For the sake of my faith in humanity, someone please tell me that this is some form of parody.
It's japanese. Honestly outside of the horse racing thing, it looks like your standard Idolmaster time management game.

And while I'm not a fan of the genre, horse racing video games have a long history in Japan. So it really sounds like a standard horse racing sim crossed with a time management sim crossed with Japan's obsession with cute teen girls. Three things Japan loves in its video games... upon consideration, more inevitable than anything else, really.
I expected centaurs at least.
Still waiting on my TPS with the Upotte girls Japan!
So I love how Bojack Horseman turned Secretariat into a track racer with a drug problem, but you know what it really needed? Big anime boobies.
What even the fuck, Japan.
WHAT EVEN THE FUCK, JAPAN.

Dude, Japan's been doing stuff like this forever. When you see it once you've seen it a thousand times. It's nothing to get worked up over.

Hm, thought the over-the-top tone was clear.
Upotte was quite good and funny >.>
Then you got things like Kancolle arcade
Surprising lack of that many ponytail hair styles.
All things considered, it is fairly innocent idea IMO.
Well... depends on whether or not they get into what racehorses do when they retire.
Yeah, doubt it.
I have nothing to add to this entire topic except that the song in the PV is actually the most head-poundingly anime thing I've ever heard. It's like it's precisely designed to be hit every trope and cliche for every moe-associated song ever, combined and concentrated into a single undulating mass. It is more anime than ought to exist in our reality. Anime cannot be this real.
That being said I'm sure the actual thing will be inoffensive... well, as inoffensive as any moe management sim can be. Sort of. Far too anime.
Cute ponies were bad enough! Now you have to make cute pony girls?
Japan, you have our attention. Make an anime out of this. NOW. Also, give us the game as well. There is a game, right?

It's supposed to be a mobile game, yeah.
@38 Now that you mention it, I guess this is Japan's answer to My Little Pony Friendship Is Magic: Equestria Girls.
Knowing Cygames, it'll have an anime tie-in somewhere down the line. This trailer is revealed at yesterday's Anime Japan, after all, alongside with another (very much proper) high fantasy series also sponsored by Cygames.

Well, over on Reddit people have been discussing this and somebody brought up the question of what happens when one of them breaks her leg.
I would think, due to being mostly human, they would go through the same things normal athletes would go through when injured. Probably no early retirement necessary.
Yeah, this seems to be girls who are also horses, not horses that look like girls
Do injured girls get shot?
Maybe in Fatalpulse/Asanagi's grimderp VICTIM GIRLS reintepretation of this franchise.

If it's anything close real life gambling on horse races plus the microtransactions of many mobile games, a LOT of money will be made from this
I expect some kind of OP minmax equip/stat build to pop up quickly.

How well does it match the trope?
