Back To The Tower

The series of events that transpired after KOS-MOS and Reimu got to work was quick and swift. Sadly Claw had no time to say his goodbyes to Myrdin - who, despite the pirate's earlier suspicions, proved an honest and helpful man - but it seemed there were new attractions prepared from them; a whole new group of people for them to interact with.

First order of things; the bald man who has expressed the familiar perplexion upon hearing D.va. This one seemed like a smart man. "You might want to get used to this, governor." He greeted the baldy with a nod. "Has the Locksmith sent you as well?"

And then some little creature with a pet lizard seemed to recognize him as his kin? Well, he had never seen such a scruffy rodent in his life. "You're the one showing up out of the blue, goodfellow." Nevertheless, good has been achieved and they were on their way to the next level of the tower. All in all, a good experience.

Jousuke - outside the gates

"Dammit Koishiiii!"

As the surge of magic delivered the climbers back to the tower, two familiar faces appeared with the others - a highschooler with impressive hair and a very frilly girl. Unlike the others, however, the duo materialised mid-step, running full tilt towards the tower doors.

"Wha- wooah!" Jousuke's brain caught up with the fact that the cobbled street he had been running down was now a familiar grassy clearing. His legs took a little longer to come to terms with this new reality, but with a less than dignified sequence of stumbling and flailing he managed to skid to a halt before crashing into the ground or any of the other climbers. Bending forward with his hands on his knees, Jousuke tried to catch his breath.

"Hah- I don't know how- we did it, but - we made it!"

Weiss Schnee—Schrodinger's Forest-Tower—Familiar Faces.

The huntress got a few moments to contemplate lady in front of her. Everything about Lusamine showed grace and beauty. The White of her clothing was shining white; a symbol of purity. In a way it reminded her of her sister Winter. Lusamine wouldn't be out of place in a fancy party from her father. That jewel below her chin was a beautiful match that made her eyes shine brighter. She might try an outfit like that later on.

Her hair was gorgeous. True it was shaped in an almost impossible shape. Weiss had to glance at it twice just to be sure it was real. "Finally someone that understands the importance of class. Yang could definitively take some lessons from her ," Weiss thought to herself.

Perfect! for a moment I though I was going to be surrounded by amateurs.Weiss pondered to herself as she got to know the Pokémon trainer better.

"A pleasure Lusamine," she said to the blond Pokémon trainer. She put her hands in her hips. "Of course, those "Pokémon" creatures of yours have an elegance that Grimm would never hope to have." Weiss raised an eye brow when the Pokémon trainer said she didn't have a semblance. "Are you sure? Maybe it has another name in your world. It's an special power that comes from your soul and it —"

But then a voice was heard behind her. A familiar voice. Could it be? She opened her eyes wide open. Her pupils became smaller. Weiss turned around with a slow pace. That smug-stupid smile, that unkempt facial hair, that arrogance. There was no doubt of who he was.

"You!" She crossed her arms and then she frowned at Qrow." You were the crazy man that fought my sister, Winter! "—She pointed a finger at him menacingly—You're Ruby's uncle, Qrow. You were lucky Ironwood saved you in that fight or my sister would've humiliated you."

The Schnee gave Qrow her back while still crossing her arms.

"Believe it or not there are things that I care more than money. For your information, I'm here to restore the name of family." She raised a closed fist in the air. "When I get that treasure, when I go back home, everyone will know that I can look out for myself, that I can earn things by my own hand." The huntress kicked the ground below." Why are you here anyway?"

Kashira Lavellan - Meeting One's Heroes

Kashira looked crestfallen for a brief moment, a faint red tinge coloring her cheeks, before regaining some measure of equilibrium.

"Ah. I'm...sorry. I know what that's like. I didn't mean to upset you, but..." And then it all burst out again and she bowed deeply.

"It isn't just how you slew the archdemon that makes you a hero, not to me, at least. What you did for the elves of Ferelden and even elsewhere...we can never repay you, and it is both an honor and privilege to meet you. Var melava halani. Mala suledin nadas Halam'shivanas. Whatever some may think, the Dalish remember our greatest champion, as does all Thedas. Without your legacy, I...I don't know if I could have done what I did. I'm sorry, I'm rambling, but I don't have the right words. The best I can do is just to say thank you."

Claw

It seemed that the dusty old crow had some friends amongst the new crowd. Well, acquaintances, at the very least. The girl reeked of wealth and the typical high-and-mighty attitude the rich had, particularily when dealing with people of worse social standing.

"A friend of yours, Mr. Qrow?" He called the dusty old crow in question.

Tsutomu - Of Climbings and Introductions

The feeling of being thrust into a situation he never asked to be involved in welled back up in Tsutomu Senkawa. That feeling was something he was used to - ever since he technically "died" a few months ago, his life has taken a turn for the strange and unknown, traveling to worlds he never thought possible. However, this type of world - or "worlds" as the crinkled old man described this Tower as seemed to be the strangest thing yet that he had faced. As the man explained, he was chosen to climb this tower, traveling through different worlds along the way to get to the top. Reaching it meant that he could get anything he could desire.

The last part caught his attention the most. Maybe, just maybe he can get to have his body back. Separated from...

Switch bodies with me Tsutomu. I think I should give these people a piece of my mind... a voice rang out of his head. He turned away from the Gatekeeper for a minute.

"I don't think anything you can do will be much help. It looks like were trapped here." he answered back at the voice. He thrn looked at the others that were assembled with them. They all more or less wore the same confused looks and somewhat angry feeling they were feeling at the moment. "....Besides, it looks like other people are in the same boat as we are..." he added.

The voice groaned. What the hell are we doing here? How did we end up here? And a tower we have to climb? This just feels wrong... the voice answered him back. Tsutomu sighed. "I don't like it either, but if they say is true, this means we can finally have our bodies separate again. Which means, no mental fusion, no body switching, nothing." Tsutomu said. "It's what we both want right?"

....Right. But if we find ourselves in trouble, or if this turns out to be a setup, I'll be blaming you.

"Me? But we're in the same boat!"

Also, we're kinda running behind right now. That old geezer just gave us the order and everybody's leaving us here.

Noticing the portal in front of them, Tsutomu jumped and carefully made his way through, following behind the other Climbers.

On the other side, he stepped in a lavish forest area that was at sunset. He also noticed that there were a lot more people in this journey than he anticipated. He was taken aback by the large gathering.

Ah. Looks like there's more to this that we thought. This is gonna be a headache... she said as Tsutomu gathered himself. Looks as if they completed their mission already. Seems pretty pointless wanting us to go do a finished mission already.

"Well, how would I have known?" Tsutomu answered nervously. "I was simply following the lead..."

Well, good thing it's over. Saves us a lot of work and saves them from seeing the worst of me. she said with a chuckle.

"I'd hate for them to see that..." Tsutomu said dryly, as he simply stood around in the forest river area, shifting about uneasy.

Patches, Tower Gates
"Well, then, Jiji-nohree, if that's correct," Patches said with a smile back to D.Va. With such a strange group of people around him, someone's foreign platitudes really wouldn't bother him. Considering these people were from entirely foreign worlds, instead of just countries and continents distant from Lothric, it wouldn't be a surprise that some of them might speak oddly. Patches was hardly a scholar, but he didn't mind learning things about other cultures.

He took off his heavy pack and laid it on the ground beside him, stretching his shoulders and giving his back a rest. It was hardly a labor to carry it, but if everyone was standing around and congratulating themselves, no need to burden himself.

Looking back at D.Va, aside from the many other things that begged questions about her appearance, there was another odd item with a hole on it, this one tiny and black in comparison to the brute's giant contraption or the other tights-wearing girl's club. With even more people crowding around him carrying such things, he might want to figure out what he was being left out on.

He pointed at her waist, and asked "Mind if I ask what that thing is?"

Zazy (Outside portal)-Unexpected ease

I lingered a moment as the rest of those assembled left the tower, taking a moment to examine these beings, some human, some quite otherworldly, as they left. In time, I would need to learn about them, if only to know how best they might be used before being disposed of. But for now, a task awaited us. I moved to leave the portal...

Only to step outside to find the task was already done. It seemed these others that the locksmith had spoken of were not dead, as I had assumed. The two groups began to mingle, but I did not join in. My eyes were locked on these two blades we had been sent to fetch. I had not thought to think of the similarities at the time, although in retrospect it should have been quite obvious. Two swords, presumably notable ones to have been selected as keys. Powerful ones. The comparisons to the two sword of power that I knew of were.....striking, once I stood in their presence. I speak, of course, of Soul Edge and Soul Calibur, the two legendary blades of my world, powerful artifacts of light and darkness, said to be destined to oppose each other for eternity. And I did not need to call upon my magic to sense similar auras coming off of these blades.

I stepped forward, approaching the two holding the blades. The one holding the blade emanating dark energy was an absurdly young looking girl in a red dress. I could tell little else about her from a distance, as she was facing away from me. The other woman appeared to be a form of animated golem, not unheard of for me, although I only knew of one cult in Persia that had managed to successfully create one. However, where that one had been forged of meat and flesh, this one seemed to be made of a metal I was unfamiliar with.

I came to a halt behind the girl, and spoke, blade held behind me and ready to move quickly if need be. After all, I could not discount the possibility that this woman was possessed by the sword she held. "You take a grave risk, girl, wielding a blade of such dark power. I have some experience dealing with blades such as the one you now hold, and I find myself curious. If you still wield control over your senses, I would like to examine the blade with my magic. And I would ask this of you as well, golem."

Were they to hold out the blades and not try to impale me with them, I would then reach forward, finger extended, but halt before I touched the blade, and begin making motions with it, a purple energy flow tracing my movements as I drew magic glyph in the air, trying to more closely examine the latent magic within these blades and any intelligence that may lie within them.

Gaige (Outside portal)-Quest Complete!

"Oh, that was fun, I must have earned loads of experience killing all of those mooks! And then DT got the killshot on the enemy boss, so experience up the wazoo!" Gaige walked over to D.Va, holding out her metal hand for a hi-five. "Sucks I didn't get to check for loot, but hopefully the quest reward will make up for that!"

Sabrina, Tower Gates

It seemed that their mission was done and that they would soon return to the tower... However, Sabrina's focus was entirety on something else. Her eyes had locked onto a large, beautiful Milotic, something that she immediately knew of because it was a Pokemon just like the ones she carried with her. To see a Pokemon here other than her own was completely unexpected, especially one as beautiful as Milotic was. The Kanto Gym Leader walked over to the Milotic and began petting the side of it.

"Milotic... It is said to be the most beautiful of all the Pokemon," Sabrina looked up at Chaika on the back of the Milotic, before tilting her head slighly. "...Are you this Pokemon's trainer?"

KOS-MOS, Tower Gates — World to be Born

As the Gods of Light and Dark were once again given free reign to occupy their universe, KOS-MOS managed to elicit one more favor before the final act of teleportation: a pair of messages.

The first was to the sole remaining king of elvenkind and his advisors. "Thank you for dispelling the lies which have clouded the future of your people for so long, Aligels Truthbearer," she said, christening him with what she hoped would be a suitable replacement for a surname he could surely no longer use, "Many challenges await you, but I am sure you will continue meet them with grace, humility, honesty, and all the other virtues of royal pedigree you have shown us today. I pray that your reign may be long, and your people prosper forevermore in peace. Goodbye and good luck, Your Majesty."

The other message she spoke at the ear of the servant of the Swordmaster God, and whisked away the goods she had left in his keeping as she called the priest by name. "I am sorry. It seems I will not be able to keep my promise to you regarding the twin blades after all, but perhaps that is still good, in its own way. You will learn of things in the coming days that will require you to adjust your long-held beliefs, but I know from our conversations that you are both wise enough to change and not the sort to lose sight of your true mission to the people so easily. You will manage, I am sure. Thank you, and farewell, my friend."

As the whole of the first wave of Climbers materialized back in the Tower's clearing, KOS-MOS took the opportunity to begin verifying that everyone was present, along with the supplies they'd brought along. Several new Climbers were seemingly just now emerging from the Tower, and she noted that at least two seemed to be somewhat familiar to existing comrades of theirs. Not to mention that Kashira had known all about Theron by reputation and not realized it. It was fortunate that at least some of them were from universes familiar to one another, since there was a high probability they would be better able to coordinate their strengths as a result.

Unsurprisingly, however, the most wayward two members of their party had continued in their momentum after being spatially displaced. Deciding the immediate headcount could wait for a moment, she paced a few steps over to stand in front of the Joestar. "Hello Josuke," she greeted, looking him carefully up and down for any visible injuries, "Reimu and I returned you here via teleportation using the Swords of Light and Darkness, which we have already obtained. Are you or Koishi hurt? I saw while I was channeling Eione that you appeared to be fleeing from something."

Before she was able to get a proper answer out of the pompadour'd youth, however, the man in white interceded with his own askance. She saw little cause not to indulge his curiosity at this point, especially since doing as he asked would actually make utilizing her own weaponry easier if he did something aggressive. "My name is KOS-MOS," the 'golem' informed him plainly, even as she deftly flipped the Sword of Light and caught the flat of the blade to offer it to him hilt-first, "You are welcome to the sword if you desire, though we will still need to use both to proceed soon enough. The set once imprisoned a pair of gods, but they departed back to this world after we released their seals. These should no longer be anything more than normal weapons."

After asking her question, Hinata was mildly embarrassed. While her stuttering has been pretty bad before, she has actually improved to the point where she hardly stutters anymore. Though that is usually around people she is already familiar and comfortable with (like her teammates). But being taken to the Tower had shaken her enough for her stuttering to come back in force.

She shook his head rapidly. No, Naruto probably wouldn't even flinch when confronted with the Locksmith and being suddenly worlds away from home. He would just pump his fist in the air and say he'll beat all the challenges himself, and then beat up the Ruler of the Tower for pissing everyone off by taking them away from their homes.

After the Locksmith had answered her question (that is, if he actually deigned to), Hinata bowed to him and thanked him, before eyeing both the Locksmith and the portal in front of her with her Byakugan OOC: It's up to you, GM, to determine what Hinata is able to see

She then deactivated her Byakugan and bowed to him again. "I apologise for that sudden action, Locksmith-dono. I was merely curious."

With that, she looked at the portal, steeled herself, and stepped through. Caution may be a virtue, but one couldn't reach anywhere high without taking some risks, either. One of the lessons that Naruto taught her.

When she had arrived in the other world just outside the Tower Gate, she saw that the Climbers who'd been there before her had already secured the blade-keys for everyone else. She sighed in relief.

Looking around, she found herself amongst even more oddly-dressed people. After a few seconds of unease, she then realised that a major factor in her decrease in nervousness in talking to people was just because those people were familiar with her and they knew how the other acted and their likes and dislikes. But here, surrounded by strangers, she was back to square one.

She felt ashamed of herself for a moment, and then reminded herself that Naruto can make friends even out of bitter enemies so easily, and he was hated by the entire village!

Yes! How could she ever hope to catch up to Naruto if she didn't even make the effort to befriend some people of her own!?

After a moment's deliberation, she decided to approach seemingly the most normal-looking and approachable of those around her. She steeled herself and approached Tsutomu.

"U-um, h-hello..." she said from beside him. "I-I'm Hinata Hyuuga, of the Hyuuga clan... but I guess that doesn't mean much to you, does it?" She then nervously scratched the back of her head "B-But nevermind that! I-I had the feeling that if we Climbers got to know each other better, than we'll have more of a chance to work together effectively and better the Challenges together. At least, that's what they taught at the Academy..."

She started tapping her fingers nervously and looked at the ground. "B-But if you d-don't want to, then it's fine... I-I can see how I'll just be a bother..."

No Chance For Banditry

Waiting for the newcomers to introduce themselves, the redheaded Japanese teen slowly nodded and flourished away the vividly vermillion rose in hand as though there had always been nothing held. "Ah, it seems as though our seniors are quite capable to have already done their part and completed the objective." Giving a true admiring gaze towards the ragtag band of misfits and remembering his own team of social dropouts, Kurama couldn't help but sigh at the remembrance of the good old days where they went around to make names for themselves. The energy in his blood now calming down once the boy realized there was no need to go treasure hunting, the former youkai decided to figure out where the group stood in general.

Already there were a few that were instantly put on the "keep an eye on" list, namely the dirty creature with the giant rat and perhaps that beady looking human with the bald head and wiry frame. Lsuamine too was also regarded with a sceptical eye, something about the woman just rubbing him the wrong way. Perhaps it was the high-handed elitism, but no- there was definitely something more than just that.

Various members that were neither ghosts, human, or youkai turned up and served to fascinate the intellectual at such interesting new sentient species. And... well, there were quite a few that were definitely lacking common sense in the intermingled grouping. How like old times it seemed. Still, for all the wacky hijinks the newcomers were seemingly able to pump out, the fact that they were here at all meant they all had their talents and parts to play in this adventure, something that one who was used to looking underneath the surface could respect. "A telling of your adventure, if you seniors might indulge in this one's curiosity? A baseline to know what to expect on this bizarre adventure would be of great service." It was a roundabout way of asking for the juicy details, but the foxy individual was a man of wealth and taste, unable to not be a perfectly polite gentleman.

D.Va - Forest Area

"No worries, the loot was gonna suck anyway," D.Va said to Gaige, happy that out of this many people, at least one of them had their head screwed on straight. It felt like everyone else didn't know how to speak, and she often found herself having to repeat simple concepts just to make herself understood. Such as the man in front of her who apparently had never seen a gun before. Or maybe he had and was playing dumb. Either way, she'd get to it soon enough. "My quest reward was just a bunch of stupid Coronium coins, and it's not like I'm gonna be able to spend them on anything wherever we go next, so this is definitely the tutorial mission. I'm just hoping that when we visit a robot world that they turn out to be worth a lot as snack food or something, the devs throw in easter eggs like that sometimes."

She put her hands to her hips, one hand resting on her pistol. "Anyway... this," she suddenly pulled on her gun, bringing out in front so that she could spin it on her finger before holding it in her famous shooting stance as she faced Patches. "...is a standard-issue MEKA Light Gun. A mid-range automatic blaster designed for pilots on the move; its sleek, graceful profile allows it to be the perfect accessory to any soldier's arsenal, while its 420-RPM firing rate and 20-round magazine with paired ammunition wristband - sold separately, see catalog for more details, restrictions apply - that it can pack an effective punch in the heat of battle without fail. Assembled exclusively for the Korean military by the finest Korean craftsmen in Seoul, this baby offers unparalleled reliability and precision."

She gave the pistol another spin while making a finger gun with her other hand, 'firing' her finger and blowing it out with a quick puff of air from her mouth as she holstered her actual gun. When it was holstered, her other hand repeated the gesture of firing and being blown out. "D.Va approved! No one's beating my high scores!"

Lusamine - Also Forest Area

Lusamine raised an eyebrow as some sort of disheveled transient with wayward hair and a scruffy beard approached Weiss, drawing the girl's attention. Before she could raise the issue, though, she turned as she heard someone using familiar terminology.

The person in question was a Pokémon trainer, of that she had no doubt, given the assortment of Pokéballs on her belt. She couldn't place the woman, though. Her face had a somewhat familiar feel to it, but not one familiar enough for her to recall having ever met. Her hair and clothes were styled in a manner that was more commonplace on the mainland, probably a style from an older town steeped with history, one meant to draw attention to a new generation while still being inspired by local culture and flair. Plus it had a cute belt.

Although, there was something about her tank top, and that low cut.... Her cheeks grew slightly rosy as a modest blush began to form, a hint of realization dawning as she tried to sift through the countless hundreds of hours of television she had been forced to sit through, all alone in her hospital room with not much in the way of conversational partners.

Clara blinks as she prepares to lead the Doctor back to the gang. "Or they actually succeeded? Color me impressed, our half actually did it. Doctor...promise me the tower won't set another episode. Please. They need...I need all the help I can get. We're a team, Doctor."

The Doctor already is putting back on his brave face. "I think I've shaken off the side-effects for now. Likely I'd have to be exposed to the tower for a long while to get another onslaught of the effects. You're right though. We can't stay in our little group."

The Doctor goes over to KOS-MOS clearly aware of her status as a robotic being. "I'm sorry, Miss, I was just fascinated by what you said. What makes you so sure that the gods have no aftereffects on these swords? I would have predicted that these swords would be considered holy of some sort due to the auras of the beings inhabiting them for at least a few more centuries. Can you sense they've completely left the swords?"

My apologies for missing your previous post, Inter-Versal.

The Tower

"Don't worry about the time," the Locksmith said kindly to Hinata. "As long as you reach the top and can access the treasures of the Ruler, you can choose to travel back to where you were and arrive the exact moment after you departed, These are the very same fantastical constructs that brought you all here, but I am afraid that I know far too little about them to explain them."

Upon examining the Locksmith with her Byakugan, Hinata would see that a power not unlike chakra but still different flowed through him. He had been a mage of some power before being tied to the Tower, and the magical power still coursed through his veins. Examining the portal beyond the black and gold gates or the stone door, however, gave a much more disturbing imagery.

For though the doors undoubtedly lead somewhere, beyond the physical constructs lay a confusing and multi-dimensional construct of warped time and space that is hard to describe visually and even harder still to fathom. With her Byakugan, Hinata could just about make out the massive streams of spatial manipulation that took place, as bridges of light seemed to connect the portal of the black and gold gates to a distant world. It was like a river of ethereal power, carrying off whoever stepped into it to places unknown.

Beyond the stone door was an equally disturbing sight, should Hinata wish to look past the locked door. For it was an incomplete space, a realm of possibility awaiting the unlocking before completion. And so Hinata could steal a peek at the astounding power that lay in the making of the Tower as she bore witness to the complex structure of alien powers. Threads of unidentifiable powers lay woven and interlaced, less like the structure of a building and more like a multi-dimensional tapestry that was forever being woven and changed in the void. The flux and warp of this undefined space would be most disconcerting to the eye.

Reimu - Outside the Tower

Reimu turned around to see herself being addressed by an unknown man dressed not entirely unlike a warrior monk. He stood tall and imposing, but Reimu met his eyes calmly and with all the cool reserve of a Hakurei Shrine Maiden, which made for an amusing picture seen from the side as the young woman tried to stare down the towering immortal.

"A lot of people seem to find themselves qualified to ask a miko whether she's fit to carry a divine artifact around these parts," Reimu said, some of her coolness melting under the internal glow of irritation, yet she held the blade forward for him to examine. "Have a look if you want to, but don't take too long."

Upon closer examination, it would seem that KOS-MOS did indeed have the right of it. Any divine magic the Twin Blades might carry now was mere residue from all the years the two gods had been sealed. The gods were free now, and had taken their contrasting power with them. Now they were good only to be used as swords, though their edge would never lessen.

As Zasalamel examined the blades with his magic, he would find himself being examined in turn. Reimu could feel no divine spirits behind his power, so it was clear he was a magician of some sort. A typical magician, in Reimu's eyes, considering his thirst for knowledge to the point that he'd interrupt whatever was going on to conduct his studies. While the servants of the gods, of which Reimu counted KOS-MOS considering the latter's skill in handling the Sword of Light, varied depending on the gods they worked with, magicians were the same everywhere. Though his warrior appearance and strange choice in weaponry was very different from the magicians she knew from back home. Maybe he was like Byakuren Hijiri of the Myouren Shrine, who used magic to take on superhuman strength.

In the meanwhile, the Doctor also came up to Reimu and KOS-MOS, asking more questions. If one more person came up and asked them how they were sure about something divine in nature, Reimu would seal the person's arms and legs and leave them behind in this world.

"Because the gods no longer reside in them, man of the Outside," Reimu said patiently. "No doubt the people of this world would consider them holy relics, as well they should considering how much they owe to their gods. The swords would function well as the go-shintai of any grand shrine or temple in their honour, and a skilled communicator could even use them as conduits to come into contacts with the gods. But I can tell you, as clearly as I could tell you whether a cup was empty or filled with tea, that the gods have left no divine power to reside in these blades."

Speaking of tea, she could really do with a cup right about now, or better yet to settle down with a small bottle of sake.

Claw, Abridged Advertisement

"You shoot and kill people with it." Thankfully D.va's pistol wasn't that much different from his own, in a sense, so translating from Garbage to English proved easy enough. "Think of it like a new take on a crossbow."

The Doctor nods clearly comprehending Reimu's statement. "OK, I had a feeling about the conduit, that's what confused me. In my world a conduit usually has at least a bit of the energy left of what it's connected to. However, divine energy and the work of gods isn't what I work on. Not a drop of divine tea left in those blades, I like that analogy!" He has another quick glance at KOS-MOS, clearly noting her mechanical status. "I apologize, I just happened to overhear and it interests me to see someone part-mechanical have knowledge of that world. It's not something I usually see mixing, the divine and the mechanical. I thank both of you very much for answering an old man's dumb questions."

Theron — I have an admirer?

"Kashira." Theron put his hands on the other elf's shoulders. "Please, calm down." He smiled. "You can thank me by keeping your wits with you," he added. "I'd rather see you alive and not distracted (and dead as a result)."
The Grey Warden sighed and glanced at the growing amount of people in their group, some of which looked decidedly weird. He thought about telling the white-robed man not to bother, but it seemed that Reimu and KOS-MOS had that particular situation contained, so he kept his attention on Kashira. "So," he said, and regarded her closely. "What is next?"

Tsutomu - Forest area

Well Tsutomu? Standing still like a statue isn't gonna be of much help. Go see what's in store for us. Birdy said while Tsutomu kept still. The large crowd gathered had intimidated the boy, and he was unsure where to start. All the other Climbers seemed to be busy with their own conversations.

Except for one.

There was a young looking girl who approached Tsutomu, and her studdering, unsure demeanor implied to him that she was in the same boat they were in - a newcomer to climbing this "Tower". The way she carried herself (Hinata was her name wasn't it?), he immidiately waved off her statement that he wouldn't care and scratched the back of his head.

"Of course not! I agree, we have to stick together if we want to make it through this..." Tsutomu started at Hinata. "Hinata, wasn't it? My name is Tsutomu Senkawa. Seems like you're new to this too are you? he asked her with a reassuring smile.

OOC:It is no trouble at all, honourable GM. The very art of good writing in a Roleplay involves flexibility and adaptability, while still remaining true to the character one has decided to represent. If I wanted everything to be controlled and just-so, I would've simply wrote a fanfic.

Hinata - Beside Tsutomu in the Forest Clearing

At seeing Tsutomu smile at her, she brightened up considerably. Maybe this won't be so bad, after all.

"Umm, y-yes, I was taken here only a few minutes ago. It was q-quite a shock for me. But it is a pleasure to meet you, Senkawa-san." she said, bowing to him. As she stood upright again, she paused in thought for a few moments.

"... Senkawa-san, if it would be not rude to ask, can you defend yourself?" she asked him. "Y-You don't look like a ninja, or a swordsman or any other kind of fighter, but I do not want to assume."

After a few more moments of deliberation, she then added: "A-As for me, I was trained extensively in the Hyuuga Clan's style of Gentle Fist, and can throw shuriken and kunai passably, though not as good as other genin." She decided to save mention of her Byakugan for another time.

Patches, Tower Gates
Patches turned to face the cat pirate, and not paying much attention to the fact that he's a talking cat, replied "Oh, really, then?"

Going by what he had seen, if it could honestly hold 20 bolts in itself, those must be some very tiny bolts. In any case, it must be the assassin's preferred weapon in the future if it's that small!

"That's quite novel, honestly," he said as he nodded to D.Va, looking it over once more. "You know, if either of you were to teach a fool like me how to use something like that, I'd make it worth your while."

Chaika - Clearing

...where had all those people come from?!

From one moment to another, the number of people at their location suddenly doubled at the very least. And, likewise, her own little group of three, counting Milotic, suddenly rose all the way up to six, still counting Milotic. The first one to arrive was actually someome she had seen among the others before: Weiss Schnee, a girl a few years older than her that almost looked like she was made of ice. White hair, white skin, clear blue eyes, ice blue dress... only a small bit of red on the collar of her dress, and a glimpse of black just underneath the collarbone. Her rapier seemed to be ordinary, but decorated with many different colors at the guard, which made it look quite fancy.

The second one was a black-haired man with faint traces of a stubble. Grey shirt, black pants, black shoes, red cape, yet another sword, but this one was much wider and it looked like it was missing most of its blade. And according to Weiss, who seemed to know him, his name was... "Crow". Crow, like the bird. She felt mildly bad for the guy; being named after a bird must be hard. Fun Fact

The third one had not introduced herself yet, but she seemed to recognize what kind of creature Milotic was, and immediately asked her if she was the trainer. For a moment, Chaika failed to answer, being slightly more focused on whatever the glowing things on her wrists were than the person herself, but eventually she managed to shake her head thoroughly in denial.

"No trainer," she stated, after which she pointed at Lusamine. "Milotic, no mine. Hers."

In a way, she was slightly upset others around her had people from their respective worlds to talk to but she didn't. Although maybe it was for the best.

Kashira Lavellan - How did things go wrong this time?

Kashira took a few slow, deep breaths. Oh, gods, he thinks I'm a fool. Well, I can't say he's wrong. You've fought in a war, you know what it does to people, why would you just echo the pointless platitudes he's heard a thousand times before? Because it would mean more coming from an elf? When will I learn?

But she was calm again, and nodded to Theron, her features turning stern once again.

"Next, we investigate what went on that caused a full-scale battle to break out," she said, turning towards Gaige. "You there! You were with the group on the forest path, right? What on earth happened that got you into such a terrible fight?

Tsutomu - Forest Clearing

At Hinata asking if he could defend himself, Tsutomu thought for a second. Should he switch over to Birdy now and risk her possibly go berzerk on the other teammates right now? He shook his head. He'll save Birdy for later.

"It doesn't look like it, but I can defend myself." Tsutomu answered with a nod. "I can tell you how, but it's a... complicated story." he added.

Birdy sighed. Y'know I can just take over for you at any time right Tsutomu? No need to.... um, what's that Earth phrase again? Beat around the bush or something like that? Birdy tried to interject. Tsutomu simply blocked her out for the time being. Hinata then talked to Tsutomu about what she could do. From her description, she seemed like... a ninja?

"Ah, so you're a ninja huh? I don't see ninja where I come from...." Tsutomu answered Hinata.
