Finished section 4 and I'm done for the week probably (as long as I don't get depressed again).
My impression of the lostbelt so far is that the characters so far are interesting (except Bart). Corday is the only non-Bart character I'm not so sold on since her gimmick of feeling useless and obscure isn't handled very flexibly so it can make her come off as one note if Bart didn't exist to show it could be so much worse, but I also don't dislike her so we'll see if Higashide (maybe) can sell me on her. Orion is gross in some ways but without Artemis he's actually allowed to show his more normal side more often rather than the sum of his interactions being running away from Artemis to go sexually harasd some girls, getting pin cushioned, Artemis cries because he's not being a decent boyfriend or not going along with her selfish wishes, he basically tells her to stop being a pain, ruins whatever moment by sexually harassing a girl, rinse and repeat.
I love Mandricardo, he's unbearably cute. There's also a lot of options where I can be noticeably more friendly and nice to him which gives me lots of serotonin and remedies my depression. I wish I could shower him with kisses and hold his hand and fluster the heck out of him.
Bart can see whether I'll hate Apollo more than him when Paris finally shows up.
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysBarghest's scenes later tell that faeries do have sex, it's just never for procreation purposes.
Finally got the Angry Mango to Bond 10 so I could do his interlude to hit the next interlude completion reward.
Literally only had time to do the goddamn Intro.
Working life fucking sucks.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Mandricardo is very good, ye. I actually like his character too, since he doesn't think of himself as a "real" Heroic Spirit despite how strong he is.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Oh, goody, timed battles are a thing now...
I was under the impression that either Nasu or Sakurai wrote Atlantis. How do we know that it’s Higashide?
"If brevity is the soul of wit, then I simply have no soul." He/HimNot sure where you got the idea it was one of those two. Nasu typically states outright that he’s writing a chapter and Atlantis lacks a lot of Sakurai’s typical writing thumbprints.
Servant mats indicating the writer for each Servant and Servants all interacting with one another under the pen of the same writer like how Jason, Chiron, Orion, and Achilles all feature because Higashide already wrote for them
I think another indicator was how the same interlude plot of "oh no thing I did in Singularity/Lostbelt/whatever with Master doesn't count because that was a separate me" was put in for Atlantis Servants that was also used for other Higashide Servants like Anastasia, can't wait for Moriarty to suddenly wake up one day and decide Shinjuku didn't count for beating Holmes.
I'll keep this in mind for the future.
Anyway, I'm still bothered by the teaser for Tunguska Sanctuary, if only because I can't figure out what those monsters are.

They look like fleshy monstrosities that have been merged with military-grade weaponry...
I really can't see at least one historical figure from Communist Russia not appearing in some role. Same goes with the very real likelihood that we might finally get to see Abe-no-Seimei, seeing as how this is a storyline focused on Tamamo-Vitch.
Though that does make me wonder if we'll finally see the rest of the Tamamo Nine appear to try to fight back against Koyanskaya...

"If brevity is the soul of wit, then I simply have no soul." He/HimThose are thr Lahmus from Babylon.
You sure?
Oh... good God...
From a comment on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3linl-SWxVI
"I think there might be context in the kanji that 'ecosphere' doesn't quite convey.
So according to google and wikipedia, 生存圏 is the Japanese term for the Lebensraum, literally 'living space,' an idea which started to gain popularity in Germany pre-WWI and stuck around through the Nazi regime, which was basically Manifest Destiny in Europe. Kick out or exterminate the locals on conquered land and bring in German settlers, because that land should be used 'for Germany.' In WWI it was maybe debatably more cultural or nationalist than strictly racial or ethnic, but once the Nazis took it up it was DEFINITELY a race thing.
We won't know if the 'bring in settlers' part fits or not until the chapter releases but the 'kick out the locals' part does definitely seem to be an intended parallel, with the 'extermination' undercurrent definitely intact when you look back to the Lostbelt prologue."
"If brevity is the soul of wit, then I simply have no soul." He/HimThere's no reason to be this speculative with the word choice, especially considering Type-Moon is one to avoid this kind of controversy and that this nuance was completely absent from Gotterdamerung's and Heian's usage of the word.

Fair, but I am wondering whether or not the inclusion of the term might be indicative of something else entirely. It's not like the Nazis would be involved anyway, since they didn't come to power until the 1930s. So if we do see anything with Germany, I'd bet that it would have something to do with World War I-era Germany. Of course, that depends on whether or not this is a Lostbelt or a Singularity.

"If brevity is the soul of wit, then I simply have no soul." He/HimThink what's interesting is that the logo and second voice over might be implying Amaterasu might be involved.
Granted, it could just be Vitch getting serious but we know she's gonna lose and become part of our harem join our side, so who knows.
We pay Bitch to be near us. Cause suffering is also a profit in her eyes.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession. And if Susanoo does in fact appear, it'll be interesting to see if he has power like Amaterasu or if he's an antagonistic character at all. Though I can't see any way to make either of them match each other in power, since Amaterasu is the sun...

"If brevity is the soul of wit, then I simply have no soul." He/HimProbably have him comment on being stuffed into Muramasa, cause I believe he mentions Kushinada as an enemy.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Get ready for praise the sun.
Like this? \[T]/
[DATA LOST]Vitch is but a humble farmer, peacefully tending to her latest crop of guns
What class would Susanno even be....Saber?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Berserker. Guy defecated on his sister garden.
No, it's just a lack of options. English has Lebensraum, habitat, biotope, ecosphere, etc., but in Japanese 生存圏 is your only word for a space that a nation needs to occupy to accommodate its constantly expanding population. Check Weblio Thesaurus for yourself. There are no synonyms.
I mean Kiyo is fine with Batty and Blackbeard is cool
