"That'll do, shopkeep. That'll do." Ten percent off wasn't much by the regular scale of discounts but even mosquitoes had a bit of meat on them. She would take what was given rather than continue to haggle and lose what little advantage they had. Walking on over to the jam packed shopping cart the reminded her of the various shenanigans performed in the World of Gods, Momiji stared impassively at the bulk before nodding.
"It's everything on the list but not quantity wise. Still acceptable though and people should learn how to share and care for each other. Nice job, girl." Complimenting Sumireko with a thumbs up, the goddess then pointed over at her familiar. "When we're done paying for everything, give the items on over to Kumagai so he can stow it away." The bear demonstrated by dragging out a fishing rod from his stomach, showing off the impossible shenanigans involved with dimensions.
Reimu - Team White Flare (WTFLR)
Reimu decided not to reply to Tanya's comment about gods, as it was becoming clear that they had very different experiences with beings of faith, and this was not the time nor place for that discussion. The Baron raised a good point, however.
"You're right," the shrine maiden replied. "A deity may choose to hide their true nature for all manner of reasons. It's difficult to keep the illusion up, however. I will try again when we get back to the Tower, and see if I can pierce the deceit."
"Certainly."
Since Reimu's magical reserves had barely been touched, using a spell for such a purpose was no big deal. Raising her gohei to the skies, Reimu made a large white sphere of light materialize and start flowing upwards to mark their location.

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Guts - Before we get on, let's make these things worth me lugging them all the way here
Guts didn't board just yet. He lifted one of the two cannons he'd pilfered, studying it. Finding something akin to the trigger of a crossbow, as well as the giant hole where the projectile would come out of, Guts tucked the thing under his armpit and roughly aimed it at the Apocalypse tank. No guarantee he'd hit it, but fuck it, he took a detour to get these things and he was gonna make use of them.
"Here goes."
He pulled the trigger. If that went well, he'd follow Qrow's example and pick up the other, firing it as well. He didn't use the cannon in his arm, for he was familiar with its range, it had even less of a chance to hit.
Once the cannons were emptied, Guts would drop them like trash and board the ship proper.

Lillie looked over at all the things the older girl had brought over. For a moment or two she just stared at the haul blankly. Then she made a small and somewhat awkward smile.
"...Oh."
Then she listened to the others talk for a few moments, and frowned.
"So, um.... Do we need anything else?" She adjusted her grip on the cat food bag she found, giving Sabrina another grateful look for helping her carry it, "Is this cat food going to be good for anything?"

Kashira flashed a quick, grim smile at Claw.
"Pleasure to be aboard, captain. My thanks for the rope."
But after that, she had to turn back to the distant battle below. Judging by the burning wrecks of the steel war machines, Gaige and the others were fighting hard and actually winning thus far. Perhaps the other woman's estimate of her chances had not been so far off. But still, they could need a way out, and they needed to get things sorted out here first. Fortunately, it was at that moment the flare went up into the night, bright as day. But if they could see it, so could the enemy. They would have to move quickly. Although her shoulders twinged at the thought, Kashira never considered another option.
"There! Take us down, captain, but be ready to lift as soon as everyone and our cargo is aboard. I'll be up last. If anyone bleeds getting out of here, it'll be me."

Under a combined volley of fire, the Apocalypse tank only managed to fire a few last shots at Gaige's tank before it succumbed, the metal husk coming to a stop as its fuel began to burn off in a thick black cloud."You know, these things have more than one shot," a voice said behind Guts. It was the man he had freed earlier, holding the discarded flak cannon. With a hearty grunt, he pulled back the bolt on the weapon to prime another round, then gave a thumbs-up. What reason could he have had to return to Guts? Did he have a change of heart? Was he driven to offer his assistance to the swordsman? Was there a bond one could only form by offering assistance to a foe in a time of need, much like Androcles and the Lion?
"Some asshole lit a flare right in the fucking way I was going, I'm getting the hell away," he quickly commented to Guts before running south.
Black Forest
"Even if we can't eat it, I'm sure our Pokemon will enjoy getting to try something new," Lusamine said to Lillie with a smile. She patted the girl's shoulder and pointed at Kumagai. "But I think he can help you carry that out, why don't we ask?"Guts
The damned tank finally went up in smoke, if the thick plumes coalescing around it were any indication. Allowing himself a small grin, he patted the cannon that was still in his arms. Not too shabby, if he did say so himself.
Guts turned, having forgotten already who that voice belonged to, and was legitimately surprised to find the prisoner from before joining his rendezvous. The swordsman's scowl appeared, having been pre-programmed to be his response to strangers 'making nice' with him. But knowing that these fantastical future cannons could fire more than once without having to load another cannonball, simply requiring a pull of a strange contraption on its side? Almost worth it. He almost wanted to find something to test that out on (something fleshy this time, see how it could hold up against a run-of-the-mill Apostle), but he realized he'd have plenty of opportunity next time.
"Noted."
Still scowling as the prisoner explained why he came back, and even as he ran away once more, Guts felt the need to leave immediately without another word. No good would come out of associating with him. Still, for once...
"Hey."
Said before the prisoner could go completely out of sight, Guts hauled the flak cannon he was originally going to throw away onto his shoulder.
"Nice shot. And thanks for the tip."
With that out of the way, the swordsman finally headed to board the airship proper.
"Shake the dust." - Anis MojganiClaw, Huh
Well, that took care of that. Perhaps he gave the enemy force too much credit.
Still, now there was no conceivable reason to hang around the base. They got what they wanted, Gaige and her crew got to shoot some moving targets and they had their Kane, most importantly.
He took a moment to lower the Kirov for others to join them aboard if they so wished before heading the airship towards the flare, all in all satisfied with this little scrap.
Sabrina, Helping To Carry The Bag
"I agree with Lusamine... We can put the bag with the rest of the other stuff," Sabrina said and would carry the bag all the way over to Kumagai to store if Lillie helped her to do it.
Wizard Needs Food Badly"I'll leave the handling of the target for one of you strapping young men. As it is, my physical strength isn't powerful enough to move all this mass other than throwing the ice chunk like a missile and we can't make do with that approach." Finding the appearance of the airship to be both timely and masterful, the nervousness of being tied down without a proper way to move Kane fled. Floating on up to the vehicle proper, I entered before throwing a snappy salute towards the good captain. "Thank you for your efforts. Now if only the rest of the crew can make haste towards this location before the enemy responds to the flares..."
Heavy - Not So Giant Now
The giant saw the gargantuan tank burning as the crew inside were being cooked alive. The Heavy laughed heartily, "Not so giant now, tiny tank!" He looked to the bald man and the girl, Patches and Gaige, "We make good team!" Now, it's time to go home with Kane in tow and with only the stragglers to worry about, if they were stupid enough to try that is. The sight of the wrecked tank brought a proud smile, but he figured that it would not compare the look on Kane's face before he shoves it into the lock, vengeance for his father and justice for his family and people. At least in this universe that is.
"I treasure every day with you, darling." "No need to be so sappy, love." "You know that's how she is, Nia." - AU!Pyra, Nia, Mythra"Alright, nice!" Gaige would give each member of her tank crew a hi-hive. "Way to go, team! In your face, stupid elf!"
As she said this, she steered her tank over to the waiting rope that the blimp had extended.
"Alright, this is the last stop, men! Time to get out of here before they sent anyone else. As the captain of this vessel, I shall be the last to leave, and make sure no one else can use this by throwing a live grenade inside it as we leave! Now, out!"
She waved her party out of the tank and up the rope, waiting until both had left and gotten clear before she threw a grenade inside of it and followed them up the rope.
In the end, my efforts were for naught. It took me some time to locate suitable enough weapons to take on the steel giants the enemy had sent against us, and more time for me to work out how to use them. By the time I emerged with two of these "Rocket launchers", one under each arm, the steel giants were all slain. With my efforts now not needed, I dropped the weapons and released my hold on the magic keeping the thrall I had sent toward the tanks, before walking over to a rope that led to some flying vessel one of the team had claimed and beginning my climb.

He returned Gaige's request for a firm, brotherly handshake (that's what she wanted, right?) and got out of the tank and up the rope leading to the incredible flying machine. After everything, it wasn't that surprising, so Patches shrugged, strapped his gun onto his back, and started climbing up.
She wondered briefly about how her cat was doing back at her parent's house. That thing's older than she was, but it was hardy. Hold on, kitter, Sumireko will be back for you.
Shopping went by like a drug-fueled haze as the mind-numbing part of actually purchasing this cavalcade of camping crap went by without much problem. A few wayward glances as some of the items were checked out, especially considering the people buying it consisted entirely of strange foreign women, but what do you know, when you're ready to buy that much stuff they hardly care who you are.
With the long and arduous journey at its end, all that was left was to load off shit into their little bear dude. Sumireko did a half-assed job to make sure that people weren't looking, and silently levitated off one of their many finds from the pile.
"Hey...what's the biggest thing you can fit into him?" she asked the group's resident hobo. "I can get this done quick."
"Normally I can fit in an entire train car buuuuuuuut... some sort of strange law has been passed on my and Kumagai's person. Right now the best he could manage is a particularly large closet's worth of space. So we could probably stack all that in." Looking at all the junk that Sumireko had, Momiji unzipped her familiar to take out what appeared to be a bundle of shovels. "Alright, someone get the army guy to pay for all this so we can start shoveling in stuff."
Black Forest Department Store
Lillie happily went with Sabrina to store the cat food inside the small bear. She had absolutely no idea how it worked, but she really wasn't going to question it. Once the bag was finally out of her hands one way or the other, she started breathing heavily for a few moments as she recovered from carrying all that weight around.
"Should we...." she said in between breaths, "Get another.... Bag or not...?"
Once she recovered, and regardless of the response, she just fell into silence as the others finished up their shopping, instead choosing to keep an eye on Nebby just to make sure it didn't wander off on them.
"...Um, is there anything else we should do while we're here?" she asked once it was all said and done, before giving the bundle of shovels a somewhat confused look, "...Did the professor say anything about how long the others were going to take...?"
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!Sabrina, Black Forest Department Store
"I... think... we're fine," Sabrina replied to Lillie in regard of another bag as she caught her breath as well after helping Lillie with that bag. "We've got... enough... cat food."
Wizard Needs Food BadlyEventually Asgore returned carrying a plastic bag filled with plush toys and immediately noticed all the stuff Sumireko had with her.
"Golly, you really got everything in there," he said, quite surprised but also feeling a little concerned now, "I have to wonder just how expensive all of that is going to be, that seems like a bit much."
Claw, Conductor Of This Air Train
"Doing all I can, really." He replied to Tanya with a slight shrug.
"That everyone?" The captain looked around the people present on-board. It seemed to be the case. Claw adjusted the altitude of the airship, overlooking the smouldering corpses of tanks. It was still quite amazing for him that they have managed to triumph over these steel carriages.
Without further ado, he moved the blimp forward, towards the flare signal where the rest of their group was.

Weiss—Team BWTRF
Weiss looked at Remimu as she used her magic to use a flare. She used a glyph to jump at the blimp, that was being driven by captain Claw, just next to Tanya.
Once inside. She took her scroll to contact Qrow with a text message." We already got kane. Look up. Try not to get behind."
"I wouldn't want Ruby's uncle to get behind, " she thought to herself.

After the two groups met and got into the airship, and all signs of pursuit were gone, the clearing finally appeared a short distance up ahead."Air transport ready," a man said over the radio. "NightHawk reporting in. Need a lift?"
Despite not appearing on the Kirov's radar, a half-dozen heavy tandem-rotor helicopters descended into view, barely visible in the moonlight. They landed silently on the ground, with an armed soldier stepping out of each one to facilitate onboarding for anyone who needed help. One of the helicopters had a medic standing ready in case anyone needed medical attention.
"Why don't you folks just go ahead and get on in here before the Ivans notice?"
With the arrival of the flying machine, The Kid once again lifted the ice block into his shoulder as he moved onto it. Taking the impromptu job as the guard for it, he stuck close as the machine flew towards their destination.
A silent trip soon found them in a clearing, met by working versions of the same machine the young soldier had spied in Einstein's workshop. Lifting Kane once again, he made his way towards the machines and nodded at the soldier as he entered one of the helicopters.
Guts, Airship -> Clearing
Silently stepping on board the familiar flying construct, the Black Swordsman hefted with him the flak cannon he'd brought along and attempted to find a nice corner to sit in. He had to do another check on his arsenal, not to mention get a little peace and quiet before the orange drab court jester would no doubt ruin it.

Heavy - We Make Good Team
The giant saw his allies wrecking the tanks and anti-air and laughed. Now, there was only one thing standing in the way: the Apocalypse Tank. He aimed for the tank as it moved through the south wall. He didn't care what they said about retreating with Kane in tow: the bastard must die.
