A big problem is that nakama is used for a lot of more specific words that are sometimes too specific, too long for subs, or both. It's also stronger than some words like 'teammate' or so on - so if you get, say, an instance where character A causes danger or harm to B, and is then at B's mercy, but B rescues A and says "because you're my teammate" - it sounds weak or corny in English, but I guess less so in Japanese.
(Of course, the answer to this is to move away from the "because we're (noun)s" structure and do something like this, from Firefly:
Mal: You're on my crew.
Simon: Yeah, but you don't even like me. Why'd you come back?
Mal: You're on my crew. Why we still talking about this?
I'd need a more specific example to address the "though" question.

I think that this might have been the worst Summoning attempt I've ever had in this game. I literally only got one new Servant (Jing Ke), the rest were Craft Essences or low-rarity Servants that were all Hundred Personas, Serenity, Ushiwaka, or Medea, to say nothing of how fucking often I got Kiyohime. This is all from 130 Quartz and 12 Summoning Tickets.
Guess I'll have to wait for another time to try and get Jeanne.
