Itās also worth noting that the leaked information is from like a year before SM 2 launched so itās very likely some plans changed or got scrapped.
GUNDAMU GUNDAMUYeah, Cindy showing up in the stinger for 2 is very likely pointing towards Silk in 3.
GUNDAMU GUNDAMUAdmitably I'm wary of how Silk will be handled since 2 struggled managing both Peter and Miles.

Yeah I'm okay with some minor sidequest easter eggs but I really hope Spider-Verse isn't majorly involved in the games.
At least make a separate Spider-Verse game that does it's own thing away from this series.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Speaking as a Spider-Gwen, it's probably for the best she might not be introduced in this continuity.
For one ,they probably couldn't use her archnemesis, the Earth-65 version of Matt Murdock.
There's also her version of Punisher, but Wraith also covers that niche.

Honestly not torn up about no DLC
The first game's DLC plot wasn't particularly good. It felt alot like a whole tumor attached to an otherwise self contained, completed story. Hammerhead was a shitty villain and the new enemies were just really not fun to fight.
So I'd rather 2 remain this fun complete experience than have a repeat of the mid DLC.
It wouldn't be hard to recast him since theoretically the host would be different since Harry is in a coma.
We know there was a Venom game in the works, but I'm not sure if we had any info on who Venom is in that game.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"
Granted, he had apparently been in poor health for a while before his passing, so it's still possible that that could have been a contributing factor to the DLCs' cancellation, even before Todd died.

I'd say DLC is better when self-contained, It's an expansion pack, you wouldn't want to the base game to feel incomplete.
As it was the base game had the Black Cat subplot that did feel incomplete for the sake of the follow up.
I remember being genuinely stunned that Hammerhead, of all people, got three DLC episodes where he was the main villain. The plots don't even really feel that interconnected. I thought Felicia, Yuri, and Sable were going to team up or something, but they all just have wholly unrelated story beats going on.
The only part I really liked was the set up for Wraith, that was actually compelling stuff.
But honestly, Hammerhead is a decent enough bad guy IMO. I liked his whole nostalgic gangster longing for the old days of the rotten apple, hating the rise of super powered crime, and trying to turn back the clock but being a hypocrite about it.

I feel this dlc stuff will be shoved into the Venom game.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."
