Abridged for Children, perhaps?
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"
That works for me.
Considering that the trope page isn't particularly healthy, I think a rename might help. The current name isn't very clear, and snowclones are only good when they help (like with the Our Monsters Are Different tropes).
I would also agree with Trivia. It's about a change between versions of the work, not within it.
Check out my fanfiction! This also needs a little crosswicking. But yes, Trivia, rename!
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree with both the rename (I like "Abridged For Children") and move to Trivia, although I suppose a case could be made that the abrigement sometimes radically changes the tone of the story. I read one as a child of The Count of Monte Cristo that left out most of the hero's various revenges, leaving him looking like a really rather nice guy.

Oh wow, haven't you for a while, Mad. Welcome back.
Agreeing with the rename to Abridged for Children.
I agree that Abridged for Children would work much better as a name for this.
Since it seems we have broad support for those two options (trivia+rename), I've made a crowner for those
.
If a work has been Abridged For Kids it really isn't trivia, if anything it would be in the main description as a different version of the work. The article entry can be about exactly what was cut out or censored.
... random question, why say that this is a snowclone of a snowclone when you could just say "this is a snowclone of Dropped a Bridge on Him"? I can't see any reason to say it's instead a snowclone of Dropped A Bridget On Him.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanJust catalogued the rename on the discussion page, Renamed Tropes, and the FAQ thread.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"The examples on the page and on works pages have now been crosswicked both ways, with the exception of a commented-out ZCE on Dracula. Submitted an edit request for The Bible in the relevant FAQ thread.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?

Dropped Abridged On It is when parts of a work are edited out to make them easier for kids and reach a wider audience. The title is a rather obscure Snowclone pun on the former trope Dropped A Bridget On Him, which was renamed to Unsettling Gender-Reveal because that trope was itself a snowclone of Dropped a Bridge on Him.
The page has only 5 wicks, 2 of which are indexes. The YKTTW archive further indicates that it was launched with no hats back in 2010. This seems like a clear case where the title is causing the trope's severe underuse, so I'd like to suggest a rename.
