Hm. Once we get enough people, I have an idea for a character
And a few... other ... interesting... ideas. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHA!

Hey there, this looks alright, here's my character.
- Name: Elvyra Sanderssen / Ingress
- Gender: F
- Age: 18
- Home Universe: A near-future Cyberpunk world beginning space colonization with 80s and 90s design sensibilities.
- Physical Description: Elvyra
◊ wears lots of jackets over plain blouses and tees with jeans. As Ingress she dons a bright green tracksuit with white stripes and a black balaclava with a patch of a third eye stitched into the forehead.
- Powers: Elvyra is real tight with an Eldritch Abomination hanging out in the void of space named Noth-Gholei. Noth-Gholei is really just kind of an introverted, uh, person, and they don't really get out much, so the two of them share senses and occasionally bodies. In exchange for Elvyra feeding Noth all the sensory info presented to her, and going out of her way to try new foods or watch new things or touch new surfaces, Noth allows Elvyra to conjure portals to its body, which is mostly just eyes and tentacles, for her to use. The portals can float through the air in a ten-foot radius from Elvyra's body. The eyes can see in every spectrum but visible light and can be up to the size of dinner plates or as small as a tennis ball and the tentacles can get to about fifteen feet long, and they're strong, able to smash a truck.
- Weaknesses: Elvyra is ethically obligated to go out of her way to do stupid and life-threatening crap if it would entertain Noth. The eyes also open up Noth-Gholei to more serious harm, and if it gets hurt it'll be unwilling to give Elvyra access to the portals. The eyes are also points of possible sensory overload, and flashes of heat for instance can easily stun her if she's looking in the infrared spectrum, for instance.
- Skills: Elvyra's fully trained in modern computer maintenance and security routines, and can probably get herself onto IRC from anywhere. She can consistently type at around 110 wpm.
- Personality: Elvyra might have a bit of a contract to hold up, but even if she didn't she'd probably be pretty similar. She's awfully impulsive and driven towards any sort of sensual pleasure, including the thrill of arguments or flirtation. She's very in love with her own strength and isn't afraid to throw her weight around if people try to step to her, which is often, because she doesn't let people disagree with her in earshot. Very close to a bully, basically, she just also isn't into killing people or watching people die. She's cool with a lot of other things, though, as long as it isn't hurting anyone. She really likes taking care of her appearance and looking good, and she would like to upgrade her costume sometime soon.
- Bio:
- Elvyra is the daughter of a stage performer and an ex-bomb arsonist turned pyrotechnics engineer. She was sort of born to be as ostentatious as possible, and for awhile she totally was a gregarious little kid, but as she grew older she found that she was having a hard time staying that way when everyone was being such an asshole to her. She never backed down, so people just sort of withdrew from her. It was around then that she picked up a part-time job during school as a computer technician for a small tech startup.
- Elvyra really took off here. Nobody could interrupt one another on a message board, for one thing, and the low background hiss of hostility and bigotry was perfect for her. Here she cultivated a lot of good relationships with a lot of good people, including a weirdo named ng999. Of course, after a little prodding and sending a selfie of her own, Elvyra discovered that this guy was actually some horrible alien from beyond the stars! She was lucky she could even look at this pic the creature sent because the lens couldn't capture its whole body at once! She didn't back down though, and actually kept talking to what she discovered to be the creature known as Noth-Gholei.
- She and Noth talked a lot about their mutual feelings of isolation as rough, destructive creatures, and over time they became good friends. Noth proposed a deal to bring them even closer and to maybe remedy both of their problems: they would partially share bodies, allowing Noth some measure of experience beyond its eternities of floating in the void and allowing Elvyra to really throw her weight around with its power. She adopted the identity of Ingress to hide herself and took to the streets beating up criminals and political hate-mongerers and stuff like that.

I'll finish up weaknesses and skills tomorrow, but here we go!
- Name: Violet Knight/Chevalier Amethyst
- Gender: Female
- Age: 17
- Home Universe: A universe very much like current Earth, but one where various multidimensional and extraterrestrial magical forces exist and occasionally pop up on Earth to create a bunch of monsters in search of some part of the Anatomy of the Soul.
- Physical Description: A knight of love and justice!
◊. Out of costume she looks almost identical (though her hair is in a lower ponytail and she wears more practical-looking clothes)
- Powers: Violet is a magical girl, and so has a grab bag of attacks and special abilities. When she's transformed, she's stronger, faster, and more agile than a normal human. There's also the bonus that, even though she looks the same in both forms, no one who doesn't see her transform won't be able to put together that Violet Knight and Chevalier Amethyst are the same person. Her Transformation Trinket only works for her, and so even if someone were to drain her power or steal her bracelet, they would be unable to use her power themselves.
- Amethyst Sparkle: A basic attack, a projectile that is reasonably strong
- Amethyst Sparkling Facet: A variation on that which produces eight projectiles, which are each weaker than the original one
- Amethyst Star Comet: a finisher attack, basically a large blasty thing
- Amethyst Starlight: A purifying attack/healing attack that dispels curse magic and such.
- Amethyst Starfall: A larger-scale version, that is better at general pacification than healing, but still ok at that.
- Amethyst Saber: A glowing purple sword, though it's closer to a rapier than a saber. .
- Amethyst Saber Slash: a finishing attack that is basically a closerange version of Star Comet
- Amethyst Chain: Creates a whip-like chain, similar to Venus Love-Me Chain.
- Amethyst Chain Bind: Creates a 'bind' that wraps around the target and restrains them. This can also be used to create an impromptu blockade or wall.
- Amethyst Aegis: Creates a diamond-shaped shield. It's not very large but can block attacks. It can also be grown much larger, though this stops Violet from moving.
- Flight/Super-jumping: Creates four small diamond shapes on each wrist and ankle. These can be used for flight, and also can cause Violet to shoot in a certain direction very quickly.
- Amethyst Sparkle: A basic attack, a projectile that is reasonably strong
- Weaknesses: Violet needs her bracelet in order to transform and use magic. Additionally, absolutely none of her powers are subtle - they all involve being flashy and purple. Unless there's anything actually obstructing sight pretty significantly, she can't be sneaky, at best she can be really fast. Thirdly, her ability to power her attacks can very easily outstrip her reserves. Having Geode nearby can let her recharge, but extended battles will leave her exhausted - she is not an endurance fighter.
- Skills: After many incidents with various evil powers, Violet has a pretty solid grasp on how to figure out weak points and enemy tactics quickly. Additionally, she's pretty good at knitting, cooking, and has taken self-defense courses so as not to be unprotected in her normal form
- Personality: Violet was once a cheerful, naive magical girl - well, she's still cheerful, but the naivety got lost somewhere around the third evil entity trying to suck out someone's resonant crystal or hope flower or whatever it is this time. By now she's gotten to be pretty blase about the magical girl thing, though she still takes the safety of the people around her seriously. She tries to keep a good sense of humor about everything.
- Bio: Violet was once a perfectly ordinary high schooler, when one birthday, a meteor slammed directly into her bedroom through the roof. Said meteor then revealed itself to be Geode, Emissary of the Crystal Kingdom charged with discovering the latest Chevalier of said Kingdom, who would defeat the evil Glass Empress and her various minibosses. After many battles, Violet did so, and was settling in for a well-deserved rest when the Dissonant Carnival came to town. Violet's by now gotten inured to the idea that every so often a weirdly-themed group of people in ridiculous costumes will come to the city, drop monsters everywhere, and wreak havoc.

Up in Useful Notes/ParaguayWow, that personality seems perfectly not contradictory in any way at all.

Well I like the character. Posting a WIP
Name: William Isaac Powers
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Home Universe: It's pretty much like ours, except there are psychics.
Physical Description: In and out of costume, if applicable
Powers: Psychic powers
Weaknesses: Gets headaches
Skills (Mundane things you happen to be good at)
Personality: At least a paragraph.
Bio: At least a paragraph.
Sure, temp-G Ms would work. And it's a boarding school, but you have convienently come in alongside a shipment of new bad guys, so nobody notices anything odd about you. Yet.
And now, for our WIP GMPC:
Name: Danielle O'Malley
Gender: Female
Age: 14
Home Universe: Much like ours, but with plenty of monsters.
Appearance: Danielle is a tall redhead with green eyes. Her civilian outfits tend to be rather dark-colored, while her costume consists of a red skirt and top, white boots, and a tiara with a ruby. She also grows red scaly wings with a six-foot span.
Powers: Danielle is a magical girl, with powers themed around fire and dragons.
Attacks- Ignition Sword- Danielle's sword transmutes into fire when drawn.
Fire Breath- self-explanatory
Flame Barrage- Danielle throws a blitzkrieg of weak fireballs. The individual attacks don't do much, but this is a case of quantity having a quality all its own.
Inferno Beam- Danielle cups her hands Kamehameha-style to charge up a beam of heat energy, then releases it. Has a decent range, but takes a lot out of her.
Crimson Comet- Danielle's finisher at the start of the RP consists of a skyward leap, before descending with an aura of fire around her for a massive impact. Area of effect, but requires about thirty seconds to charge.
Dragonform (Locked until 250 IC posts)- Danielle surrounds herself with a massive aura of fire in the shape of a dragon. While in this state, her attack and defense are greatly increased, but she can only hold it for about five minutes before the strain overwhelms her body.
Flight: Self-explanatory
Super-toughness- not on the level of Superman, but her skin can bounce pistol rounds
Weaknesses: As with any good fire-based superhero, she's very vulnerable to water-based attacks. In addition, she has no way to defend herself against energy or magic based attacks whatsoever. Furthermore, while she thinks her powers are stored in her supposedly magic ring, they actually come from her courage. Break her spirit, and she's a normal, vulnerable human.
Personality: Danielle is a go-getter to the core. In fact, her impulsive nature often gets her in trouble. She's also a kind and devoted friend, but that will not serve her well in a place filled with budding criminals.
Bio: Danielle was an ordinary girl, until she came across a strangely carved ring in a store. What she didn't know was that the ring was property of an ancient being named Chingu. Chingu appointed her Guardian of the Earth in his name, and she's been defending her world from threats ever since.

Forward, boys! For God's sake, forward! So me and Karrin Blue wanted to bring up some issues we wanted to take with Huthman's character, if that's okay.
- You can format into bullet pointed lists by putting a * at the start of your paragraphs, more *s indent it further.
- You should probably try to make your character more internally consistent—look over phrases in your profile and make sure nothing contradicts something else, for example the personality part.
- This is maybe a personal thing because of my own situation but maybe be careful to use actual mental illness instead of just being "insane?"
- Be more descriptive in bio and personality, those are always more important than powers.
- Don't be afraid to put in commas and periods; readability trumps structure/complexity in the case of RP profiles.
- Please define your terms. Why is this guy a prince? Black sitters? Haus? Do you mean 'ritters' as in Knights?
I'd like to add to the list:
- I'm pretty sure Sword fighting, archery, and knowing how to make medicine aren't powers, those are skills, he learned/trained them after all.

The graceless warrior, wielder of the edgeless blade, prophet of the old religions, writer of fluent nonsense, saviour of soul and song.

For you, life's been different than for other kids. Maybe an alien gave you a high-tech suit of armor. Maybe you got magical powers from one source or another. Whatever. The point is, you've got abilities most kids would kill to have.
But life's not all sunshine and roses for you. Seems that these superpowers attract monsters, killer robots, and supervillains to you like a magnet. So not only do you have to deal with schoolwork, peer pressure, and the normal stuff that everyone goes through growing up, but you've got to save your city, heck, maybe your planet. Lot of work for a kid.
Now, you find yourself in an unfamiliar school, with no idea how you got there. The good news is, you've got a few other heroes around. The bad news is, you're going to need them.
See, this school was actually formed as a training ground for the next generation of supervillains, and they've got plans for conquering a pretty good chunk of the multiverse... including your own home! You've been given a golden opportunity to strike a blow against evil, but you're going to need to be smart about it, since you can't reveal yourself to be a hero in the middle of all these evildoers.
Can you thwart the bad guys? Can you save the day? And most importantly, can you get back home in time... to finish that book report?!
So, this is in response to the Looking for GM thread's discussion about a Wake Up, Go to School, Save the World sort of RP. I'll admit to not being the best GM, but I figured I'd give it a shot anyway. If you've got any questions, post 'em here. Canons, A Us, and even OCs from your own universes are allowed. I just ask that if you go that last route, you provide a few details about your world, so that when we get there (and I swear that we will), I have something to go off of. Now, for the CS:
Name
Gender
Age
Home Universe
Physical Description: In and out of costume, if applicable
Powers
Weaknesses
Skills (Mundane things you happen to be good at)
Personality: At least a paragraph.
Bio: At least a paragraph.
