Tessa - Van - Living Room

"Owwwww...." Tessa grumbled as she fell onto the floor. But what had she hit? The wall wasn't nearby, and it's not like - uh oh.

Apparently she had run into a girl with silver fox ears who had been carrying some massive metal contraption.

"OH MY GOSH!" she shouted, then crawled over on her hands and knees towards Kawa until she was close enough to try helping to pull her out from under the metal thing by grabbing her shoulder. "I'm so sorry, I'm so embarrassed, I'm sorry, sorry, I'm sorry...."

Gwen - Dealing with Devils; Van, Storage

So, less Faust or Deadite, more Doom.

Gwen nodded along with Lady's explanation. "Yeah, Demons back home are way different. The less powerful ones are pretty tough, but they're smarter than yours. While the big guys, like Dormammu or Mephisto, they're really powerful, but they have tons of rules they have to follow, so they have to make deals and manipulate people to get what they want."

The heroine frowned, and sighed.

"And yeah, I know. Deals with the devil are dumb. Some people are just desperate enough to hope it won't bite them in the ass." Her expression turned dark as she looked down at the floor, her voice suddenly gaining a tremble of anger. "And then sometimes some asshole manipulates things so that good people who'd never do a deal with the devil are forced to."

Screw Joe Quesada. Screw him so damn hard. 'Married people are boring' my ass.

Griffith, Idle Commentary, Main Room

"I quite like it. It reminds me of home." He mused when one of the vampires commented on the sheer number of people populating the van. Of course, back home it was never quite as... wacky.

"You've got this uncanny talent to bump into attractive women wherever you go, Tessa. First Miss Crowe, then Miss... Kawakaze, was it?" He asked as he approached the pile, offering some assistance to pull the boat girl out from under her own rigging.

Puru - Storage - Disrespect Your Elders

Puru wasn't really paying attention to all of the talk of magical bullet generating powers. She was trying to focus on pretending not to notice the Gundam in the room. A certain old lady decided that she wasn't allowed to do that apparently. The young girl gripped her gun tighter, knuckles turning nearly white as she just glared ahead. "Leave me alone." she muttered, hopefully loud enough for Maria while not loud enough for the Gundam. It wasn't doing anything for now and she wanted to keep it that way.

Kawakaze Living Room

Kawakaze was quickly pulled out from the bottom of the pile even if she was trying to work on that before hand herself, "Its fine, its not any use to be upset or sorry.... neither of us could really see where we were going", she replied to Tessa before noding to Griffith "That is my designation yes", she pointed to where her name "江風" was marked on her little wave rider like device... doing her best to ignore the comment about attractiveness.

Santa, #DELAYED
Either Santa just stood there, staring at Astolfo for about a minute or so while Astolfo stared her right back in the eye and neither said anything, or this is kind of out of place in time. Please choose your preferred option before reading.

"...Ah, so just like my son, you happen to be yet another alternate to the norm," Santa said, satisfied with the revelation. "Strange, how everyone is familiar, and yet a complete stranger nowadays."

"I will keep it brief," Santa said, "while I happened to be passing over in my sleigh one year, you and some others decided that it was in your best interest no longer. That is, you shot me down with that cannon. And then I fought everyone involved except for you, because you were late to the fight."

Crow's Nest

"Why would I mind?" Peering back up towards Mordred with a slight smile from behind her framed lens, the innocent researcher couldn't help but let out a small chuckle as a perfectly content expression was displayed. "You have been nothing but courteous and respectable this entire evening, Sir Mordred." There was an innocence and trusting atmosphere emanating from the biodroid that most adults would never be able to show in front of people that had been complete strangers just hours ago, but to 21 such a feat was as easy and natural as breathing.

"If anything, I feel even more guilty that I have naught to give in return for your favors. Please, if there's anything I can do for you, please let me know." Quietly but earnestly wording her request while enjoying the overall situation in a rare moment of eased contentment, 21 indulged in her brief moment of selfishness that struck her. Truly it was wonderful to feel actual human warmth once more... enough to make 21 wish for the moment to never end.

Servant Talk

"Such is the lot of Servants. I wouldn't be surprised if there were multiple versions of the same person running around at this point." Shrugging his shoulders and casually tempting fate with the sort of practiced ease that only someone who was completely fearless to the consequences could, the Rider then rubbed this chin thoughtfully as the exposition about the Christmas time warzone came forthwith.

"Hmm... that does sound like me. I DO tend to get separated from the main group to have my own adventures every now and then... Though a Grail War taking place at Christmas does sound rather fun. Especially if cannons are involved. Maybe they wanted to stop you because you were a bad Santa that withheld presents for the good boys and girls? Or just plain broke into people's homes to eat their offerings for the real Santa." Mind wandering around in a drunken stupor, the pink haired paladin babbled on like the loon he was.

Kitchen

Deciding that there was probably nothing better to do at the moment than engage in some old-fashioned physical activity if he didn't want to just stand around and listen to other people be weird to each other, the martial artist pondered for a moment before staring down at his grumbling stomach that gurgled at him with a demanding warble. "Well, martial arts cooking time it is."

Wandering over to the bathroom to turn on the water and coming back out as a female (it was easier to cook as a girl for an eighties kid), the pigtailed martial artist rummaged around for pots and pans before jabbing her fingers at the food making machine to create the raw ingredients needed. Though it was handy to just create crafted meals, those also tended to be rather average in taste and method as well as lacking that personal touch. "Lessee... something easy to make..."

Grabbing a kitchen knife, the redhead then began to chop away at onions and garlic while the sesame oil was heating up, ensuring that there was a generous pile of finely diced ingredients were stored away once done. Tossing in the aromatics with a sizzle and stirring it around the wok with practiced motions, the girl then plucked a handful of sesame seeds to intensify the overall smell even further, Ranma couldn't help but smirk as she used her free hand to whisk away at a bowl of eggs.

"Cooking is like martial arts, gotta know the best way to continue the flow of motion and not waste any movements." Concentrating on two simultaneous actions with both hands, egg was then tossed in the sizzling oil to somewhat solidify under the high heat before rice with chopped pork meat and fish cake was dumped in. Proper fried rice would have required day old grains that had a chance to dry out somewhat so it could soak in the overall flavors that was what the martial artist had specified.

Ladle now in grasp, Ranma then simply began to shake the utensil in sudden jerking arcs so that the ingredients repeatedly went on a loop between heated wok and the cooler air so as to not burn anything while enveloping the individual rice grains with the flavorings. Though the overall time to prepare wasn't all that long, it still required a good amount of motor skills as well as endurance to take on both the sweltering heat and heavy cast iron weight that had to be repeatedly shaken with only one arm. "But that's why it's good training. Old Ghoul may have been in it for the free labor but I can't deny it helps out. And I pretty much jacked most of her non-kooky recipes anyways."

Chuckling while turning off the heat, Ranma then scooped out a plate of piping hot fried rice to admire the overall handiwork, the martial artist stretched out her arms for a bit before grabbing a porcelain spoon to take a bite after blowing on it. "Still ain't as good as the Cat Cafe or Kasumi but still pretty damn good." Pleased that it was acceptable, the girl leaned back and enjoyed the fruits of her labor. "Anyone else want some feel free." Sharing was caring after all.

Hug Mode Initiated, Azura Protocol Activated

Hearing the heartbeat going steady and the more dour of the two Azuras still in fine health, relief flooded Corrin's body as she gave looks of thankfulness to those who helped. "You have my deepest gratitude, everyone." Now much more cheerful, the queen continued her hands-on experience and simply threw the songstress over her shoulder in a fireman carry since it was clear she didn't want to get up by herself. "Don't worry, I'll ferry you about." Making her way on over to Goodzura, the queen similarly looked her over and tried to help her onto her feet as well. "I don't know what I would do without you both."

Sayaka: Van, Kitchen

Sayaka listened to Tucker's outburst with increasingly raised eyebrows. How doting, that he would so carefully consider the ramifications of her abilities on her social life. Hearing all that, it was quite obvious how his brain spun; Sayaka had to supress a smirk. Truly, birds of a feather flock together. When Tucker finished his discourse, Sayaka nodded sagely in agreement with everything he had said.

"Being a magical girl isn't the easiest life. Luckily, I've already got the whole 'significant other' thing covered."

She winked. It was scandalous.

"And yeah, you're right. I've been around before- not hundreds of years, no, but then again it's hard to tell. However!" And here Sayaka raised a deliberate finger to emphasise the point. "Last time I went on one of these trips, half of my friends got slaughtered by a mad god. So pray it doesn't turn out like that."

She shrugged, like it wasn't much of a deal.

"Otherwise, I think this'll be fun. Right Tetra?"

But her attention was clearly no longer in the conversation. As Ranma cooked up a storm in the kitchen, Sayaka found herself inexorably drawn towards the smell of home-made fried rice. The magical girl never heard what Tetra said, but turned back sheepishly towards the two and jerked a thumb in Ranma's general direction.

"I'm not about to pass up on free food. You guys want to come on over?"

Tenko Chabashira - Storage

"Still, we should at least respect what little privacy we have." Tenko almost mutter in response to Gwen's comment before the heroine went to talk with Lady. Their conversation was about demons, guns, and gunning demons, none of which the former Killing Game participant was familiar with.

She thus decided to go somewhere else for the time being. She send her goodbye to Gwen with a wave. "Well anyways, I'm gonna get something to eat. Later." She then ran off toward the kitchen.

Tenko Chabashira - Kitchen

Said kitchen was quite crowded, mostly by people the young martial artist hadn't met yet. Before she could wonder if they were also newcomers, her attention was grabbed by Ranma, the adorable redhead from earlier. Said girl just cooked fried rice and offered anyone in the room to partake in it, which made her even more desi... admirable in Tenko's eyes than before.

She thus excitedly sprinted toward counter while cheerily greeting her fellow martial artist. "Hey, Ranma! Where have you been?" Upon arriving just before it, she followed her greeting with a question. "I met a guy who claimed to be your brother, and I was wondering if you can confirm that for me." She stil wasn't about to trust what that wall-climbing degenerate said without confirmation, after all.

She hten noticed. another young girl that seemed to be interested in the food. Always happy to meet a potential friend, the aikido master held out a hand toward her. "And nice to meet you, too. My name's Tenko Chabashira, what's your?" Tenko decided to wait until the girl and her friends served themselves before tasting the rice, as she didn't want to be rude. Tough she of course had no doubt about whether food prepared by such a cute girl wold be delightful.

Velvet (Living Room)-Administering discipline

Velvet could not help but facepalm as it was explained what Astolfo had done to anger this person. As he started babbling and insulting her more, Velvet reluctantly removed herself from the wall and started walking over. True, just letting this person beat the crap out of him might be acceptable, and if she really wanted to Velvet was not going to stop her, but it would be a pain in the ass if Astolfo was seriously injured. Not to mention this could be a chance to have some very satisfying payback on him for all the annoyance he gave her.

Thus, Astolfo would suddenly find his master attempting to grab him by the ear. If she pulled it off, she would yank it hard.

"Stop. Talking. Most of my social skills died 3 years ago, and even I can see that you're digging yourself into a hole with you damn mouth. You are going to apologize to Author-"

She took a moment to double check the gender of the other party. Yep, female. Weird. Not to mention that name, a little too close to her hated nemesis's name for comfort.

"-Author here for blowing whatever the hell a sleigh is out of the sky, and then being too slow for her to get proper payback on you. Or your copy, whatever, I honestly don't care. Apologize, or I'll make sure you're sorry."

Tessa - Living Room - Van

"And you have the uncanny ability to only approach cute girls when they've helplessly fallen to the ground so that you can put your hands on them while offering to help them up," Tessa said to Griffith with a sneer, as she adjusted the tie on her naval uniform so that it was properly in place.

With all of that said, she put a comforting arm on Kawakaze's shoulders.

"Are you okay? Do you want a glass of water? Or maybe you want to lie down for a minute?" she asked, concerned. "Huh... Kawakaze, was it? That's a ship name from World War II. Sorry, that was weird, it's just that I've studied just about every naval battle I could get information on and it's not like it's a common name where you just go down the street and you're like, oh, hey Mrs. Kawakaze how's the weather. Ummm.... okay I'm done talking now."

Max, Kitchen

There was a lot of pressing silence as far as Susan was concerned, only broken by Ranma's announcement that there was some rice available. He hadn't realized it, but Max was actually kind of hungry. He didn't quite have compunctions about drinking on an empty stomach - he was planning to let it hit him today - but it just wasn't the same without something to eat. If there was rice, it would be rude not to try some.

Putting the bottle of green death away for now, the large cyborg approached the commotion around Ranma, taking note of some new faces. Lots of teenaged girls around this place, huh. "That looks pretty good. Thanks, I'll indulge." He nodded in thanks, idly taking notice of the girl with the bowtie in her hair. Now that she mentioned it, there seemed to be two conspicuously similarly dressed teens with the same hairdo running around the van. Never two of them however. Was Ranma just playing a practical joke on everyone by pretending to be a woman (or a man)? Hm. Probably best not to dwell on it. As such, Max's attention turned elsewhere.

"Are you three newcomers?" He asked, looking between Sayaka, Tenko and Tetra. A rhetorical question. Or maybe it wasn't. They were pretty spread out during their stay in Val Habar. "Hope the place's to your liking, such as it is."

Griffith, Main Room

"Well that's a bold-faced lie if I've ever heard one." Despite his words, Griffith didn't seem particularly upset with Tessa. She was likely nervous that things just weren't working out for her. First Velvet, now this... "I assure you, I am better behaved than that."

"In any case, there appears to be no harm done here." He smiled, nodding at Kawakaze. "My name is Griffith. It's a pleasure to meet you." Lo and behold, there was another hostile situation in the room; the Guts-woman was manhandling Astolfo for something he probably didn't do. "And you have no need for interfering, Miss Crowe. Let them take care of it themselves." He pointed out to the ever-peeved therion before gesturing briefly towards the evil saint. "I'm certain you are robbing our Santa off the enjoyment of doling out the punishment herself right now."

Maria, Storage

To her credit, the old crone lowered her tone as well. "You're not going to do much long as Mr. Amuro is around and about. Why not just get it over with?" She offered a reassuring smile, but stayed her hand and turned towards the shooting range. Odds were Puru would snap and try shooting her if she tried. "I assure you that he does not mean you harm, and if he were to suddenly lose his mind, we will put a swift end to his madness. You've no reason to fear."

Tetra - Mad Gods and Grub

("Mad god, huh...?") Tetra pondered to herself, unable to stop herself from thinking of the adversary she and Link faced atop that flooding tower years ago. If he'd succeeded in his plans, then...no, it was best not to think about that. ("Still, she's dealt with magic before...guess I got someone I can turn to. If she can fight.")

Tetra's inner musings ground to a halt, however, as she both smelled the food being prepared, and at Sayaka calling attention to it. "Yeah, I'm there. Maybe all the demon people will have left by now." Tetra made to follow Sayaka, and helped herself to a portion of it; one hesitant bite became many ferocious bites, as the pirate captain began devouring her share in mere seconds, barely acknowledging Max's presence by just nodding fiercely as she ate.

Puru - Storage

"You're not going to do much long as Mr. Amuro is"

Anything else the old lady had to say at this point was completely lost on the young girl. Her facade of training with her raygun was gone as she whirled around to face the old Hunter. "Did you just say Amuro!?" she barked out loud, the shock of this revelation blowing any ideas of subtlety out of her head. When it came to Gundams, there was only one Amuro that could possibly come to mind. The Federation's White Shooting Star, the first Gundam pilot to single-handedly turn the tide of war. There was no way that it could a coincidence that the Gundam in the room just happened to be named Amuro. Puru wasn't that lucky.

The young Newtype looked up at Maria with wide, frightened eyes. Trying to scan her face or body language for any sign that she was lying or messing with the girl. But why would she? How would this old crone even know about the legendary pilot if not directly from the machine in the corner?

Alicia - Kitchen

Water, salt and oil had joined the flour, and by now Alicia had her bowl tucked under one arm as she stirred, keeping hand an eye on the rest of the kitchen. There was some sort of commotion over where Ammy was chatting with the decidedly drunk-looking fingers-lady, but the general background chatter of the crowded room helped mask what was actually being talked about.

Should she wander over and see what was going on? Before she could come to a decision, a distraction presented itself - the girl with red hair returned and began cooking at the kitchen counter next to her own flour-marked space. Alicia's stirring grew steadily slower as she watched, eyes wide with amazement and possibly some mild horror.

"Where in the world did you learn to cook like that?" She piped up, once the girl set out a plate of some sort of spiced rice dish. The aromas were unfamiliar, but tantalizing all the same, especially once her stomach reminded her that the last thing she'd eaten had been morning rations. Alicia, however, steeled her self and instead turned out her dough onto the floured counter and began to knead. Once it was rising she could go eat. Abandoning a loaf half-finished would just be a waste, after all.

"Not just the three of them." She told the frankly enormous man with... metal skin? "I'd say your reinforcements today number at least ten."

Noire- Van, Kitchen

Taking a bit of fresh air, Noire realized that she didn't eat yet. That was an error on her part, and, scolding herself for it, she decided to head to the kitchen, where two things hit her: 1.) New people her age, and 2.) That smells really good. Like, even beyond not having eaten in close to 24 hours, wow.

She went over and grabbed some of the fried rice (given Ramna's near there, did they make it? She's kinda impressed, didn't think they had it in them), and went over to the seat with the girls.

"Do you mind if I sit here?"

Magilou- Bar

"Well, normally I'm all one for breaking down barriers," Magilou responded to Tira, "But unfortunately my magic here is inherent to my being, as a Seraphim Witch. Heck, only reason I'm guessing half of you are seeing me is some jargon from the people who took us here in the first place. Sucks, I know, would make the journeying with the Shepherd a whole lot easier, but sometimes, whatcanyado?"

That is a good question... what did they modify? She'll have to ask.

Jeanne Alter- Van, Living Room

"... Oh, what is it now?"

The Platinum-Blonde Avenger looked around the all too familiar room, wondering how her master puts up with all the spontaneous rayshifting. It wasn't a room unfamilar to her, though.

Recounting her experiences with the place... last she left off she was with an Astolfo ("an", what a odd, and yet somewhat unnerving statement), a man in armor, and some sort of witch girl fighting kidnappers and a giant crab. Then she returned to Chaldea, and chalked it up as a dream. Maybe not "bad", perse, but not something she desired to do again, thank you.

Of course, fate/destiny/random scientist people had other plans. She sighed. Annoying, but she'll have to make do for now. Not too different from any of the other times she had to deal with Singularities, or stopping them from forming, or any other shenanigans the last bastion of insanity could get itself into. Just no master, and a different bunch of faces to work with.

Well... mostly different. As she looked around the room, she couldn't help but notice an all-too familiar face chatting with Astolfo and... oh, is that their master? Someone that has to keep him in line, at least. Of course, that was second to the other platinum-blonde, yellow eyed girl in a black outfit, this time in Santa flavor. What was she doing here?

"Oh my, how ironic." She said as approached the gathering of Riders (and other girl). "When you get whisked away to fairytale land or whatnot, the last thing you expect is a familiar face."

Kawakaze - Living Room

Kawakaze just kept shaking her head no to each of the questions, not really needing water, nor wanting to rest at the moment. "You have caused any damage, or it is at least beneath my notice..." ,she said to her as she went down her list of questions trying to quell her duress.... and then she hit the last bit. "No, that is me, a Class B1 Submarine" ,she replied to her, not quite understanding that that probaly wouldn't mesh up with the traditional history of her being a shiratsuyu-class destroyer. The fox followed with a query, "I was in Ironbottom sound where I managed to sink Northhampton.... that is history to you?"

Griffith's part however made her take note of Astolfo being manhandled causing her to take a deep breath, "Its never going to be quite around here is it.... people are just going to keep expending energy over things that don't mater..."

Amuro - Van, Storage.

The gundam let out a sigh, and turned to look over in Puru's direction. Her reaction and shouting had only confirmed what he suspected. Someone that surprised in that way to hear his name could only be a member of Zeon, a federation citizen would either not have bothered or come over to speak with him. This was going to get annoying depending on how close she was with other members of the crew and if she had already spread propaganda on what life was like back home. On the other hand she was obviously just a teenager, and looked to be even younger than he was when he had climbed into the gundam. His stomach would be turning now if he still had one. Had Zeon sunk so low as to stick children like her into the cockpits of their mobile suits?

Unrelated to his personal disgust with the space nazis though, he needed to nip this current situation in the bud before someone started trying to shoot him or Puru had a panic attack. So in one of his less intelligent moves, Amuro began to walk over towards Puru.

Tessa - Van - Living Room

"No it was struck by Oyashio... but you're a... you're a... you. Are. A. Submarine!?" Tessa gasped, taking a step back from Kawakaze to look her up and down.

"But you're... you're a girl... and a submarine... and I'm a submarine captain heh... heeeeeeee.... haaaa... oh wow, okay, wow, ha, yeah, I'm a submarine captain and you're a submarine, what are the odds of that happening... to us... here... now.... What are the odds?"

She absentmindedly had her hands drift up to her ponytail, playing with the braid as she stammered out her assortment of jumbled-up words.

"I mean, I mean, hi! I'm Tessa! I'm glad to meet you!"

Sayaka: Van' Kitchen

Sayaka looked up from her steaming bowl of fried rice at the proffered hand, then at the girl who proffered it. Medium height, strong build, no weapons: hand to hand combat specialist? Also ridiculously long hair; but then Sayaka knew Kyouko, so it was nothing to gawp at. The magical girl shook the hand, and smiled, and then kept on smiling. At last, when the handshake had long since decayed into awkwardness, Sayaka pointed to her mouth: of course, she was still chewing.

"Sayaka Miki," she said at last, gulping down the mouthful of rice. "Pleased to meet ya."

Sayaka kicked out a chair from under the table and patted it: 'please sit' was the intent. But she couldn't play host to Tenko for long, as the trio around the table were soon joined by Max; the senior dwarfing the three girls in size and taking up much of the table space. He dispensed with the pleasantries right away; no handshake for Sayaka, but she was done shaking hands for the day. The magical girl flashed her usual smile and gave him the customary once over: bulk; power armour, biological augmentation? Likely; no obvious weapons (he could sprout guns from his eyes for all she knew); old habits die hard, especially when they've been drilled into your head by an ex-Spectre.

"Yeah, I got here just a few minutes ago," Sayaka said to Max. "It's a bit different from living in a crystal city, but I've got no complaints so far."

Sayaka threw a cautious glance at Velvet, frowned, then turned back to Max.

"Anyway, I've been meaning to ask: how was the last mission?"

Sayaka then shovelled another spoonful of rice into her mouth and chewed.

Kitchen

"Glad ya guys liked that. And I pretty much picked it up after I traveled around China for the last ten years and after a brief stint as a waitress. When you're out and about in the wild most of the time, you gotta learn how to cook food unless you wanna be hit by stomachaches. The restaurant business was owned by a slave driver of a woman who wanted to catch customers with flashiness and stuff but it made for good training for the martial arts." Explaining to the soldier girl with a wink, Ranma then frowned as the memories of being bullied by a cackling pruned midget came in. 'No pain, no gain' probably applied right there as well as 'artists tended to suffer for their art'.

Shaking off those disconcerting thoughts to remembering that people quite liked what had sprouted from the fruits of those labors, Ranma was feeling pretty happy that her efforts hadn't gone to waste and that a couple of people were outright going to town on her food, the pigtailed girl took a bite... only to freeze the next moment as she saw Tenko show up yet again with a loaded question about her supposed degenerate 'brother'.

"W-well I do have a twin at least. And I was spending time here cooking for everyone... Decided it was high time for people to have a taste of home cooking I g-guess?" Suppressing her quiver and stammering, the pigtailed girl simply began to portion out a plate for Tenko as well. Even if the girl was pretty crazy, she still had the right to eat after all. "I-if you're hungry..." Probably a good distraction as well.

Santa, Living Room CHAOS
Santa was offended...nay, shocked, or at least as much as the altered one would ever let on, that Astolfo would even suggest such a thing! "I might be an Evil Santa," she said, "but I am a fair one, Rider of Black! You rode up to my sleigh and started speaking of violations of national airspace in your damnable griphon."

She'd go and upbraid him further, but it looks like Velvet was taking care of that very smoothly. Her scowl turned a little bit softer. It was somewhat pleasing to see Astolfo cowed like this.

"Artoria, by way of Santa Claus, Master of Astolfo. It is good to see that you have your servant in control." she more properly introduced herself with.

And right on time for even more servant shenanigans, another person who was much more deeply intertangled with Santa's history appeared. The false image of the saint, Jeanne.

"...Do as you please, Ms. Velvet. I'll be sure to be back, soon," she said to Crowe as she turned to face her...friend, let's go with that.

"Irony? Jeanne, I'm surprised," Santa said, smugger than ever, "you hardly seem happy to see me."

Insane Troll Logic

"Why should I apologize for whatever this other Astolfo did? That'd be the same as another Velvet showing up in the van and you having to apologize for how she ate someone!" Yelping as his ear was being pulled, the paladin shook his clenched fist at the departing Santa. "And I'll have you know my loyal mount is a hippogriff, thank you very much! Owowowow!"

Squirming around while generally making a huge ruckus and flailing his arm about wildly, the slayer of heathens looked for all the world like a naughty child... before he suddenly stopped with wide open eyes at the sight of yet another Servant. "Oh hey, it's Jeanne Alter! Welcome back! You look just as pale and brooding as ever! Man, what is with this place and all the Servants it's summoning? Are we really in that deep that we need all this firepower?"

Truly it was amazing how easily the youth changed track as he hummed thoughtfully and rubbed his chin. "Rider of Black. Rider Santa Alter. Saber of Red. Avenger Dragon Witch..." Muttering under his breath as the Servant tried to figure out what the heck was happening and if they really were entering the territory of needing all these Servants to even begin to fix the problem at hand, the boy then paused as he realized something important. "Why are we all Christian?" Truly a question for the ages.

Max, Kitchen

"Oh, sorry there." He muttered when Alicia made her presence known. "I've seen one of the new guys earlier, that talking flower with trappings of a psychopath. Still, ten new people? The van's already a powder keg of conflicting personalities and perpetually angry demons..." Max sighed, looking over to the main room. It looked like Santa decided to leave Astolfo to his (probably) ill-deserved fate.

"Max Caxton, BPS. Nice to meet you..." He made sure to give the kitchen a lookover. "Four? Four." Deciding that perhaps he was a bit much of a roadblock, the giant cyborg slowly shuffled back, opting to eat his portion leaning by the counter so that the others could sit down. "As for the last mission, we were hunting down a poacher by the name of Bullfango Bill. Took us some time, especially since an average animal back in Val Habar is fifteen feet long and has more teeth than a 'zerker mutant."

"If you want to come out and sightsee, there's still some time. Just dress for a desert climate."

Maria, Storage

It just so happened that this particular robot was apparently a boogeyman to Puru and her people. So much for trying to pretend nothing's wrong. "Quite. He is, in fact, making his way over here just now." Slowly, the old crone reached out to put her hand on the girl's shoulder. "Calm down, young one. You're safe here, and no ill fate will befall you." Then, she looked over to Amuro, her hand still staying where it was in an attempt to keep Puru calm(er).

"I see you've heard already, Mr. Amuro. I trust you come in peace." Maria said, voice like steel as she sized down the approaching Gundam.

Griffith, Main Room

It seemed that Santa was no longer interested in Astolfo, on account of another pale-skinned, yellow-eyed figure from earlier reappearing in the van. It seemed the two knew each other. "Such is human nature, or perhaps even mortal nature in general. We like to do things that seem counterproductive or even downright harmful to our benefit... and we do them just to spite those who tell them not to do them, or because we cannot quench our boredom otherwise."

Sypha had an important question. Griffith had a general idea - a boat that moved underwater - but to imagine it seemed improbable. Then again, the van too seemed like a folk myth not so long ago. "I second the question." He said, looking towards the Astolfo-Velvet situation now and then just in case he had to step in.
