As Maria circled, trying to figure out where exactly they were, a bright flash of red filled her eyes as a flare arced into the sky.
"...I don't see a reason to be sorry, I know where you are now. Coming in for a landing." Stopping her circle, Maria flew away for several minutes before turning Dagaz VII around and lowering speed and altitude. As the fighter hit stall speed, Maria flicked a switch next to the throttle to engage the vertical alnding thrusters.
Three blue streams of light erupted - one under the nose, two under the fuselage - as the fighter's airspeed rapidly dropped. Landing gear whirred out of the fighter, clunking into position before Dagaz VII dropped onto the ground with a harsh hydraulic whine. It rocked forwards a little, then was still.
As soon as Maria read zero airspeed on her HUD she engaged the parking brakes and began shutting down the engines.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""Alright... main engine is down, takeoff thrusters inactive. Weapons offline, sensors offline, reactor offline, life support beginning passive environmental recharge. Just gotta lock it and..."
With several more commands, Maria locked the fighter down. The only way it would allow systems to power on was if she entered a password that only she knew (obviously, there were failsafes to prevent environmental extremes from killing forgetful pilots). Brute force hacking would be difficult - lattice-based encryption would stave off assault from even hardy quantum computers for quite some time. The fighter was as secure as it could be possibly made.
Sighing, Maria reached down into her storage compartment and withdrew her submachine gun. It would be her only source of protection. Ensuring a magazine was loaded and the safety was on, she popped the canopy. Dagaz VII extended a small ladder for her to climb down, which she did.
Maria walked towards her new erstwhile friends, her weapon hanging off of a sling.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Fawful cheers. It was about time they met this mystery pilot. "Helloing to you, Miss Woman! I am being the great Fawful! These are my comrades of camaraderie of teamwork known as Kojirou, Magiano, and... the Bat..." Maria may recognize him as the creature that flew up to her.

As Maria closed in the being that had flown up spoke. It had a... certainly strange way of speaking that made Maria question if English was his (hers? its?) second language.
"You... you were the one that flew up to my ship," she stated. It was pretty obvious to just about everyone assembled, but nothing confirmed like an affirmation.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""...so you were all brought here to save the universe? From what?" While she seemed suspicious, Maria was certainly willing to play along. If push came to shove she'd just remotely activate the jet and get the hell out of Dodge as fast as her legs and a hyperdrive could carry her.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""So we're dealing with something that can eat universes," stated Maria. She sounded, rather bluntly, like she didn't believe a word of what she was hearing.
"Well... I'm lost as hell, the star charts don't even match the known galaxy, and I've got no other options, so I guess I'll have to cast with you lot," she stated. "Lead the way."
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp.""Very interest! I am being from a land called the Beanbean Kingdom! I was known as a terrifying terror of that place until two brothers of stupid destroyed me!" Fawful seemed to get more and more angry the more he talked about it. "Oh, how I am hatify for them! And the lizard too! They are all STUPIDITY!" He's reached the point of screaming. "HATE HATE HATE HATE THEM!"
Suddenly, he regains himself. "But that was being in the past! Things are differently now!"

"The flare should be getting to them. Unless the BAT-CHILD is has a problem with it!"
