Maybe they wanted to fix the grammar, or saw that MASSIVE SPOILER.
x 3 I think they took it down now. I should've screencapped it.
So it looks like they really are mixing up who pilots what Lion.
At least for Lance Keith, and Swen Shirogane SHIRO.
Also... Remember that potential spoiler about Pidge? Well, his voice raised an eyebrow. I think we already knew he was played by a girl, but...
We'll know soon enough I suppose.

. Please be good. I want to speculate about Lotor's role if he has one. I want this to be the mass media success Korra never was. I want a redesigned Vehicle Voltron controlled by three pilots (an insane Hot-Blooded pilot, an ex-con, and Pidge's brother) I want to like this.
Also, some of the Instagram pics released of the Lions, green in particular, are pretty funny.

The fact that it was written before the crew of this show was announced just makes it Hilarious in Hindsight.
I'm excited so far, it looks fun. And I can never resist a show that looks like Avatar and Korra. Loving the character designs, the suits, and the mecha itself.
They picked a good voice for Pidge. Makes it less obvious, and once Pidge's identity gets revealed the voice will still work.
Honestly I can't stand people petitioning over Korra being renewed on Netflix. Have the ones signing even thought for a moment that maybe Bryan and Mike don't want to do more seasons?

Yeah, I mean, Korra was suppose to be only one season anyway. It actually ran way too long, and while it had it's high points (rebirth of the Air nation and our good buddy Zaheer, who confirmed at least one Fridge Horror Fan theory about what Air Benders could be capable of), it likely went on longer than it should.
Plus, all the shipping bullshit. That was a clusterfuck of epic proportions.
One Strip! One Strip!
They are going to do better without them. They're just making a Super Robot show.
I loved Korra, and I loved Avatar, but they're over. The only way I could see doing another one was if they did it with a new Avatar. But I don't think they will. And I think Bryke had it in their contract with Nick that Nick couldn't do anything with Avatar or Korra without them (nor, I imagine, can they do anything with it without Nick).
This looks great. Does have a big Avatar vibe to it, obviously in visual style but also in just the general tone of the scenes we saw. I loved "You're the worst pilot...EVER."
Yeah, they've color coded each pilot to his lion in a way that they never did on the original show (at least in the case of Keith, Lance, and Sven/Shiro, as Pidge and Hunk were coded to theirs; and the discrepency was never explained or touched on in any way, really). Still don't think Shiro is long for this world, but I guess we'll find out in June.
So... did anyone one noticed the Green haired lady who looks like Miriya Sterling?
I can't be the only one who noticed right?
Also, I find it interesting that Keith is nowhere to be seen in the initial scene shown. How come he's not taking that test with the other three?

One Strip! One Strip!Heard about this from EP Daily. Never actually seen a Voltron show before. I think I may have seen an episode of Third Dimension here or there. I honestly don't know much about the show other that what the general populace has absorbed through poop cultural osmosis. (Or Robot Chicken) Based on everything I've seen this looks like it'll be really good, so I'm hopeful.
That sounds a bit different from Classic Keith. He actually sounds more like old school Lance to be honest.
Though it's been years since I fully watched old school Lance, so I may be misremembering him. I did check out a few eps of the old series (up to the ep where Sven dies) to try and re-familiarize myself with the original show and compare it to how things will be in this one.
Still though, I guess they might plan on having Keith grow into his eventual Leader role, so we'll get a bit of an expanded character arc for Shiro since he's gonna be around for more than 5 or 6 episodes this time...
Or at least I hope he will. It's impossible to figure out what his actual fate will be.
One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, in the original Keith was the leader from the get-go, all responsibility and such (and he could occasionally be a bit of a hard ass with the others). The profile they gave for him for this series made him sound like a bit of an odd-man out on this team, a talented loner. It's probably telling that in a lot of the shots from the trailer, you see Pidge, Hunk, and Lance together, with Keith and Shiro nowhere in sight. Well see what they do.
