Seems there's an entry on Author Existence Failure that shall be excised. And I'm sure Bernie himself would be glad his friends get to play on.

Plus I'm sure there are others. Spider-man, for one.

Upon seeing this thread, was the first question in anyone else's head "So they replaced George Clooney with Sandra Bullock, right?"
I... can't say I'm a fan of the "she's George Clooney's unmentioned sister" thing. That... reeks of some weak-ass Remember the New Guy?.

I wonder if Mila Jovovich or Charlize Theron would be in there. Sounds like a good movie for the likes of Angelina Jolie, but on the other hand it would be too expensive to cast her. But then again, it's not like 2001 version didn't have a load of expensive actors and well, Bullock and Lawrence are already pretty expensive actresses to begin with, so acting bill is certainly not an issue here.
I would like to see Charlize Theron in particular, simply because she was also in The Italian Job remake. I feel that she'd do a damn good in a heist movie like this one.
Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing. The original had Clooney, Pitt, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, Bernie Mac, Don Cheadle, and Jet Li.
Frankly it would be ridiculous for this not to have an All-Star Cast.
I am just terrified it'll have Melissa Mccarthy.

I actually wouldn't mind Melissa Mc Carthy in the movie. It's not like the series is entirely serious anyway.
Ooh! Ooh! Also, Uma Thurman!

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.Uma is currently working in two productions (well, at the moment they're still in the pre-production phase), one of which is a movie that is being directed by Marjane Satrapi.

I'm kinda skeptical about this. On the one hand, if it just redoes the plot of the original with a different cast, it'll seem redundant. On the other hand, if it deviates more from the tight focus on a single heist . . . well, that's how you end up with Ocean's 12.

The Ocean's 11 reboot is being directed by Gary Ross, who also directed 2012's Hunger Games. It would be the first time that Lawrence and Ross have reunited for a movie since.
Sources told The Tracking Board that the female-oriented follow-up focuses on Bullock's character, an ex-con and the sister of Danny Ocean. In the original trilogy, George Clooney played that part.
"With a team of thieves, she sets out of steal a necklace from the Met Ball and frame a crooked gallery owner. Lawrence is being considered for the role of Bullock's right-hand woman," the report says.
In October last year, Warner Bros. confirmed the all-female Ocean's 11 movie. Clooney is said to be producing, alongside Steven Soderbergh, who directed the earlier trilogy, which itself was a remake of a 1960 movie starring Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin.
The picture has been in development for some time, and it was allegedly a big reason for the fast-tracking of the competing female-led reboot of Ghostbusters at Sony, which is now set for a July 2016 release.
The 2001 Ocean's 11 earned $450 million worldwide, and while the two sequels were not quite as successful, they all proved to be considerable box office hits.
I'm game. The Ocean's 11 films were all about The Caper, so as long as those are still good this reboot will be fine.
