Oh my gosh, why didn't I check this earlier? YEEEEEEESSSSSSS! I WANT IN!
Just one thing, is it okay for characters with some experience in interdimensional travel? And can say...NetNavis (that can battle without their operator) be recuited and turned into Hard Light as they're AIs to help? and what about duos?
Oh, I have a suggestion for their default look: a misty red humanoid with black eyes. ... What? You said they were spirits and you mention Kingdom Hearts so...yeah.
As for a suggestion of what facilities the central agency... If they're having their recruits stay in their hypothetical HQ, then they would need everything to let them live there (various kinds of foods for the varying species, beds, etc.) and since they're keeping the daemons... I'm imagining a highly secure place using both magic and technology to contain the daemons and to travel to other dimensions. Well, maybe just one way (either magic or tech) for the interdimensional travelling.
For some reason, I'm imagining a sort of interdimensional daemon keeping police that's kind of like SHIELD from what I can tell in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

"You said you had a dream... That dream... Make it come true! ... If anyone can, it's you!" - N (shortened) Oh, and I'm a girl.Interested. Some questions:
1) Do assault rifles work on daemons?
2) If I wanted to use an original character based heavily on an existing canon, is that cool?
Controlling the lesser daemons is almost impossible, since they're controlled by the "boss" daemons and that control's extremely difficult to override, if it's possible at all. Hurting the daemons is possible through most methods, although they're much tougher than most living things and won't drop to bullets alone. They also won't die, hence why they need to be captured.
As for respawning and whatnot, I was planning on having Celeste give the new recruits a sort of watch or similar device that would both alert them to the daemon's presence and respawn them back in the agency should they die. Still thinking about how to capture the boss daemons; currently thinking something along the lines of a Poke Ball.
I was actually thinking about making the daemons appear vaguely angelic instead, both as a reference to classical daemons and that it's a bit more reflective of their origins than black shadowy creatures would be.
The only real restriction I have for characters is that they not be stupidly powerful and make sense as characters. I was planning on allowing duos, so those are fine too.
Icon by Civvi the Civilian!I want to join and help in whatever way I can, because I like your style, initiative and ideas, d00d!
...Besides, because of the termination your previous RP, my Roleplaying itch hasn't been satisfied. I didn't even got a chance to warm up, d00d! Let me show you what I can do.
Count me in!

"It's better to burn out... THAN TO FADE AWAY!"I think that the method of capturing daemons should not be similar to pokeballs. My idea is that they should look like lanterns or something like that, and be bigger and heavier than pokeballs, but small enough to hold with one hand. Perhaps an eldritch sci-fi look to it or something.
Fun Fact: I came up with the "Unlurking Sentinel" name because I was intending to stop being a Lurker. I don't think it worked.Perhaps spells and binding curses can be used to stun Dæmons long enough to be captured, like how status effects in pokémon make it easier to catch Pokémon, along with damage.
Also, can we use an æsc instead of an AE when describing Dæmons? Æscs are cool.
Fun Fact: I came up with the "Unlurking Sentinel" name because I was intending to stop being a Lurker. I don't think it worked.I like the idea of a grimoire, though for the most part I'm leaning towards having the Agency be more hi-technical (NERRRR!) than magical; if there is magic there, it's not very noticeable.
Feel free to use æscs, though I won't be because I'm lazy and find ae to be easier to type.
Question: I'm currently considering playing an OC from the JojoVerse, and I wanted to know if Stands in general are considered acceptable in terms of power level.

Well, the GM said only crazy powerful characters would be disallowed so as long as it isn't something like The World, Yomegami would probably approve.
Thinking that I could make the signup thread sometime soonish.

I'm unfamiliar with JoJo beyond knowing it's a thing that exists, so without knowing what that ability would let your character do I can't say much. If it's not something that'd break the thread/give your character a completely unfair advantage against the daemons, I probably won't object too much.
In other words, what
said.

Alternatively, you could come up with something different that doesn't involve Eldritch Abominations. Aren't you already using that group in another thread anyway?

Icon by Civvi the Civilian! The Accord works without the Eldritch Abomination, as stated.
The Accord also are an interdimensional cult or just a template to use. It's the former in this case. The Eldritch Abomination is not always required - without the Eldritch Abomination they are more like Aperture Science and a bit more plain evil, ironically.
This does sound interesting. Was thinking of joining as something from the Ivalice Alliance set of games - particularly a moogle Dark Knight, and I don't foresee there being anything especially powerful about her ability set.
Regarding the whole slate of works concept, do all characters have to be tied to one of the pre-determined chapters, or can there be outliers?

PCs do not have to have a connection to any of the chosen worlds. I'm not sure if I'm understanding the question here, though.
But here's how I was planning on having the slate concept work, if it might answer anything:
- People discuss what works they'd like to see.
- I put together a slate of 3-4 (or possibly more; rhyming away!) options that have been getting the most support.
- People vote on their favorite from this group of options.
- The winner gets to be the focus of a chapter, likely the next chapter after the current. It'd be managed by the person most familiar with the work in question, although I'd still be in control of the Daemon fights. These mini-GMs would be able to provide a Guest-Star Party Member or two from the world in question if they so desired.
The suggested worlds do not need to be associated with any of the previous winners, though they can be if you really want.

Curious about that too, although it's unlikely that my character will be able to utilize status effects until later.
On the topic of worlds, anyone have suggestions/preferences for World 2?
Edit: I also wanted to ask, since Fisher Kingdom won't be in effect, will that make our characters more noticeable by natives of the realm, considering our unusual appearances?

The daemons are all aggressive, although there's a difference between "aggressive" and "evil." The majority of them aren't even sentient, although "boss" daemons do possess a certain level of intelligence.
Also, forget about using them as Mons. Seal a "boss" daemon and then free it, and you'll just make it angry.
