Too bad Tamers have only 1 Digimon... I had a funny idea for a second line but as is it won't trump the one I have now.
Edit: I just changed the Digimon for now, if Rhyme violently oppoeses that I can change it back later.

"One may feel fear in the face of danger so long as one banishes fear when danger actually arrives"As long as you too don't overlap I'm OK with any machine digimon as a Rookie. As I said in the sign up, as long as your line makes sense I won't get too hung up on canon.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.Is this game still open? Cause this looks really interesting. Wouldn't know which Digi-Egg to choose though, probably Knowledge because it looks like Reliability (under its Japanese name of Faith, I don't know the Japanese versions very well) is already taken.
...and someone seems to have already grabbed FanBeemon and half of the Hagurumon line that I wanted to use.
Guess I have to find something else.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I'm trying to find a good bug-like Digimon to use cause it seems that Knowledge encompasses insectoid Digimon. Someone already snatched up FanBeemon though (which was the one I would've chosen) so I'm not sure.
I also would've chosen the Hagurumon line (going up to Guardromon, then Andromon, then HiAndromon, Armoring into Kenkimon and Bursting into Machinedramon. But someone already grabbed Kenkimon as an Armor, and someone already grabbed MetalKoromon/Choromon and Kapurimon/Caprimon as their Fresh and In-Training forms.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I considered Kunemon. But according to Wikimon, its "canonical" Digivolution is Flymon, which is... freaky-looking, to say the least. I could say that it goes to Kuwagamon, but I'm hesitant to choose a line (Kunemon > Flymon/Kuwagamon > Okuwamon > GranKuwagamon) which is particularly "evil". GranKuwagamon's description on Wikimon says he's "especially evil among the Insect digimon" and that he's the "Demon of the Deep Forest". Not sure if that'd work for a "good guy" character.
I'm thinking Leafmon > Minomon > Kunemon > Honeybeemon (Armor) / Kuwagamon > Okuwamon > GranKuwagamon > AncientBeetlemon (Burst).

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I'd be worried about ripping off Izzy then (though he's like my favorite character from the original show so...
).
Same with Wormmon and Ken.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Perhaps I could use the Kuwagamon line, and have my character (who I'm naming Haru Higurashi) be really uptight and high-strung while his partner Kunemon is a little imp, so Haru has to keep reining him in.
I am a bit worried though about this being too similar to another character who signed up with FanBeemon, they said they wanted the Rookies to be unique.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.Well we never really filled a personality area for the Digimon so it's hard to tell if it'll be anything similar.
All I know is that I'm definitely having a master-servant relationship going between my tamer and mon, mostly because for Kaede it will be the first time someone will be deadset on pleasing her instead of the opposite.
I might switch up my line to something more turtle-themed (perhaps Kamemon?) to go with the whole Ebonwumon thing, but I doubt that has anything to do with Knowledge. But I like turtles.
Plus it kind of fits my character concept of him being really shy and hiding "in his shell" so to speak.
I'm thinking Pichimon > Chapmon > Kamemon > Archelomon (Armor) > Gwappamon > Shawjamon > Jumbo Gamemon > Ebonwumon (Burst).

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither.I do want the Digimon's personality to be written down somewhere. Hmm... Would people be OK with editing their character sheets.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.I much prefer the personality remain the same. Character development can occur with Digovolution of course, but the new outlook will remain after they revert to Rookie or lower.
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing. Here's my character sheet.
- Tamer: Haru Higurashi
- Digimon Line: Kame-kun
- Fresh: Pichimon
- Baby: Chapmon
- Rookie: Kamemon
- Champion: Gwappamon
- Armor: Digmon
- Ultimate: Shawjamon
- Mega: Jumbo Gamemon
- Burst: Ebonwumon
- Digi-Egg: Knowledge
- Tamer Bio: Haru is an amateur game designer, taking classes at a high school in Tokyo. While he was doing routine programming and AI testing for his game he came across a strange AI that did not conform to the data he had programmed into his game. At first he was worried it might be a virus, but it seemed benign and didn't do much. Since the graphic it called up resembled a little turtle, he nicknamed the AI "Kame-kun" and studied its "behavior" while he continued work into his game. One evening, however, when he was digging deep into the code to fix a particularly nasty bug, a QR code popped up and he scanned it with his phone. The phone turned into a Digivice and, in a frightening turn of events, reality seemed to come apart. In the confusion, a Kamemon erupted from the distortion, claiming to be his partner Kame-kun from the game.
- Age: 19
- Tamer Personality: Haru is cripplingly shy and rarely talks to people that he doesn't trust. However, He is incredily intelligent, considered a prodigy by his school for his programming skills. Deep down, he's a sensitive and caring soul, but few people get to see this due to how much he hides himself from the world.
- Digimon Personality: Kame-kun is quiet and soft-spoken much like Haru, but unlike Haru he is gentlemanly to whoever he meets. Due to being "born" from Haru's game code he often asks questions about the real world that people find difficult to answer. He can be a bit of an elephant's child with his many questions, but he makes it clear he wants to learn as much as he can.
- Character Appearence/Character Art: Haru is pale, with somewhat unkempt black hair down to his neck and deep brown eyes. He's thin with a rounded face, and he often wears hooded jackets over T-shirts and jeans. He rarely stands completely upright, despite being rather tall, and he usually wears his hood over his head when he's out in public due to his distrust of people.
I know you said that "unless explicitly stated" everyone gets their partners from Ms. Alpsam, but I don't know what exactly you meant by "unless explicitly stated" so I'm not sure if I'm allowed to have already gotten my partner.

I can still hail the Horde even though the company has shamed us. Strength and Honor even if Blizzard has neither. You can already have a partner but the means of Kame-Kun arriving doesn't fit my plans in how Digimon arrive here. I do like the way your character encountered Kame-Kun online. Just he should arrive in a distortion rather than a portal out of the computer .
The Crystal Caverns A bird's gotta sing.

Dukemon Crimson Mode is fine as a Burst as well.
Newfie, Rhyme, and I are discussing the Biomerge/Burst rules at the moment. We'll let you know our plans once it's sorted out.
Shadow?
