  • Ripto's Gang actually succeeds at something, and it's all because of teamwork!

• Day 7
  • The Kongs are rather shocked that they caught their would-be killer last night.
  • Mario Head has been improving his aim since his last kill.

  • Well, two-fourths of the members aren't happy with their new colors.
  • There's Soulcalibur porn?! Considering his reaction, I don't think they're high calibur. (rimshot)
  • Pyke tries getting the creator of Zero Wing into Pontiff Sulyvahn's game. Toaplan retorts that it's just like Dark Souls, except that it is.
  • The Gang and co. cheer for Darkiplier as he roasts the SPESS MEHREEN for shooting Elfriede.^{Host's notes} Alright, I misinterpreted this event big time since this also happened to Elfriede, ironically. I thought it was literal burning.

  • Velvet gets ahead of Darki for the Feast.
  • The Kongs and Bulk Bogan stand in a circle wearing "I'm With Stupid" shirts that point in both directions.
  • Temmie Tsung befriends Dave. Uh oh...
  • What kind of adoptive relationship is this?
  • Apparently Spyro caught wind of the Gang's failures, so he flew past the security and did them in offscreen. Pyke comes across the reptilian carcasses, Phoenix Down in his hand, but decides to leave them as is.
  • Sulyvhan also witnesses a seppuku, with Toaplan using Siegfried's BFS to finish the deed.
• Feast
  • For Velvet, the Hunger Games is just like Dark Souls.
  • So were the Guardians all feasting on the same pie, or did they each have one? Either way, Jotaro beat them in the contest.
  • All your Kongs are belong to Toaplan's belly.
  • Looks like Mario got too ahead of himself. (rimshot)
  • The SPESS MEHREEN gets revenge for Darkiplier roasting her the other day.
• Day 8
  • As it always goes, revenge begets revenge. Pyke takes the SPESS MEHREEN to her watery grave for beating him at limbo two days ago.
  • Toaplan beats a Stand user at tree racing.
  • The Guardians fry the disembodied face into tempura and throw her straight into Hotland.
• Deaths: Ripto's Gang, Siegfried Schtauffen, Princess Velvet, Donkey and Diddy Kong, Mario Head, Darkiplier, Space Marine, and Temmie Face

Her pronouns were revealed as early as Day 1.

By the way, you already figured out Space Marine was a girl already? I kinda miss the Tomato Surprise in Season 197, where Helghast Sniper being a girl was only revealed upon her death.

TFW a disembodied head gets, well... themselves bashed in, I guess.

I could see the Guardians not wanting blue or yellow. One is already blue and one is already yellow! And also, I'll bet Cyril was the one offended at the Aquaman comment. It's ice, not water. Very different!

And damn, this is the complete opposite of the Red Squadron incident. Those Guardians keep competing in contests together... and losing.

  • Rufus shoots Jotaro to make sure he doesn't get up there with Killer Queen, but Pyke takes the bullet for him.
  • The Guardians convince Toaplan to give up on his game dev career in an attempt to cover up the gaping hole in their plan.
  • Sulyvahn freaks out about his stolen clothes earlier that day.
• Day 9
  • Since when did FF have Loot Boxes? Maybe in its Allegedly Free Games?
  • Even if the Guardians gloated about their plan right in front of Bulk Bogan as well, it still goes off without a hitch.
  • And because all of those bizarre adventures were fake, Jotaro was deemed unworthy of the Excalibur.
  • Sulyvahn is Not So Different from Toaplan after all...
• Deaths: Pyke and Bulk Bogan

There you have it: the final five... or eight because of the Guardians! Which of these bad boys will make it to the top? Stay tuned for the finale!

  • Well, that wasn't part of Toa's plan. Oof
• The Finale!
  • So the son of the president of Shinra Inc. faces a Dark Souls boss in an epic final battle... of alcohol tolerance. Whose liver is the strongest?

I may have goofed up at some parts in this season, but I still had fun hosting this one. It might be cheesy for me to say this, but I picked "Flawless" for the final battle music as a reflection of our experiences here at HGS. We all make mistakes, some minor and some thread-shaking, but as long as we accept that we've made them and learn from them, it's okay, because they make our friendships stronger.

And I nominate Team 375: Experiment 375 (Phantasmo)◊^note who's designed to bring inanimate objects to life by possessing them, and being a ghost, he can't be contained (death◊) and Metang◊ (death◊). Expecting me to nominate a certain experiment for 6/26? Nope!

And I have to address some of the existing events:

• (Player1) kills (Player2) for not being a fan of (his/her1) source material. (D#684: Should be a kill event, but mistakenly set as a natural death event.)
• (Player1), (Player2), (Player3) and (Player4) witness (Player5) burn (Player6) and join (him/her5) running around the arena yelling "HOOOOOOOOOOOOO!". (D#1660/N#1667: Intended to be non-fatal because it involves the tribute roasting the other, but I misinterpreted it as literal burning big time. I don't want the future hosts to make the same mistake.)

Also, some new events:

• (Player1) throws a bomb into (Player2)'s mouth, blasting (his/her2) to smithereens.
• As (Player1) and (Player2) fight in a dungeon, (Player1) finds an axe and cuts the bridge that (Player2)'s standing on, dropping (him/her2) in lava.
• (Player1) drags (Player2), (Player3), and (Player4) onto These Are People. The oblivious (Player5) picks (Player2), who gets shot by (Player1).
• (Player1) drags (Player2), (Player3), and (Player4) onto These Are People. The oblivious (Player5) picks (Player3), who gets shot by (Player1).
• (Player1) drags (Player2), (Player3), and (Player4) onto These Are People. The oblivious (Player5) picks (Player4), who gets shot by (Player1).
• (Player1) sends (Player2) a death threat. (to go along with the one where the recipient just flags it as spam)
• (Player1) and (Player2) have a posing competition. (Player1) wins. (existing event; please replace with this and the one below it)
• (Player1) and (Player2) have a posing competition. (Player2) wins.

At least Bogan died this way. It would have been ugly if Sulyvahn had managed to catch him for stealing his clothes.
