up here.
if i had to pick ONE... well, it's obvious, isn't it?
the title of my absolute favorite NPC in all of the Octopath Traveler series has to go to Ori. she's just so well-written, and her character arc is superb, and... i love her. i genuinely love her so much.

Favorite non-playable character from the Octopath Traveler games?
I'm sure it was something from the Grapple Dog soundtrack, which I was listening to a couple of days ago, but I can't remember which specific song was the last.

Use multiple controllers in games to have characters do silly stuff like jam to music or jump around or see how similar move set clones are in terms of animation similarities.

While I don’t have any personal opinions about regarding social media, I feel like the internet as a whole has pretty much rot a lot of people’s brains especially, children. Also, this has been said many times before but not everyone needs a platform or become famous on the web, there’s multiple examples of how that went wrong for many people.

hit me up on MSN messenger! ;DFavorite villain(s) in the Spider-Verse movies?
Tie between Olivia Octavius and the Spot. I like Olivia's character design, specifically the fact that they make her look more like a real octopus than most versions of Doc Ock, with her beehive hairdo, rubbery tentacles instead of metal ones, etc.
For the Spot, I like how he's a Not-So-Harmless Villain with a strong balance of silliness and scariness.
TBH, I would like a Mega Primarina to lean more towards Popplio's circus aesthetic than Primarina's mermaid aesthetic, but maybe that's just me.

Haven't played even the original, but I'd reckon I would make some story-focused one.
