I think Okeanos was my favourite chapter so far, but I think America had some of the most dank meme cooler servants. None of which I have rolled, because god damn double lottery.

Having punched through the story twice, Edisonland is a pain in the ass, and there's not enough support Edison to make it worth it.

Also, SCM, wouldn't it be better to add the name of the user corresponding to each FC? Some of us have different names here and FGO.

Anyway, I finally got around to leveling Jack the Stripper's Quick Buff to 10◊. The pic, by the by, includes Jack the Ripper in her third ascencion form, and if you know Fate, you know that she's not dressed very appropriately, so I wouldn't open it at work. Or where other people can see it, really.

Ibaraki's announcement kinda makes me laugh because all I can think is that they noticed that Casters are now beating Berserkers as the class with the most characters and this will not do.

Jack is oddly enough the only character I can think of whose third/final ascension design is... the original, pre-GO design. It's weird, everyone else gets fancier (or sluttier) in some way.

Waver goes back to his original Fate/Zero design as well.

Robin gets his original design back (with the hood down) with his first ascencion, instead of being the default.

Artoria also technically goes back to her original design with first ascencion, 'cause she puts on her armor. (She's also one of the few female servants who gains clothes as she ascends, like Boobdicca, who goes from "seriously what the hell were they smoking" to "okay this actually looks fairly good".)

Generally, the only thing Jack can't rip through like a bunch of candy wrappers after a bitchin' Christmas Afterparty is the books, and for those, I have Santa Alter.

I really missed this. If I had her and Jeanne Alter in the same account, the event would be so quick it'd be hilarious.

What level should you be at to fight Gilgamesh in the event? I've almost unlocked the fight against him and I've only got a few Servants Servants over level 30, Shielder's at 30, Drake's at 37, Lancer Cu at 40, and Nursery Rhyme at 28 and Kid Gil at 30.

The fight against Gil is, IIRC, just a one-round fight with Gil... Support Karna should be able to handle it relatively easily. Just bring a bunch of meatshields along.

Incidentally, leveling your Drake should take priority over anything else. Drake kicks a lot of ass, and you need exactly two strong servants to deal with 90% of what the game will ever throw at you, regardless of class... provided those two strong servants aren't the exact same class.

Nah, you use up all your luck when you roll two of the event limited servant in the same roll. Or like that guy who rolled 4 Karnas at once.

I dunno, I was rolling to try and get EMIY Assassin - shouldn't be too hard, right? He's a four-star Servant on rate-up, I had something like 26 tickets and 6 10-rolls, I'd be able to get him.

Go through all the tickets, nothing special. First 10-roll, nothing.

Second 10-roll? I get Iskandar. At which point I almost had an aneurysm trying to rectify my feelings of "FUCK YES LIMITED 5-STAR" and "GAME I DON"T CARE ABOUT HIM GIVE ME WHAT I WANT".

Took two more 10-rolls to get EMIY Assassin, but did actually get him though.

Aren't you locked into Waver or Diarmuid for support since it's a story mission?

Well just use Waver for the buffs, NP gauge boosts and so you can prevent Gil from using his NP with Waver's NP.

Narrowly scraped out a win against Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh got off an Enuma Elish and took out Drake and Shielder, while Waver survived. Bought three turns after that, with Kid Gil Charming Gilgamesh for one, then Waver two more as I used a Command Seal to use his Noble Phantasm twice in a role, Gilgamesh would've finished me off with Enuma Elish after but then...

I had Cu now able to pull out Gae Bolg and hit Gil for nearly double his remaining HP (around 54k damage I think?) keeping me from losing.

When you try rolling for Iskander, the manliest of manly servants, and get ... Astolfo.

Yeah, I forgot, story supports.

I've relied on supports so little lately that I kinda forget they're limited sometimes. Pretty much the only reason I take supports instead of a third strong servant sometimes is 'cause of cost, since running the event CE alone is eating like 60 of it, leaving me only 47 for servants.

I was under the impression all friend/support Servant and Craft Essence were effectively free and didn't affect the cost at all. And that you were forced to take a support, whether it starts in the front line or not.

Which is exactly what I said.

What I meant is "the only reason I take a support on the frontline".

The second wave of strengthening quests is coming out this week.

The 3* Servant I want to get an upgrade is Caster!Cu, feel like he's a bit lacking compared to the other 3* Casters and him getting a new skill or upgrade to his skills would be great. And they'll probably pick one of the Gilles and make them slightly less terrible.

Even if he does get a strengthening quest, it's still unlikely to make him strong enough to be usable compared to other, significantly better casters like Medea, who is also significantly more available since she's in event gachas while Caster Cu is Story-Limited so most people only have the one.

The last time, the only really effective strengthening they gave was to Leonidas, a servant who is already useful and became actually a viable member of a Berserker team with his upgrade, that can even be considered good despite being bronze. The most disappointing of them all was Martha, who only got a small upgrade to her heal that's all but inconsequential.

I'm just trying to get the bond levels to 10 so I can get the promised special CE.

Pfft, that is going to take a while.

Have you cleared out shop? If you haven't, do that, if you have... go at the Cirnopedia and look at what Materials your favorite servants will need and farm the crap out of the quests that give those. The bond levels will come. I'm halfway through to Artoria's level 6, myself, and I have not actually been optimizing my boind point collection. This has the added benefit of getting you a crapton of QP. And trust me, that stuff will be in demand later on. Leveling skills takes metric fucktons of the stuff.

I'm just one infinity gear away from Avenjeanne's ascension. Planning to get all the ascension stuff first, then the little servant statues. Not in much of a hurry, I still have a week. Though farming Lancers sucks, because of the aforesaid lack of Sabers. Lost my command seals this morning from needing to revive my party to kill Shadow Arturia.

Well... I can see how that would suck. I did get ridiculously lucky when I rolled Artoria just before this event.

And for further hilarity, I also rolled Altera while dropping quartz trying to get Lancer Alter. If I'd had enough experience to level her up, the Lancer fight would be a joke between those two and Jeanne Alter.

But of course, leveling Iri took precedence since there was a quest for that.

Incidentally, and just for laughs, my older account has somewhere between 250 and 300 Exp Cards in the gift box, along with 40 ATK and 70 HP silver Fou cards. No joke. It's been a while since I've rolled anything I'm willing to drop exp in on that account, particularly considering how little returns I get from leveling Uncle Vlad at this point, who's the only 5 star that account has that hasn't hit 90 already.
