-nevermind, not adding another person to the bank-
As Dragon Force took to the skies, it began breathing its powerful fire breath all around the air, seemingly at random. Ignatius had no idea if he was close to actually hitting anything, but didn't seem to care that much. It helped to kill time, at least.

Downtown Marbury - 2/5
So being permanently invisible was not, as Charlie had first thought, tantamount to being invincible. He wasn't sure if the Major had predicted where he would move or if it was a lucky shot, but he had only a second to move after seeing the guns aim at him.
"Fuck." He leaped forward near-instantly, though he wasn't sure if that was because of the implanted knowledge or his own panic.
The blast hit him from behind, pushing him forward and slamming him into the back of the tank with a 'thunk'. Grunting to himself, and ignoring the warning from his suit that the bones in his legs now resembled jello, he gripped the fortress-type suit with one hand and drew his Plasma Blade with the other. In an instant he was hacking and slashing at blinding speed, aiming to cut his way through to the Major.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Greenville College - Odin
Odin smiled as she rub rubbed the elven ears, feeling the texture beneath her fingers "Ehehe, so I see... I have experienced a bit of perfection of my own, though it kinda is of another class... If I do find more points or something perhaps one day I'll become an elf as well, look way nice girl" she says happily... though then as the two say what happened in the bank, her smile turned a bit more serious.
"Hmmm Sobek... minor Egyptian Deity. Then, you two have seen it with your own eyes, no? How this gift has fallen by chance upon those who may stumble upon it... How even idiotic low lives who would do something as stupid as to attack the police station or try to rob a bank when given this amazing power... And that's just the idiots... not even counting those who may be more scarily malignant" says Odin, allowing Freki to go off to Elise and let himself be petted nicely.
"And no, sorry, can't keep him but on his off time you may play with him" says Odin before taking a step back... facing the college to look at it "How long until one idiot is not happy with his grade and tries to blow up the library? Some mental kid gets rejected by her boyfriend and sends missiles at the dorms? Someone is against evolution and tries to destroy this sinful center of lies? Maybe someone tries to get at someone's kid who attends to school"
"All that I care about is in this college... normally I'd be helpless to do anything. But this day is anything but normal" says Odin as she makes a fist... and then, Sleipnir moves like her, making one as well "I am not Odette Alhgrenn now... I am Odin Allfather. Before I think of doing anything else with this power I've been granted, I'll claim this place as my place to protect. Tomorrow, I'll meet with the Dean and tell them I'll protect this place at all costs... and if anyone wants to mess with Greenville, then I'll blow them to hell and back without any regrets"
Then... letting out a soft breath and smiling she extends a hand towards "So... would you agree with me that this place should be protected? Is there anything in this college you want to safeguard no matter what? If so... let us make a pact. A covenant. About this power... and what to do afterwards with it... what the world may change due to it... that's way big to be able to chat about it casually. I won't ask what you intent to do with it aside from this.... but if you wish, let us ally and make a pact sorely to defend this place" then grinning more widely "Oh you know, that is if you want to protect it. If you feel like making a mess of this place, then you'll face the full might of the Allfather anytime you want"
"Aaah! Though Elise! You had to leave your suit behind? It got broken? Hmgmg that won't do it... want me to help you recover it? Is it safe? Total loss?"
"Hm, I suppose several of us have decided to name our suits after deities...I chose Izanami, myself.", Laura remarked upon hearing of Sobek.
Laura then thought about her roommate, Mary Ann, and how she was very likely to get dragged into this because of her. Besides, the college was her home too, so she might as well work with Ode- er, Odin to protect it. An ally with the reach that Odin had with a Fortress-class suit would be greatly helpful in her own little crusade as well.
"I agree with you, Odin, and I'd be willing to ally with you...so long as I can persue my own goal of purging the criminals from this town as well.", Laura said.
"Never let anyone tell you that something is impossible." - Monty Oum, 1981-2015Oh great, they even know each other, too. Matt glanced back and forth at the girls as they conversed, curiously glancing at Laura, who had apparently altered her body to be more elven, and Odin, who apparently was a much shorter girl on campus named Odette. Not that he really knew any of these ladies; Matt was one of those guys who shied away from unprompted interaction.
Well, at least Odin here can tell I'm normal, he thought to himself as a consolation while the girls talked. Laura's speech and appearance all felt...off, by his reckoning. Her apparent attention to purge a small town of its criminal element, and the fact that she willingly altered her humanity to appear like a fantasy elf, made him wary of her the second her suit folded away to reveal her new form.
But of course, he kept all this to himself. Matt wasn't about to open his mouth and get himself in trouble. At least not yet.
"So, uh, if we all go to Greenville, should we trade contact info or something?"

South Highway Bridge- 1/5
Thermosphere
Reaper breathed a sigh of relief as he managed to remain undetected due to his cloaking.
And it then seemed that "Deathwing" was breathing fire all over the air. That... wasn't very safe for Reaper, especially if he wanted to descend.
(Watch it, buddy! This ain't roasting birds!) Reaper thought to himself.
Remaining cautious, he flew towards the north end of the island to commence his attack. At least the dragon was pre-occupied with his aerial fun.
South Highway Bridge
Sever floated as it made its towards the bridge, and stopped at its west, south of the southernmost highway bridge crossing the Walker River. In an open area, it was much more visible.
It would try to look for other nearby suits within its view as it locked onto the bridge's center, becoming Reaper's eyes for him once again.
Thermosphere
Thanatos' automated music system played music in Reaper's head
, as the black jet went for the attack on the highway.
Flying in from the north, a hatch on Reaper's topside opened again as Death's Knell emerged.
(Heh. This bridge is soon going to have a huge hole in it)
Reaper proceeded to drop lower in the sky. He made sure that this time, it wouldn't get blocked by some other mech.
As his sights locked onto the side of the bridge, he fired a missile, before rising back up again into higher airspace.
The missile would impact the side of the highway bridge in order to cause a structure-damaging explosion.
South Highway Bridge
Sever, a Light Drone, was in the vicinity as it saw a missile crash into the north side of the southernmost highway bridge over the Walker River. The explosion was huge and fierce, tearing a hole in the side of the bridge and setting many cars on fire.
Whatever it is, traffic over there would be heavily disrupted, and it would be bound to cause chaos and paranoia as to who did it.
Thermosphere
(HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Traffic Jam! Those fools of humans! They're gonna suffer for what they did to me!)
Reaper laughed in his mind as he retracted Death's Knell. That would sow loads of chaos and suspicion, that it wasn't safe around here with an invisible foe.
But deep down, Reaper really didn't feel that good.
Thanatos was flying back into the lower thermosphere, cautious of Dragon Force's fire spam, seemingly at random. He avoided it to the best of his ability, but the air displacement would cause some of the flames to be blown away in a certain direction, even though Reaper and Thanatos was under cover.
This could alert Dragon Force that... something was in the air.
(Oh, damn... have I blown it?)
OOC: I am really hoping that somebody would notice this crime as I'm trying to start a scene and be proactive. With Sever being the "witness"

...ehehIgnatius noticed some of his flames were being blown away by a seemingly invisible force.
"Someone's there..." he thought.
It seemed there had to be another mech user somewhere close by. Dragon Force wasn't exactly made for tracking cloaked units, but fire happened to be a pretty powerful means of hampering stealth.
He fired another jet of flame, this time using his Heavy ability to charge it and increase its destructive power. It was headed around the direction where he saw his flames being dispersed the first time.
"Heh heh... HAHAHA! Whoever you are, I hope you will prove to be a worthy challenge!"

Okay, Nakhte had an out. As he connected with the knight he kept going, cruised off the highway, and smashed straight through the barrier down into the streets of the city. The knight and the flying horse kept pursuit up, though. The knight up close, the horse rapidly bearing down on him but turning to not suffer the g-force that Nakhte had. Nakhte took a deep breath as the knight closed with a shield bash and swerved away from that, but didn't catch the sword. Like always, he had to just minimize the hurt he would be taking. As the blade came for him Sobek shifted its weight downwards, letting the blade pierce cleanly through its shoulder, and out the other side. Fire surged through Nakhte's nervous system, but that wasn't his body, it was a tool. A tool that had just gotten into another grab. With the knight sank to the hilt, Sobek surged forward and wrapped its arms around it, placing it between him and the horse.
"Still considering that charge?!" He declared over the radio. "A real test of wills now, huh?"
Deathwing: NOPE.
Thermosphere
Thanatos' automated music system started playing music within Reaper's head
. Oh boy, this would've been a bossfight... that he would NOT want to face.
Reaper was pulling higher into the sky, not wanting to become roasted. The powered flames had almost managed to reach him, and he could feel the searing heat even though the attack was out of reach. Thankfully, his environment controls could take it.
(OH MY GOSH DEATHWING NO)
There was no response to the challenge.
Reaper wasn't the sort of person who would fight somebody head on, the dirty coward that he was.
And most importantly, he did NOT want to compromise his non-presence to most. Getting into an aerial fight was out of the question.
It was bad enough that Dragon Force had managed to notice something, and if Dragon Force's pilot was questioned by police or authorities about the "phantom attacker", he could easily report about a stealthed suit.
Again, he thought to himself, this time in a panicked state. (Sorry, Deathwing, I can't compromise this.)
Constantly checking the radar until Dragon Force left, Thanatos would then attempt to circle around the state, high in the air and beyond most detection.
Ignatius and Dragon Force, being in the air, would have seen that the southern highway bridge had taken a good hit by an explosive, and that there was a huge hole in the bridge with more of its structure collapsing into the Walker River. Flames and smoke were rising from the cars, making it even more obvious that... there was an attack by someone.

...ehehGreenville College - Odin
"I am the Great Odin... but I am still nobody to tell you how to use your powers outside of campus. Indeed, even protecting the campus is merely my own selfish agenda I took on without asking anyone about it" says Odin as she shrugs once again "If you ask me, facing bad guys with your suit sounds like a better use than blowing up banks and police stations... though using the word purge is kinda a red flag" says Odin, looking at Laura right in the eye with her own, now glowing blue one.
"But anyway, yes, so long as you are not burning down orphanages outside of campus I doubt we'll have any big problems for the moment" says Odin with a carefree tone of voice. Then she turns her attention and sole, uncovered eye to Matt "Indeed, we should exchange contact information... both through cellphones and means of contacting each other through the suits more advanced means"
"Still... you haven't really said much" she says to Matt, walking a little bit closer and leaning down to see him eye to eye "What are your thoughts on all of this?"

The hit registration was coming from a different source this time. The damage sustained was fairly heavy, but it wasn't enough to get to him.
On the contrary, this was exactly what Major needed. Sheffield was right behind him now, and he was being desperate. And a desperate person is prone to mistakes.
Such as standing still.
With AI's assistance, the duo of drones was released; one with a machine gun and the other with a pulse rifle, whirling behind the tank. Without further ado they began raining fire down on the entire rear of NOM. The bullets would do nothing to the mech itself, so it was fairly safe to just carpet-bomb it with small arms. The same most likely couldn't be said about his opponent.

And now Matt had somehow gained Odin's attention, her eye fixed on him as he looked up to meet her gaze. From his home state in the south where his family had settled, Matt didn't look up at girls often. And he certainly never looked up at a girl with one eye, who wasn't even quite real to begin with.
"Do you really want to hear my thoughts on people going nuts with powerful tech?" he answered her question with a question of his own, told in something of a sarcastic tone as he kept his expression neutral. Because I don't usually have nice things to say about other people, and this doesn't feel like an exception.

Loran made Ultimo do a sharp stop to not crash into the knightlike suit "Ack!" He felt himself pressing against the harness keeping him in place. His ribs... didn't appreciate that... to say the least. At least one just quit its duty all-together and broke, but Lorans body was to high on adrenaline to notice it. Missle-Lock! Only a short mental command, nothing more. Fire! The nice thing with VLM's was, that they avoided most obstacles pretty well (although of course things like a low ceiling nullified their usefulness) at this distance they would come in at a very sharp angle, almost from above. Loran only hoped that they wouldn't hit the knight.

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"Greenville College - Odin
"Yeah, I wanna hear it" she says, grinning as she keeps looking straight at him "It varies from time to time... but you can get a measure of a person better by their words than their appearance, wouldn't you say? If you're a student here and have your own Garb then I really want to know what you think of all this"
Then Odin, giving a little look at Laura's information with her eye would instantly send to her phone number a text message with her own cellphone number as Odette... and then to her suit, a means or frequency so they can communicate at a distance.
Air
Dragon Force took some time to reload his fire breath and punched his lightning Power Fists together, pissed off. He circled round and round the city, wildly swinging his fists around with such abandon that he ended up frying several flocks of birds in his way. Those poor little pigeons.
This continued for a while until Ignatius eventually got bored of these shenanigins. His mystery opponent could be anywhere in the air right now, and without some sort of lead, going after him would likely be a waste of his time at the moment. He looked down at the bridge and noticed the carnage that had been left in the wake of... something. He didn't know if this was related to the invisible fighter currently in the sky, but surely this was the work of a mecha. Either way, it left a bad taste in his mouth. There was no point killing people who couldn't defend themselves. He wanted to find an opponent who could fight back, but so far it seemed most of the other mecha were piloted by cowards who were unwilling to fight someone who could present a real challenge, or self-righteous heroes who would rather use their powers to protect the weak. At least that Sven fellow seemed to have a fighting spirit.
Bridge Collapse
He didn't do anything to help the situation at the bridge collapsing, deigning to ignore it entirely. For now, he decided to zoom away from the collapsed bridge and towards a forest near the coast. After checking to see if anyone was there and finding nobody, he decided to promptly set it on fire. Was he paranoid and trying to snuff out potential hidden suits, trying to get the attention of other mechs, taking out his anger after his prey escaped him, or was he just batshit crazy? Nobody knew.

Matt took a second to write down Laura's contact info on his phone, glancing at her warily before returning his gaze to Odin.
"To be completely honest...I'm not sure any of us are being healthy about this." And so he began to speak more as he stepped back to get a wider view of the three girls with him, gesturing at Laura first.
"Laura here immediately goes elf and starts babbling about 'purging the criminal element' or some Death Note crap. If all she needed was a weird little box to fall out of the sky to get that done, I'm not exactly going to give my full confidence towards her mental health."
Then he gestured to Elise. "This lady apparently got into a fight with an even crazier person blowing up a police department, so there are others out there already looking for a fight with super-advanced tech." He scoffed. "Like that is going to end well."
"And you." he said directly to Odin. "You're already babbling about being a deity, playing patron god over a college, and approving of the freaky shit we're doing to ourselves like elf-lady over there has."
Matt sighed at what he was pointing out. "Even I got something implanted in my brain so I could play Iron Man and remote-control my armor. And I hate going under for surgery..." And with all that said, he looked right into Odin's eye.
"So do you really think this little playtime is gonna work out for any of us, Allfather?" The way he said "Allfather" made the title seem like one befitting a court fool.

Odin stared at Matt for a nice long while... that is, right before she let out a little laugh and then smiled "Aaahh... to find someone with a good head on their shoulders. Well, sometimes we got psychos, some times we get decent people"
"So... will you be handing your Garb over to the authorities? Police are probably way over their heads with this... to the army, then? Government? That would probably be the responsible thing to do, no?"

Matt inhaled sharply at Odin's question.
Well...that was surprisingly thoughtful of the lady calling herself the Allfather... Blinking uncertainly, he glanced away from the inquiring so-called goddess.
"I mean, it would be...it should be...the responsible thing to do. But..." Here he gripped one of the straps keeping Kulay-Abo on his back. "I...I don't know. I mean, it's mine, isn't it...?"

"Indeed... it is yours. And nobody can tell you what to do with it. Well, not really. They can coax you. To do the right thing. They can intimidate you. They can threaten you or try to take you out in order to take your power... either to destroy it or make it their own. In the end however, by sheer luck if there is no other reason why these boxes landed right before us, this power is yours... and by it, you're currently standing above the regular person. You have something they don't... possibly something that can't even be taken away so easily by the armed branch of society" says Odin evenly... taking a step back... sitting upon the stairway to her mech, bidding Geri to come over for her to caress.
"The rest of humanity has a right to fear this power... after all, it is something beyond their means, put into the hands of random people. The government too... they wield a lot of power, real and soft, over this world and it's people. To them, to the people they protect, to their interest... having a bunch of people capable of giving them problems is likely quite a bother. They'll likely either try to take us out or take our suits... to be used by them, most likely. This power could be used by them for a lot of good... or bad, as well. Imagine if some of the more radical elements in the army or government had access to these machines? If it was the Russian, Chinese even North Korea who had access to something like this? Can you trust that with such an ultimately, balance upsetting power, anyone would act responsibly?"
"In the end, this world is made entirely out of people like us. World leaders, scientists, politicians, soldiers... they are all people like you and me. I don't know if the question of who would be more worthy of using such a power is the right one. I won't say I'll act out of any right... any higher calling, any morals. I'm just a selfish girl on a power trip. If a guy comes over to kill everyone on campus cause he's pissed, I won't say I'm righteous and good to stop and kill them. I'll just do it cause I want to do it... I don't know about bigger morals. I'll do with this power what I want and what concerns my own conscience... and right now, I'm just worried that some maniacs may come kill people I care about here and mess up my dorm, so I'm acting to stop that from happening. If people are against my actions, then I'll take them on... whenever it is by words or by using this might if I don't have any other resource. That's all there is to it. I won't say I'm right to do it... but neither will I say I'm wrong. The government and people may hate me or oppose me... they may agree with me. It would be nice if it's the second one... however, I just know one thing"
"Sleipnir is mine... by it's power I became something more than a simple human girl. I call myself Odin now, specifically because I stepped outside of that mold... to acknowledge that I made a choice and decided to become something more... something that may be outside of the laws of man. What I do and the consequences for it are just mine to bear. No matter what, I'm not giving up Sleipnir" she finally concludes... taking a moment to take a breath before she looks at Matt "Will you give up yours? Get off the wild ride? Accept the edict of the Laws of Man and safely go back to comfort? Or will you take a risk and see if you can leave a mark... make your will upon this world, for good or ill?"
Greenville College
"I assure you, I'm perfectly in my right state of mind, Matthew.", Laura said as she added Odette's number to her contacts on her iPhone. "I have no desire to give up Izanami. The message said for us all to not squander what we've been given, so I wish to use it to make a difference in this town. Whether or not you agree with my stance though is up to you."

"Will you give up yours? Get off the wild ride? Accept the edict of the Laws of Man and safely go back to comfort? Or will you take a risk and see if you can leave a mark... make your will upon this world, for good or ill?"
These words rattled in Matthew's brain for what seemed like hours before he could begin thinking of his response. Odin was exceeding some of his expectations, acknowledging her own madness in light of this situation, and disappointingly meeting others, such as her willingness to embrace her madness and place Greenville under her protection for much the same reason kings protected borders, rather than for any higher moral calling. As someone who thought himself a devout Catholic (although certainly not a perfect one), this bothered Matt a great deal.
And then there was the choice she seemed to lay out before him: turn over Kulay-Abo to authorities and let them deal with it, or go do crazy shit with Odin and her new buddies. And frankly...Matt didn't really feel like that was a proper dichotomy.
"Well, I'm not letting anyone take Kulay-Abo from me," he began. "But I'd have to be really crazy to go and play with you guys. If you actually need me for something, I'll be there. But I wanna know what the hell is really going on."

Also, don't know what play you're talking about" says Odin with a grin, stretching her arms wide "I'm just going to keep this place safe for now"
Then addressing all of them "Well then, it seems like we have no problems here. None of us wish harm for this place and I'd say all of us are willing to protect it. We have means of communicating... so there's the basis for at least a basic covenant here. If you wish, at another time, we may talk of a more serious alliance... though for now, I'm quite satisfied"

He slashed and slashed, carving a hole into the back of the tank, but before he could force his way in the bullets started.
"FuckfuckfuckfuckFUCKFUCK" He cursed to himself, desperately trying to force his way in. He rammed the broken mess of armor plating he'd created with his shoulder, smashing through the armor and getting himself wedged in it's inner workings, just deep enough to keep himself away from the storm. He lay there, surrounded by metal, as his HUD flashed rapidly.
Massive damage to everything. His suit was torn to pieces and his body was broken.

Outside the bank
Vincent, happy that no one else seemed to be attacking the bank anymore, walked outside. It had evaded his sight earlier, but there was another suit somewhere in the distance, plasma shield raised.
Are...they friendly?
He decided to risk it. What's the worst that could happen from contacting them via radio? He tuned into multiple frequencies, trying to contact the other suit.
"Um, hello? Are you one of the good guys, or one of those people who think that just because they have these suits, it gives them the right to do whatever they feel like?"
Vincent sincerely hoped it was the former.
