"Infusion of confidence".
...Is That What Theyre Calling It Now

"Yup. That tasted purple."Wilhelmina and Thea are totally just friends.
Also, really, 30 minutes to get away from Spee's main armaments' range? On the second thought, it might be actually believable since Harekaze can't just turn around and run away, and instead has to put some distance while going in parallel with Spee.
P.S. I find it extremely hard to believe that no one got turned into bloody paste by that direct hit/explosion. 152 mm HE shell (and Spee's secondary cannons are just about this caliber) has a good chance of killing entrenched infantry even 200 meters away. 400m for those out in the open. A paper-thin armor of Harekaze just wouldn't be able to stop such an explosion. Likewise, a direct hit for Harekaze's guns earlier should have done way more damage than it did. Even if the shells were actually blanks.

Remember that sometimes logic doesn't apply well in anime (just like Gu P)
and they're using those airbags again to ensure they won't blown out of the room so... They're like damecons...
Anyways that Thea reminds me of a certain Russian loli in that anime again
They survived for the same reason Katyusha survives being around 10 meters from a Karl-Gerät round
Just when you think Mashiro's luck (or lack thereof) wouldn't be a part of this episode, this happens
.
The funny thing is that this is still more plausible than Girls Und Panzer
So, fun episode, heavy on the yuri subtext. One girlfriend successfully rescued
This is Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag with high school girl & WW 2 vessels..:p
Akari & Georgette are best waifus..Isoroku: "Mine!"
This time, the Harekaze initiated combat. It was quite energetic.
Funny, I thought the virus gave possessed people super awesomeness.
Cool stuff, Raid Team!
Maybe a Machiko
Fan Club could become a reality?![]()
Kouko sure was adamant about seeing this operation through. Wilma's her friend, after all. But partings are still painful. But worry not, Kouko. I believe the Spee will be back for the Musashi fight. Because I'm pretty sure the Harekaze can't do this alone. ...Especially with its current damages. It'll be a different story if the Harekaze runs into the Musashi before meeting up with the Akashi, though...

Second one being Akeno / Mashiro / Moeka?
On a completely unrelated note, I wonder what would be the local's first reaction, should Iona suddenly appeared in their waters? Submarine doing 80 knots o_o

A certain Graf Spee crewmember
looks familiar
, poi...
(Well, Akeno does resemble Error Musume...)
"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."![]()
Akeno will have to do quite some convincing to get Moeka and Mashiro to agree to that — those two don't look like someone who will like sharing.
Well, I'm pretty sure that I-201 isn't the only submarine out there. After all, the lab where those virus-carrying hamsters/rats were created too was a boat... That said, I-400 sisters might not exist there because heavier-than-air aviation doesn't. And they were designed as submersible carriers.

For reference of bringing guns to bear, I give the story of the USS Samuel B. Roberts vs IJN Chokai at the Battle of Samar
.
TL;DR: Chokai couldn't shoot low enough and the Roberts got off a torpedo that disabled it.
