Lu Bu hasn't done anything untrustworthy because they've confined him to berserker class and even that doesn't completely assure he won't pull his nonsense
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysReasons:
Gilles: Bluebeard. Serial-child murderer and worse.
Lu Bu: Betrays everyone as a hobby and would have betrayed us unless summoned as a Berserker.
Historical reasons of their characters.

We got a treacherous Lu Bu in the Rider Class with a lots of schemes to betray us hidden behind his unassuming horse face.
Honestly, Amakusa and Kiara are a bit more trust worthy than the others because you can easily tell exactly how they'll act.
- Amakusa's whole deal is Grail's, so its how he'll react should a Grail be in proximity. Makes him more predictable, and outside of Grail nonsense he is a genuinely good person.
- Kiara's whole deal is temptation and lust, she's gladly indulge in her vices and will try and tempt her master by being their Mara. Outside of that though, her worst behavior is just being a nymphomaniac, and is pretty loyal outside of her Mara act.
Holmes sounds like a swell guy.
Maybe that's why evil can never win, because they're predictable.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Holmes isn't a swell guy and if you make him one you're getting sued.
Holmes stole my quartz and gave me Jeanne, he can burn in hell.

“Oh, that’s all right,” he cried, with a merry laugh. “I think we may consider the thing as settled—that is, if the rooms are agreeable to you.”

I think Lu Bu doesn't betray here because for most of the game, the protagonist is basically the only "leader" left. You could imagine him trying to kill us once the Crypters appear, but...
Wake me up at your own risk.It could be that Lu Bu isn't betraying us is due to us having summoned a "good" Lu Bu by not using a catalyst for specifics. (and with his Madness Enchantment added on top of it, of course.)
With "good" being "I won't betray you...yet." in Lu Bu's case.

I wonder how The Doyle estate feels about Milky Holmes where his descendant is a girl and a blithering idiot who gets by thanks to sheer luck and broken superpowers.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Still speeding through Anastasia in NA to get those 10 Quartz
Considering Hinako's backstory, I wonder if she was internally panicking at being asked to talk about this
We can actually trust Moriarty, outside of the obvious Shinjuku plot. It's very weird. Sure, he'll cause trouble, but he's as confused as anyone else about this lack of betrayal going on. Then again, perhaps it's not surprising, given that liking us was necessary for his plot but ended up foiling it all the same...
He can be relied upon to be reliably untrustworthy but not do anything too bad to us.
Avatar SourceIt's as I said earlier, Protagonist EX brings out the best in every servant, even those who should be the absolute worst!
Does that include Kyohime as well?
Some interesting meta discussion about LB 2 and THEMES.
Theyve got some other good ones too. Like on Salem.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yes, because EX means the result isn't always positive, just that it's unquantifiable.
Speeding through Anastasia in NA: If Mozart is Nasu, Marie is Sakurai, and Sanson is Higashide, I wonder which author Salieri is meant to represent.
also can't help but feel like Nasu's venting through Mozart continually performing art to placate a monstrous giant
Ivan's awakening is still the best scene in LB 1 imo

Salieri = Urobuchi?
You can put all the themes you want in something but that doesn't help if it's a chore to read.
Avatar SourceOrochi: still sucks ass
why did they give it both def pierce and invul pierce
It might just be me. But QSH's interlude makes me think that theory about Chaldea becoming the last representatives of "humanity" and leaving the Earth for the stars ending isn't in the cards. Why go through all the trouble of writing an interlude where QSH creates a "backup" of his lostbelt so if Guda falls, he can save Panhuman history in his steed.
Funny isn't? Gilles is one of more evilier Servants, yet hasn't done anything evil that wasn't from first Singularity.
