For me I was under prepared to fight bonetail as I had no healing items and was using level ups as a way to heal to her, lost to her multiple times and had to rely on Flurrie, power lift, lucky day badge and a shine sprite bingo to win.
After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. My one and only Fate servent. One thing I'm happy that was added to the Pit is a Mover at the entrance that can take you to Floor 50 after you beat the Pit for the first time. At least that makes the second trek downwards less time-consuming.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."The increased coin capacity in general will make that a literal non-issue.
Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. Check out my art if you notice.Speaking of coins can I tell that insipid little rat to fuck off when he asks for seed money for his oil drilling operation?
Shitty little capitalist environmental hazard ass rodent.
You are not alone.Yeah, you don't have to give him anything. The reward is just more coins, he basically triples the amount you give him after chapter 6 (donate 100 > get 300, 200 > 600, 300 > 999).
You still can read his journal if you don't donate, which has some Easter eggs from the original Paper Mario.

It's kind of funny that the amount you give him doesn't matter, since per his journal, all his money gets stolen by Buzzar.
Bewitching Eyes
x3 and how this game gives you a 100 coins after every boss you just get a good return but make sure it's before chapter 4 as he leaves in that chapter.

After 10 year plus years I have the confidence to be here. My one and only Fate servent.I just went through the Pit of 100 Trials once again and beat the Whacka superboss. With that, I have completed the Tattle Log, and I also got all three completion trophies.
This remake was well worth the purchase, and I'll probably play through it again after I'm done with Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance.
"I squirm, I struggle, ergo I am. Faced with death, I am finally, truly alive."How do I fight Prince Mush? I went through the whole Glitz Pit again and nothing happened.
The Protomen enhanced my life. You didn't talk to him...?

Bewitching EyesSo...I never could beat the final boss in the original 20 years ago without the use of Action Replay for Game Cube...so...how difficult is the Shadow Queen?
I haven't gotten the mail yet...But I have been spending most of my time underground.
The Protomen enhanced my life.I used infinite health for my Game Cube playthroughs, what's the general strategy with her? I REALLY don't want to have to sit through a ten-minute cutscene every time I screw up.
Herd-hitting moves like Vivian or Bobbery to destroy her hands work well. I found the secret Pit boss easier cause it was only one target and only attacked once per turn.
The Protomen enhanced my life.Nearly all of the Shadow Queen's attacks are piercing, so don't bother with any defense raising badges besides Damage Dodge (which still works despite piercing) or evasion badges like the Lucky series. She also has an attack that causes status ailments, so equip Feeling Fine to avoid that. Always take out the hands with multi-hit attacks (Vivian, Bobbery, Yoshi Kid, or Koops are good for that) and when the Shadow Queen charges up then either use Vivian's Veil, Koops Shell Shield, or some Boo's Sheets to avoid her next attack.
...or go all in on a Peril Yoshi or Danger Mario set by grinding Power Rush badges at the Pianta Parlor until she dies in one round.

Just beat Bonetail for the first time ever! Flower Saver P was great with Flurrie—she could blow away enemies and Lip Lock to heal herself a lot easier!
Stage hazards helped out a lot too, especially the burning and the fog.
