New Mob anime season confirmed
Sweet. Since the current manga arc is clearly the finale of the series, the most logical way to end each season would be ending Season 2 with Keiji Mogami, end Season 3 with the Claw finale, and have Season 4 end the series overall.
Ya know, I think a lot of series about over powered main character could benefit from main character's power in question being the antagonist
YO, I JUST READ THE RECENT SUB-CHAPTER that came out like a week ago but whatever AND THE THING THAT HAPPENS IN IT IS SO GOOD, ON MY GOD.
Seems like final baddie being the power itself is right way to describe this
Ok, Reigen to rescue yay! But yeah, I wonder if this is ending like really soon or not ._. I mean it does feel like an end
The latest chapter gave me way more good feels than I would have ever expected from this story (and I did already like it quite a lot).
I'd say the story needs to finish, now... Mob expressing his emotions in an healthy way, when he cries after having been rejected, instead of repressing them and building up towards an explosion, means that he has grown up the very premise of the manga.
Holy shit this latest chapter.
I mean. I don't even know where we go from here. But, it was beautifully handled.
Oh yeah, I think the LE Bluray/DVD is out now
After reading chapter 100.17, I need a second (and third) season of the anime. Need it.
It looks like chapter 101, which is just beginning, might actually be the final chapter of this manga.
EDIT: This actually is confirmed by ONE on twitter.

Fantastic ending. Can't wait for seasons 2, 3, and 4 of the anime to cover the material.
Apparently there's going to be a live-action tv drama.
It... could work. There's going to be a lot of fun, wacky, and surreal character animation lost in translation, though.
Honestly, I don't care about live actions. I just want new seasons for the anime. The whole last arc was so good, especially the conclusion...
Given that the first season of the anime covered roughly half the span of the manga, I'm thinking that if they did a season two that they could cover the rest. Granted, I'd want to see an 18 or maybe 24 episode season because things get denser narrative wise pretty quick after Chapter 50; but it would be awesome to see a complete adaptation of the manga.
Uh, what? The first season of the anime covers like 3 arcs. The remaining series has like 7 or 8 arcs, most of which are way longer due to ONE's liberal usage of sub-chapters which are just as long as normal chapters. I'm sure that if you counted the number of pages in Mob Psycho 100, the first season would only cover about the first 4th of the series.
I think 4 seasons would be a good amount of time to dedicate to Mob Psycho 100, maybe 3 seasons if you make them a bit longer than normal.
Yeah, I'd say 3 season total would be nice. They could still be 12 episodes each, with a pacing as fast as the one the first season had. Maybe add a few special episodes to cover the more episodic content...
I mean that chapter wise, the first season covered from chapter 1 to 49, which is a little under half the chapters. But like I said I know that the story gets much denser after that, which is why if they were going to do a second season and try to cover the rest I'd hope they'd make a two cour treatment of it.
I feel like you'd have to cut quite a bit of stuff to squeeze all of the rest of Mob Psycho 100 into 2 cours. Maybe 2 and a half cours, if you expand on nothing. I still think 3 more seasons would be optimal. Season 2 can end with Mogami, Season 3 can end with Claw, and Season 4 can end the series.
FUCK YES
Despite my screen-name, ranting to you about One Piece is not my top priority.100% hype
100% hype for me as well.
&
Really, only 100% hype? Because I'm at ???% hype right here.
Oh shit! It's Toichiro Suzuki, the former Boss of Claw!!!
Have I mentioned how much I love his voice in the anime? I admit that I have been reading all of his lines in that voice, albeit a little deeper and clearer.
