Condemned by History is a problem trope for many reasons. It leads to edit warring and confusion over what qualifies. In this thread we'll look for bad examples, and look for feedback. Here are the guidelines for this trope:
- The franchise has to be truly popular and loved at first. Things that are So Bad, It's Horrible don't count.
- Simply losing popularity isn't enough. We need to see an actual backlash, with liking it being considered bizarre. Otherwise, every not-so-famous film or concluded television series would be here.
Let's go!

Back on topic, I'm not sure how to fix Deader Than Disco since I don't entirely know what the problems are.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!Deader Than Disco has attracted over 40,000 inbouds, which is a determent to renaming it.
Posting here for record-keeping purposes that a Single-Issue Wonk appears to be using dummy accounts to re-add a giant Wall of Text about Family Guy and the works of Seth MacFarlane, and that I've reported it on ATT
.
IBrokeTheToilet22 just re-added
Phineas and Ferb, which was deemed not to be an example and the example is a wall of text. The show in question still has a significant number of fans, so I think the example should be removed.

Has the user been reported to ATT? I’ll do it if no one else does.
Peace is the only battle worth waging. This is really the first major cleanup it's had. If people refuse to take the hint, and this continues to be a major problem, then we might have to resort to that, but it's far too early in the process to request a lock now. Page locks are an "everything else has failed" solution.
Speaking words of fandom: let it squee, let it squee.Has Toriko been suggested yet? When it was running, I remember people praising it and many considered it the series that dethroned Bleach for the Bronze Medal of the Big Three. However, as it went on, its place in the WSJ got worse than Bleach, the anime had horrendous ratings, and The Movie bombed at the box office. People are also put off by behind the scenes drama. For starters, the mangaka, Mitsutoshi Shimabukuro, got arrested for seeing a 16-year-old prostitute back in 2002. There was also the fact that he was good friends with Eichiro Oda, which led to some accusations of nepotism for why it ran for as long as it did in spite of the ratings.

Move this thread to Long-Term Projects.
I almost never follow Short-Term Projects anyway.
