Hello! Saw this thread while browsing through the internet to see if any one else was still using the Brantsteele Hunger Games Simulator. I sometimes regularly host sim games of my own in some section of the internet dedicated to wacky video remixes. The games on my end have slowed down considerably, so I'm looking elsewhere for my simulator fix.

Anyways, what I'm trying to say is... If nobody's hosting yet, can I host? Pretty please?

Alright, so, counting the main teams from the end of the last simulator up to here, that's 38 main entries for a 48 tribute game. I'll wait a day or two for more registrants then start getting reserves in chronological posting order.

Honestly, we usually go with a minimum wait time of 12 hours since the last finale, and then start inputting tributes once we figure out who should run and host etc.

38 tributes in main teams is fairly large in recent memory, I think. I remember going from randomizing which reserves didn't make it in to which ones did because it ended up being faster. Speaking of which, reserves are randomized, not chosen in order.

edit- I was going to input tributes but it looks like you all have this system where one person inputs the tributes and passes the sim link / images to another. Should I go through with that, or should I just go ahead with inputting tributes and then hosting?

I'm cool with that.

It varies from season to season, but basically sometimes the person who does the tribute input can't get good screens, or the person who's willing to host doesn't want to input tributes, etc. Really it's just a way to split up the different tasks when necessary, so if you're willing to do it all more power to you.

Yeah, there's no rule against one person doing everything, it's just some people cannot or do not want to.

If you can input the tributes, make the screens, and host, more power to ya.

Also feel free to add some events to the HGS save if you want, though if it's something particularly obtuse or referential you should inform us here.
