Marbury, 79 Onramp -> Downtown
Loran still charged behind Sobek, occasionally firing the missiles. Though he didn't expect any hits by now, he just wanted to slow Sobek's advance down by forcing him to dodge them, to give the other mech time to retreat to safer grounds. The drones, guided by Aicha, fired their particle beams in salvos, hoping to score a lucky hit.

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives""Well, the first mech guy I met near a river seems like a friendly." Luiz replied in radio to Tony. "Dunno how things are going on the others parts, but if I have to guess..shitty. And there's some white dragon guy flying nearby. I hope he isn't a hostile."
He then turned his attention back to Neil, giving a quiet "Thank you very much" as the Basilisk crouched down, as he found having to look up to the thing uncomfortable.
"Nuh-uh. Not a psychopath. Just got very two times lucky, one in getting this armour and two in my first meeting with a mech guy being a friendly." He responded to Neil
"Hey, it's awkward for you to look up at this, and it's awkward for me to look down at you. This thing's pretty fucking strong. I imagine it could do very, very nasty things to a human with little effort. You gotta be responsible with this much power..."
Neil's eyes flicked over to his radar. A few contacts, nothing notable.
"Guess that just makes me regular lucky then," he joked. "Because my first mech also didn't try to murder me."
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Marbury PD
"Okay, so that guy's just a massively edgy dickweed." Muttered Robin as Sobek stormed off.
After a moment spent fiddling with some controls, Tiberius surged with power as Robin overcharged the suit. Really didn't want to use this so early, but, better late than never
And with that, Tiberius charged after Sobek with little heed for any obstructions.
Marbury, 79 Onramp
As Tiberius made its way to the 79 Onramp, Roland took a moment to survey the situation before offering his advice. "Our quarry seems to be fighting on its lonesome, if we time this right, we should be able to end its reign of terror quickly."
"My recommendation would be to charge in and beat on him until candy comes out"
Robin grinned "Let's kick some ass. Care to do the honours?"
"Gladly"
As Tiberius began gunning towards Sobek, Roland's voice roared a single, powerful, word through Tiberius' speakers "JUSTICE!"
As the knightly mech closed with Sobek, Tiberius would bring Stormbringer down in a sweeping, overhead arc aimed at Sobek's right arm.
79 Southbound
"Oh hell." Sobek would love to dodge more of those missiles, but it was having a hell of a time just keeping track of its latest adversary, a mech slower and heavier than even him. As the knight approached and brought down its attack Sobek weaved out of the way, letting the sword scrape against its armor before shifting across the highway and over the barrier. He took some particle beams full in the back for his troubles, but at least got out of the way of more falling artillery. With energy beams raining down Sobek lined up more shots and started opening up on the attack drones, trying to pick off lesser threats before working on the big predators.
"Yeah, I know what you mean about power, even though this is awesome, I could outrun with ease both a Train and Ferrari at the same time while wearing this armor, and I don't think seeing the effects of a normal person being cut down by a Plasma Blade would not be pleasant for me to see at all...though the same couldn't being said about the locos around here acting like a saturday morning villain or wanting to kill people."
Luiz then shrugged. "Guess we're both lucky to meet here, huh?"

Marbury, 79 Onramp -> Downtown
One of the shots destroyed the com system of one of the Königsbergs and another hit one of the other drones dead center, effectively disabling both of them. Loran didn't care though, he just made a small marker on the Map-Interface to remember where to retrive them later. The Particle Beams the drones fired weren't even that damaging, only their quantity made them dangerous. He saw Sobek chaning the lane after evading the strike from the Knightlike Mech that also was pursuing him.
"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives""Same here," replied Neil. "The thing said for speed that 5 was sports car. I'm 6. Not to brag, but I am probably one of the fastest things in this city. Probably about as fast as you, given what you're talking about."
Another nervous check of the radar. Little change. Gunshots and blasts off in the city.
"Well... these boxes... they represent power. And power corrupts. Makes sense that at least one of these boxpeople would go kill-crazy. I'm assuming most are, given how quickly things have degraded. Explosions everywhere. I can hear weapons fire. Social media is incinerating."
He was surprised the Internet was still functional. But the city had two or three ISPs. Killing Bridgewater would only kill a third of Marbury's web. And it wasn't as big a deal as all of the wanton violence going on.
"I'd say we're lucky to meet and not want to kill each other. And on that whole meeting thing... should probably exchange pleasantries, shouldn't we?"
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""Okay then," Daniel responded. "Um, I recently moved to Little Ze— WHAT THE HELL?!?"
The sudden change in sentence was due to what looked like two missiles headed for the bank.
I have a shot at surviving the missile blasts, Daniel thought to himself, activating the plasma shield as he raced to the entrance. But those people don't.
With his suit blocking the entrance and the shield up, he braced for impact.
How beaten-up will Daniel end up after this?
"Oh, right. Name's Luiz Dominguez. I live kinda close to the river with my sister. And you are?"
He asked Neil...though the mention about explosions and weaponfire nearby concerned him about a maniac appearing out of nowhere with a suit and attempting to kill them.

"They are from what I can see. Lots of smoke and explosions coming from Downtown, and the 79 is a real clusterfuck from here." Tony said, pausing a bit at the mention of a white dragon.
"Huh... You mean, the one that's doing a barrel roll right now?" He inquired as he made his machine perform the aerial maneuver, looking down as he scanned the landscape for other suits.
"Neil Findlay. Don't mind the drone on my back, she's..."
He paused for a moment. They hadn't talked much, disregarding his spiel about being Will Smith. And she was being quite quiet. Maybe she was scanning for possible targets. Or not doing anything at all.
"One moment." Neil cut the speakers. "Uh, Miss AI... do you even have a name? Have you decided on one, or..." he asked of Serenity. This wasn't really something he had thought much about, but then again, he had far more pressing matters to attend to.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Luiz nodded as Neil asked him to wait for a moment, and then the guy on the radio asked him if the dragon robot was doing a barrel roll right now.
And unless his eyes tricked him, it certainly was right now.
"Yup. It is. " Luiz responded to Tony on the radio. "Guess you are the guy inside that thing, huh? Look for a very tall mecha and a robo-samurai with a white ponytail around the river. I'm the latter, by the way. God knows we need a sane mecha meeting right now"

Greenvale Campus
Jess had done a pretty good job, not intentionally, scaring off a bunch of students. Fear of tentacle rape had definitely seemed to increase in the last few years. Jess's music continued to blast out around her, when she was suddenly assaulted by a voice that seemed to come in clear to her mind. She definitely heard it inside her, but somehow she could tell that the person wasn't around her.
"What the fuck? The hell are you talking about?...I guess they weren't wrong, all the crazies are coming out tonight. Fine, you wanna step to me, then try saying it to my face. We can have a nice little chat..."
Jess fixed her tentacles into the side of the campus's tallest building and began to climb it with ease, making her way to the roof, where she would be waiting to meet whoever would be wanting to.

In the Mountains at the limits of Greenville College - Odin sitting on her Throne
As Jess climbs onto a building, a little drone would suddenly appear as if from nothingness right before her... a sleek flying machine floating as if by magic from which came another communication "We may speak on this location through the means of my winged messenger... however, if you wish to see me eye to eye, you'll have to follow Munnin. Unlike you, I care about keeping the peace on this realm... and my vessel cannot walk inconspicuously through the fields without disturbing them"
Nearly at the same time... as Elise walked into the campus, when she made a turn and got to a section where there were no students to see she'd suddenly see a mechanical wolf suddenly jumping in her way... from which, a communication came "Hail, owner of a garb of immortals. You walk now upon a realm under the protection of the Allfather herself. In order to keep the peace that seems to be lost on the greater part of this land, I'd like to meet up with you... to know your intentions upon this humble realm of learning"
Kapink. The tin can fell to ground, with a dent near the center of the red ring painted on its side. Sam readjusted his air soft rifle, taking aim at the can next to the first. Giving the trigger a squeeze, the rifle fired. Kapink. The can again fell, landing in the dirt next to the other. Letting go of the rifle, he set it down in the grass next to him. Putting his hands together, he cracked his knuckles. Sam crouched down, picking up his gun. Putting the stock against his shoulder, he takes aim at the final can. Taking a deep breath, he closes his left eye. With the sight trained directly on the ring, Sam puts his finger on the trigger and begins to pull.
BRRRRRRRRIINGGGGG!!!!!!
Sam pulls the trigger in suprise. The shit goes far left of the can, hitting a tree several feet away.
BRRRRRRRRIINNNNNNGGG!!!!!
With a sigh of relief, Sam clicks on the safety and drops his rifle. Reaching into his pocket, he pulls out his phone. Touching the green icon on the screen, he puts the device to his ear.
"Hello? Oh, hey Mom. Milk? Okay, I'll pick it up on my way back. Love you too. See you in a bit."
Sam puts his phone back in his pocket. Reaching down, he picks his rifle up. Wrapping it's strap around his arm, he once again puts the rifle against his shoulder. Clicking off the safety, he looks down the sight. Once the can is between the bars, Sam puts his finger on the trigger. With a deep sigh, he pulls the trigger. Ka BAM!!!
The can is crushed by a black cube, steaming with heat. Sam drops his gun in disbelief. "What the fuck?!?" Inching foward, he picks up a stick. His hand shaking, he pokes the box. Without a reaction, he pokes it again. Cocking his head, he drops the stick. Catiously, he slowly moves his hand toward the cube.
ORGANIC LIFE DETECTED. LEVEL OF SENTIENCE ACCEPTED. BRAINWAVES ACCEPTED. BIOLOGY ACCEPTED. NEW PILOT ACCEPTED.
Sam backs away from the cube. A holographic screen appears, with the words 200 RESOURCES TO ASSIGN. ENTER NEW USER SETTINGS NOW. appearing on the screen.
Sam cautiously approaches the screen. "Holy shit." Scanning through all the selections, he gives a low whistle. "Jesus. What the hell is all of this?" He eventually starts tapping on the screen, choosing his selections. Finishing, the screen goes dark, with a chilling message on it.
DO NOT SQUANDER WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN.
"Alright. I won't."
Several Hundred Meters away from the Outerbelt 79
"Well, shit."
Sam, now fully encased in Harlock, zooms in on the group near the highway. From his vantage point on the roof of a building, he could make out several armored suits.
"Other people with Cube Suits. Damn."

The measure of a man is not his courage, but rather the size of his gun.So these fuckers were just normal kids who weren't worth his time. Fuck.
Charlie turned and started gliding away again, looking for more big mechs. Those explosions downtown looked like a safe bet. So Downtown he went, fast as he could.
He hit 79 and pulled up his Hawkeye view. He could see two robots, the same ones from the police station. Not them. So he turned and kept heading towards downtown, pulling up his radar and chasing another big signal. Soon he saw it.
A tank. Of course the military guy builds a fucking tank. Sighing, Charlie aimed his bow and nocked an arrow. Thank god for infinite invisibility. Now, where do I shoot you... Thermal vision wasn't helping. At that size there was no clear picture of where in the tank the pilot was. Getting inside it would be the best option, but he couldn't risk being blown to bits. Unless... implanted military training took over and chose another option.
It seemed that the tank was preparing a weapon. So he took aim at the base of the Sharpshooter, and let fly his arrow, intending to destroy the gun. The instant his right hand let go of the bow, he was moving, circling around to the back of the tank, and preparing another arrow. Hit and run, and he'd be safe. Charlie grinned.
What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?Elise had just catch a glimpse of someone up on top of the tallets campus building, and indeed it has 4 tentacles all around, pretty scary to be honest fam.
Elise nearly tripped herself over when she looked forward again and saw a dog in front of him. Well, the dog looked more like a wolf considering how big he is. Elise do like dogs, but she prefer cats,
"Hey cute doggy," she said cautiously before it barked about something. She did not really catch all of that and the little words that she did catch just sounded nonsensical to her, so Elise simply said as she pet the dog "Uh, sure, where do you want to go?"

With practiced skill and ease, Red Bull pulled the lance back from the thrust and struck towards its blind spot, where the blade was being aimed. Catching the blow, the tip of the lance gleamed before causing a small but intense explosion, creating a small amount of space between the two combatants.
"Nice try, angel, but you'll have to wake up earlier than that to surprise the great Red Bu—" Before he could finish, he spotted an incoming missile. Raising the shield, the burst sent him reeling but luckily not too badly damaged.
A third one?! The fight wasn't worth it. It was time to execute Plan Blast Off. "So this is a coward's fight then?" The frantic typing was muted by the soft keys, as Adam's eyes darted back and forth between his two visible attackers. He kept his eyes on Izanami but made sure his radio was synced up with Raptor's. "Two nosy self-righteous pricks get up in my face while you have a third friend take potshots at the building? Hope you assholes have the money to pay for the repairs."

Having been pushed off the blow, Vincent realized it would be hard going trying to get past that shield.
Alright Vincent, this guy's bigger than you. But the bigger they are...
Using his suit's dexterity and manoeuvring rockets, he dashes over to behind Red Bull, aiming a well placed cross cut towards the tauric suit's hind legs, looking to destabilize the suit.

Bank: Death From Above
"I did not invite these other suit users into this fight, but I don't mind their assistance. After all, this is not cowardice, but rather strength in numbers.", Laura replied.
She was about to ready an attack on Red Bull with her Plasma Rifle, but then her suit's HUD alerted her to the oncoming missiles headed right for the bank.
"I suppose it would be best if I left now. After all, my time in this town is far from over...but I believe yours is.", she said before speeding off and away from the bank before the missiles were to hit.

Sven had the raven stand in the parking lot as he heard the continued sounds of battle echo around
"this place became a war zone faster than yugoslavia, I wonder if the government is going to bring the hammer down on this place once they find out a bunch of people with robots are running rampant and high on power"
then he looked up at the hospital and shook his head
"ah well, I suppose I am one of them. Should see if any other pilots are already here"
he did his usual method of getting attention and fired a single round from his pulse rifle up into the air.
Bank: Raptors Are Extinct, Bulls Aren't. Coincidence? The Answer May Surprise You.
Adam growled as Izanami stole his idea and retreated. At least there was a moral victory to all this.
A victory that was short lived as Raptor's attack outsped the reflexes of Red Bull's AI. The blow hadn't landed perfectly but it shredded the left rear leg. Tauric Mode would be borderline useless in this state.
"Right, that does it!" Slamming his chest, Adam activated the transformation routine. The entire back half of Red Bull folded forward, to create wings and expose a monstrously sized exhaust. "Time to teach you a lesson!"
Adam cranked the boost as high as it would go, sending huge billowing flames from the rear exhaust, hoping to set the annoying assailant ablaze. If that was not enough to dissuade his opponent, they would find themselves disoriented by a barrage of terrible infomercials being beamed directly into their mind by Spider.

Marbury Downtown
"He's going straight for me, so you can have that covered."' Was the response as his tank began pulling out of the Siege Mode, slowly regaining the precious ability to move around. Falcon was certain that there was no hope in escaping; he could either blow his enemy up to pieces or dissuade him from further fighting.
He reloaded the big guns while preparing the Sharpshooter. It was not the ideal weapon for close combat encounters, but while his cannons could presumably be used at shorter ranges, there was splash damage to consider. NOM began riding backwards as the scout drone kept up with Sobek, letting James keep firing, this time with two small mortars.
