Carol is the second best thing about the whole series, yes. She would be the best if Misuzu wasn't the perfect flavor of bitter.
@Myssa Rei: Oh it does feel good just reading it daily/waiting and coning back to a lot of it.
Not sure what to make of the latest translated chapters. Was the captain just saving face, or is this him being formally written out of the game in a "I admire her platonically" way?
What's also a treat for this kind of series is the fanservice isn't the loudest thing in the room. Boobs and butt jokes are still there, but the series as a whole is fairly restrained with TNA. Heck, there hasn't been a boob fondling scene in a hot-spring, which is excellent.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Three of the manga I am following are weeks behind the raws. A bit of confusion and siliness is managable compared to that, at least.
Latest updates are centered around the physical examinations. Because women with their boobles and weight, am I right?
This is Misuzu at her best, though. Even if she comes off as mature and level-headed, she's no better than most of the cast deep down.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018We're now headed to a gaming session with Tomo and Jun at Jun's house. Heart-pounding excitement oh me oh my.
It would come eventually, but it's a little sad we finally got our "lady feeling up another's boobies to check the size because women" moment. It's tame, but myneergh.

"Curry killed the pussy hoping that I could kill the hate in you" - Curry, D. "TABOO | TA13OO." TA13OO, PH, 2018Been following this for a while now. Didn't realise we had a thread, and I found it while checking if we had a page for the series. Well, it's not a long thread.
I'm agreeing with the general consensus. Carol and Misuzu are great. The amount troll contained within those two is astounding, with two completely different approaches to it. The worst (read: best) part about Carol is that you can never really tell if she's sincere, an idiot, or trolling, since a lot of the time all of those are viable options. She also has very pinchable cheeks.
Check out my fanfiction!Yeah, she's so sincere when she tells Tomo she'll get expelled if she fails the test. It's part of her charm. I also like it that she doesn't really complain when they punish her for it.
Check out my fanfiction!Well now, certainly revelations.
So Carol is apparently a Genius Ditz or Brilliant, but Lazy then? She's got perfect scores in both Science AND Math, can do complex computations in her head, but is hampered by her lack of knowledge in Japanese, hence her low grades in everything else. Also, how she doesn't feel like SHOWING how she solved the equations (I remembered those types of exam questions, you really had to show how you solved them, or else the teacher might just think you copied them).
It's kind of sweet though that Tomo is motivated by how she wants to continue being with Misuzu even in college.
When I was in school, showing how you solved stuff was more important later on, but it probably started in high school. Though it also meant you could get almost full marks even if the numbers were completely off. I think I got that once by just verbally describing what I'd do, since at the time I didn't remember how to start, but I knew the rest of it.
Also, I'm completely not surprised by that revelation. It fits her perfectly.
Check out my fanfiction!Jun was straight savage. Love seeing his Tranquil Fury moments when he's had enough of Carol and Misuzu's shit. Although seeing Carol's magnificent reaction when Misuzu sees that she beat her in the exams takes the cake.
She really has the timing down for the V-sign.
For the current one, that's bold? I suppose in a certain way, but not the way you'd normally assume it would mean... Then there's who's thinking it.
Check out my fanfiction! It seems that Tomo thinks that sportswear is utilitarian, therefore nobody will lust over it, but bras with colour print are all about being showy. That's the dichotomy for her.
I like Carol, but I don't like that the one foreigner is the real weirdo here. It's like being from outside gives license for all the eccentricities the author is afraid will break disbelief. At least they acknowledge that she's not typical for any country. What I found most believable was her exaggerated Japanese mannerisms when trying to apologise.
I will never stop finding it creepy that every girl is a clone of her mother. If one took after her father it might be interesting, but could give an even creepier oedipal bend to the romances.
What makes this author stand out is that his characters feel real while being larger than life, and (you can see this on his other non-H works) he likes girls who are outside the cultural mold without consciously rebelling against it; boyish, energetic, unkempt, unguarded, and clueless in relationships. Last one aside, this makes the difference from both shoujo romances and harems.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.I get the distinct impression we're supposed to think Tomo's weird for her way of thinking, but I think she makes more sense than the others. I find that at sporty locations where you expect to see people in sports wear, the dress code is kind of between normal streetwear and beachwear. If she did what she did there where I live, no one would raise an eyebrow.
Check out my fanfiction!

Special thanks to the homeboys at the "Under thr Radar" thread for introducing this one to me.
Basic Summary: "Tomo Aizawa was able to successfully confess to her crush Junichirou Kubota. There is only one problem: He just sees her as his buddy. He thought that she was a boy until they went to middle school together, because her grade school was in a different school district".
It's a 4-koma series done by a former hentai author and it's good, light fun. It might drive you insane if you're completely burned out on the "will they won't they" dynamic, but it's a light and reliable pick-me-up. Characters and jokes are a treat, and even if it's taking its time, there's always an inkling of things going somewhere in the romantic end.
