Also, good thing Archie's as much of a chick magnet as he's a doom magnet. (Though Archie x Jellbean is a cursed ship.)
That finale.
It reminds me of my books where the whole town gets quarantined. Didn't end well for the guy orchestrating the quarantine.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.I assumed she did, but then everyone left her place without ever following up on the ominous undertones to the way she spoke about Penny.
That's an issue. Like, if she did kill Penny, then Penny can't exactly pop up in Riverdale to cause a fuss about it next season or some shit, and it's not like this scene took place in Riverdale where someone could just happen to discover it later. I feel like if they wanted to have some big dramatic fallout over Jughead's mom committing cold-blooded murder here, the window of opportunity flew right by.
So that, to me, says Penny's probably alive and we're just meant to assume Jug's mom killed her to make it more surprising when she shows up again down the road.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.If she didn't kill her, that would be twice that Penny has been maimed by a member of the Jones family.
Actually, it's pretty interesting that neither Penny nor Jughead brought up the fact that Jughead scarred Penny first and her injuring him was retaliation.

I found a Ginger Lopez comic in an old digest that used to be a Cheryl Blossom comic, and comparing the two is bizarre and kinda creepy—there's name changes, jokes that don't work, and stuff that wasn't changed. The Cheryl comic was the first issue in her third series, dated April 1997, while Ginger's story was from Laugh Digest #174 in June 2002.
Has Ginger showed up in the show? This kind of retconny stealing-someone's-life stuff is perfect soap opera material XD According to Comicvine and Wikipedia, Ginger was intended to replace Cheryl Blossom, so they recolored the hair and changed the names in old stories. But people didn't like that so Cheryl came back and Ginger stopped being a Cheryl clone.

The Protomen enhanced my life.Ginger was a River Vixen and a part of Cheryl's entourage in season 1.She and Cheryl's other friend Tina got booted off the squad by Cheryl when they refused to cast a vote for who would lead the Biden's during Homecoming between Cheryl and Veronica.
New trailer
Hal's back it seems.
It seems that Hiram is bent on turning Riverdale into his own little pocket dystopia. To what end I have no idea.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.- Of course Archie gets attacked by a bear.
- Well that quarantine amounted to nothing.
- Okay what was the point of having Jughead kick Toni and Cheryl out of the Serpents over a Faberge Egg that Veronica just ended up destroying to spite her dad?
- Why didn't it occur to Veronica to ask the Serpents for help before this?
- I think this season has done a good job of rehabilitating Archie's character with how well it has had him admit to his mistakes.
- Did anyone else actually buy that Hal was the original Gargoyle King for a minute?
- Don’t stand to close to the glass Elizabeth.
- Archie the Red is no more. Behold, Archie the Dark.
- And Archie the Dark is gone. Archie the Red is back.
- Wait when was Tall boy supposed to have been dead before this episode?
- Well Claudius turned out to be pointless, didn't he?
- And now FP is the sheriff. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the town of Riverdale is as messed up as Gotham.
We can say that it's as screwed up as Gotham when Penguin, Joker, and Mr. Freeze rule the streets.

Yeah true, it seems the Gargoyle King going by the whole Tall Boy thing I'm thinking its a cyclical identity. To self reference, kind of like my own "Lord Eclipse", a masked supervillain who is many people occupying one identity.
The Gargoyle King likewise is many people - Tall Boy is just the most recent. He might've even been different people each time we've seen him.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.How the Hell do you survive getting shot in the chest? Did the killer use the weakest gun ever?
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Being shot is not automatically a death sentence. If 50 Cent can survive being shot nine times, it's not unrealistic for Hiram to survive one bullet to the chest. Especially if the bullet missed his heart.
We're getting a Katy Keene musical spin off.
They really need to recheck the maple syrup or tje water or something, that's like the third serial killer that town has.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. So who tried to shoot Hiram that Archie ended up stopping? I think it was one of those guys Veronica fired.
It's nice to see Archie is getting back into music. Thanks Josie.
Isn't the stuff at the bar not alcoholic? Since Veronica wanted it to be a hangout and all. If it was, Reggie wouldn't be allowed to work there.
I think Hiram was actually conscious when Archie tried to shoot him, but pretended to be asleep.
It seems like Tall Boy was one of many Gargoyle Kings, and maybe someone else will take up the name. He admitted to being the one that visited Betty's house, but there could be other ones out there. After all, we still haven't seen the leader of the Ghoulies. The rest of Hiram's Legion of Doom have all been disposed of (except Red Dahlia).
I think it was supposed to be Sheriff Mineta.
So are they setting up an Archie/Josie relationship?
That's going to be awkward given he dated Valerie.
It was Minetta, you see him with the arm wound from Archie's gun at the end.
Looks like Josie's going to be moving on to bigger and better things in the Katy Keene spin off.
Hopefully, she gets treated better there than in Riverdale.
Ok, now we know that the Gargoyle King is a legacy character I think the OG Gargoyle King from accession night is either Mary Andrews or Gladys Jones since those are the only adult characters who are both still alive and not part of the Midnight Club. (Well, and Nana Rose, but that would be stupid beyond belief.)
Archie x Josie is nice and cute. Since Josie is going to be part of the Katy Keene spinoff I wonder what will drive them apart. Maybe this is just another fling like she had with Sweet Pea?
And I just know Cheryl is going to refer to the new gang as the P.P.'s at one point.
Also, I hope they don't retcon Toni's sexuality too.

What was with all the main teen couples deciding to have sex that very night? I get this was Moose and Kevin’s First Time but did the others really not have anything to do other than get it on?
I was kind of worried Toni being kicked out of the gang would be ignored. Glad to see that wasn’t the case. Now what the hell this gang is actually going to do is another question?
So now we have Jughead’s mom and sister in the mix of this season’s already bloated group of villains?
Reggie getting splattered with ink may just be the funniest moment in this entire season.
And now Archie’s kissing Josie. I’d worry about him dating his way past all three Pussycats but Mel and Valerie haven’t been seen since episode eleven of season 2.
This Gargoyle King business is reminding me of the multiple Green Goblins in the Spider-Man comics.
And really? Moose’s dad had feelings for Kevin’s dad? They’re really hammering home this idea that history is repeating itself in Riverdale.
"I'm coco bananas for you!"
"My TT has fallen."
There is no way Madelaine Petsch is being paid enough to say lines like this.
