The Tale of Chaldea Heavy Industries prologue: The Bored Bakamatsu Man summary by fumei
- Robot schematics
◊ are shown as the narrator recaps the Gudaguda Saitama singularity. The tale of the last remaining heroes of the Bakamatsu era in Japan. Oryou dies, then reunited with Sakamoto Ryouma in his proper heroic form. Ryouma's divine spear of inversion (Ame-no-Sakahoko) and the white Orochi of Takachiho. Okada Izou's "betrayal", only to be subsequently heroic to protect those dear to him. Takechi's turnaround at the end and Shinbei's final moments. All these figures came together with the Chaldean mage to defeat the evil god that dwells in the people's heart.
- Then there's Takasugi Shinsaku. He died without accomplishing anything.
- Ritsuka opens their eyes to see that they are presumably in Saitama once more, greeted by Takasugi. No tricks or ghosts here, the absolutely-certified-one-of-a-kind superstar of Choshu himself is here. He knows what they're thinking, how the hell is he still alive? Well, he'd love to tell, but first drinks and food so let's go have ramen. Ritsuka keeps objecting, which Takasugi ignores to ramble on about what he wants to eat. Then he remembers the most important thing to say. He needs cash from Ritsuka, please, as a favor for him.
- They end up having ramen regardless. Takasugi explains that he thought he had the coolest death ever (but as a Servant, it's more like "eviction") and then just woke up one day to find himself there just like Ritsuka. Though he's been summoned here again, he has no energy source so he's sorry to ask, but please make a contract with him. Ritsuka is very lucky, Takasugi wouldn't ever make a contract with anyone else.
- Ritsuka is already convinced that Takasugi has something up his sleeve. He's offended because doing the evil mastermind shtick twice in a row is boring. Takasugi's Kiheitai soldiers approach and threaten to kill them both so that means Ritsuka really has no choice but to comply so Takasugi can kill his now enemy army.
- Takasugi loses. He was totally confident that he'd be mowing down everyone like it was Dynasty Warriors but he couldn't do much at all. He asks if Ritsuka's got a ton of reinforcements like last time but no. Takasugi thinks this might at least get interesting. Emiya Alter sneaks up on them and a blow to the Servant's head renders Takasugi unconscious. Emiya berates Takasugi for being so frivolous in serious moments and contacts HQ that the target has been captured.
- Emiya Alter's boss receives the message and informs him to bring both mage and Servant to him. If his information on the Chaldea Security Organization and their young mage is correct, then his impossible dream may come true. He beckons to Takasugi to let their dream proceed.

That and his final art looks evil as fuck.
Apparently his third ascension line has him straight up assert that he's the leader of an evil company which is just...yeah, okay.
The Tale of Chaldea Heavy Industries chapter 1: Starting with SAITAMA summary by fumei
- Rewinding back to Chaldea. They confirmed the existence once more of the SAITAMA Singularity despite its confirmed disappearance prior by Ritsuka. Even with event currency trauma, they can't leave it alone and are mandated to go deal with it. The catch is it blocks any Servant who popped up there last time from Rayshifting like Okita or Ryouma so a new team is assigned.
- First up is Hector, who apologizes for being an out of shape old man. Next is Sasaki Kojirou who says if Hector is deemed amateur, then he's just a random villager. Kojirou is from the Musashi province so at least he's a local. Next is Oda Kippoushi. But wasn't Nobu there last time too? Ah, but that was female Nobu. Kippoushi doesn't count. Also Kippoushi is bringing that hardass drinking buddy Emiya Alter who wants to skip greetings and get going already.
- Rayshifting begins but it goes wrong and Sion yells for them to stop. Da Vinci responds that such short notice makes it impossible. Chaldea's pre-established connection to SAITAMA is screwing with the process so the coordinates have been messed up and they all got separated.
- Back to SAITAMA where Ritsuka was explaining all this to Takasugi. Yoshida Shoin greets the Chaldean mage and introduces himself as the head of Yoshida Concern. He apologizes for this rough situation but he needs to talk. Takasugi is shocked that this guy might be who he says he is, but Yoshida tells Ritsuka to shut their Archer up. His voice is annoying and he keeps interrupting. Takasugi keeps asking Yoshida if he recognizes him, the two should be well acquainted. Yoshida loses patience and punches him in the face, but Takasugi keeps asking.
- Yoshida doesn't remember this dead-eyed man, which makes Takasugi perk up. Yoshida orders Emiya to shut him up, which he does with a gun to the head. Yoshida apologizes to Ritsuka for getting riled up; it happens too often. He urges them to cut ties with their Servant but Ritsuka is curious if the two have a connection. Yoshida just gets to the point he wanted to ask: Give him Chaldea. Ritsuka does not have the authority to give him Chaldea. Damn. Legal acquisition failed. Looks like it's time to use them as a hostage for negotiations.
- Hector then runs in to strike Yoshida but Emiya blocks him. Hector mumbles to himself to check security next time as he frees Ritsuka and Takasugi. Emiya sneers that Hector wouldn't be able to fight both him and the Kiheitai with two non-combatants but Kojirou enters, having sliced the robots.
- Takasugi declares they'll escape by jumping out the window. Yoshida finally speaks to him, asking him if he's running away again. Just as it was when Kusaka
died. How cruel it is to retain all knowledge of history after death. Yoshida does remember Takasugi. The man who accomplished nothing. Hector urges them to get out already as Yoshida almost seems like he wants Takasugi to escape again and prove his point.
- Ritsuka grabs Takasugi and Hector uses his right arm to launch them out the window. He and Kojirou shortly follow them. Emiya wants to pursue but Yoshida orders them to stand down. He won't win against those two. And it's too early for deploying the other option. Yoshida is certain Takasugi will achieve nothing.
- Ritsuka and Takasugi fall, with the latter doing his best to cushion them during the fall. They land in the exact hideout Zuizan used last time. Hector and Kojirou catch up to introduce themselves to Takasugi. He recognizes Kojirou who emphasizes he's not the real guy, just some dude who really likes swordsmanship.
- Takasugi gets down to business. Since Yoshida is their enemy, there is only one solution: Bringing back Takasugi Heavy Industries! Yoshida's doing some corporate acquisitions and is eying Chaldea. So they should respond as a competitor. Neither Hector or Kojirou have any business experience (Kojirou offers to be a gatekeeper again, if they want). No problem. This is going to be very interesting for Takasugi as he fights his own teacher. Let the New Takasugi Heavy Industries and their story commence.
Wonder why Yoshida's treating him like this. Also considering Okuni has event bonus I wonder how she got through the singularity block
I gotta say.
Seeing Artemis's more calm demeanor with Aphrodite was nice. Kinda wish we could more interactions between the Olympians.
The Tale of Chaldea Heavy Industries chapter 2: A Familiar Workplace summary by fumei
- The party also finds Ryouma's HQ and appropriates it as another base for Takasugi. The Archer has to start brainstorming how they can get capital since nothing else can be contributed by the others to get the company running. Ritsuka decides to eat a Chaldea snack while Takasugi thinks but he notices and requests one from them. A moment of silence. Time to bring back the famous SAITAMA confectionary as their first step.
- Zuizan made sweets last time, his factory is almost entirely automated and stocked so they're ready to go. Kinnou Manju tastes the same as Takasugi's Restoration Manju, so Zuizan made himself useful for once. Takasugi actually made money the same way last time because people are crazy for that stuff.
- Unfortunately, no one cares about manju anymore. Shoin Daifuku is what's in, which really motivates everyone to just follow Yoshida Concern so they have no interest in other sweets. Just to kick Takasugi some more, Ritsuka is influenced by the trends and bought a bag of Daifuku.
- But Takasugi will use this and figure out what makes them so popular, snatching the bag for dissection. Takasugi looks at one sweet, his eye glows purple, and utters "Analysis". He declares that he's figured the secret. He orders Hector to find Yoshida's factory and warns everyone not to eat it. He'll give them the employee discount for his manju if they're hungry. Ritsuka and Kojirou are brought with Takasugi to prepare something else.
- Late at night, the group infiltrates the located factory. The service entrance has surprisingly little security, so they get in easily. Kojirou has been carrying a bag for Takasugi since his contribution is brute strength and Takasugi refuses to carry anything heavier than his shamisen.
- They find the production line. Takasugi explains what he saw with his eye (which Ritsuka wants to name "Takasugi Eye" but is declined). The daifuku brainwashes anyone who eats it to become enthralled with a specific person, in this case, Yoshida. It might be a skill of his or the Grail itself at work.
- The alarm rings and Yoshida reveals himself. Ritsuka confronts him about what's being done, but he doesn't care. Takasugi made an absolute god to rule over everyone, after all. This can't be denied. Yoshida rebukes Takasugi for not thinking things through as he acts, causing trouble for everyone.
- Takasugi sighs because he wanted to do the brainwashing thing too, but has now decided against it. No matter what Yoshida says, he will be second-rate to Takasugi. Let's settle this properly through other means and even the playing field. Kojirou empties the bag of molotov cocktails and flings them everywhere, setting the factory ablaze.
- Yoshida is furious at Takasugi's utter stupidity. The Kiheitai comes to confront the party, surrounding them with both enemy and flame. Takasugi says he'll take care of this and the others stall for him.
- They manage to escape unscathed. Daifuku production has stopped for a while so manju can get a foothold in the market again. Takasugi will be stepping out for a bit to make some business deals. As Ritsuka eats manju, they wonder if Emiya Alter was brainwashed by daifuku.
- Meanwhile Kippoushi is lost and super hungry, so they eat this daifuku they found. An ominous shadow lurks behind as a weird feeling grows in their heart.
Takasugi is a chaotic little shit and I love it. Though, the event focusing on business ventures and capitalism I can't say I expected.
I kind of doubt EMIYA alter is brainwashed but Kipposhi definitely is going to be.
Wow, this year really must have been when they realized "Oh yeah, Aphrodite ruined Medea's life".
One thing I appreciate about tower events is them bringing out the most obscure enemies. When was the last time you saw the Yaga, for example.
Also Kagekiyo and Liangyu appear in the event. So I guess there's that.
God, it feels like forever Emiya Alter had a role in anything. Last event he had a part in was the Requiem collab iirc.
It's nice to see that Fergus has enough standards to not pursue girls below certain age, most Saberfaces and those who are taken (though his Interlude disagrees), but what's wrong with, say, Himiko or Sei?
For Sei maybe too valley for him. Himiko i have no idea. Unless he not a armpit guy.
Oh come on!
Asterios' new lines being slightly different flavours of each other was disappointing, same with Phantom. Chiron's line for Sieg is cute. Also how dare you make me feel anything but disappointment towards David!?!
Can you punch your Salem self too Samson?
Rikyuu why are you staring at my son...
Heh, that's actually cute
Edit: I think he rejects Sei for the same reason he rejects Suzuka- they both dress like students so that's a no go.
While there are lot of taken women in that list somehow Bryn and Kriem are not included in no goes.

Huh, Fergus's line is really trying to avoid some of the popular/paired girls isn't it?
Fergus thinks his list is flawless until he sees Ibuki's First Ascension.
I have no idea what Fergus standards are supposed to be.
Seriously man, Mordred is always ready to duke it out, all the tie. Just don't.
Oh boy...
That's how it works yes.
