Armory
Mitch continues to work on the power cells. Seems like there's more than one, and each look to be about slightly bigger than his palm.

"You know, it doesn't take a psychic to realize you two have been... talking." Dominic chooses the last word carefully, unsure of the two's exact status. "And yes, I do have a knack for appearing and disappearing very quickly. What are you thinking about?"
"Nothing, really? ...Alright." Dominic keeps a lid on his curiosity, at least for the moment. "So, what do you think of Mitch?" He asks Rakiri seemingly out of the blue.
Hall
Rakiri snaps out of his trance, looking around. Noting Jiko's disappearance, he shrugs. "So, much for that." he looks over to Lex, and then Dom, his face reddening just a bit at the mention of Mitch. "He's a...nice guy...yeah." he answers, kinda simply.
Old habits die hard, especially when no one else lets them die either.Pring and Arif, who were too busy bounding around the different light craft stored in the hangar, didn't notice anything.
"Did someone come aboard?" Arif mulls.
"Probably, I dunno, anyway, look at the boosters on this thing!" Pring was pointing to a incredibly tiny single-seater with huge thrusters.
"Wow... That's amazing."
"I can't wait to go salvaging!" Arif chuckled. "Hey, which part of Maximata do you come from?"
"Oh, uh. I've lived on Terra all my life - half-human - but from the Central Belt."
"Oh, my family too!" Pring smiled brightly. They keep chatting and walking, until...
"Oh my god! Rylan! Are you okay???? Did something happen!" Pring looks in deep shock. She turns to Arif. "We need to get him up to medical! Rylan! Are you okay? Do you need aid?"
Arif stands there, dumbfounded and also slightly not-caring. "Oh! No! What! A... Shame!"
He helps pick up Rylan, each arm supported by Arif and Pring.
The Hangar
As Arif and Pring pull him up. The cripple pains beginning to subside, though a little blood running from his nose. "I—'ll be fine... Just- urm... the medicine will help it, don't worry..." He says dropping the remainder of the medicine box into the black briefcase and starts putting pressure on his own feet to stand up again on his own, tugging to have his arms let go of.
Both Arif and Pring (if she was paying attention) would be able to clearly see the back of his neck and the barcode slightly concealed by hair but decipherable. Clearly stretched from growth showing he has had it for quite some time. 0221163 PPATD. The black case meanwhile seemingly containing a number of strange devices and equipment plus the spilt box of pills. To a trained eye, none of that is cheap gear. All of it quite specialist and hard to come by.

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Arif and Pring rescinded their support for Rylan, letting him stand freely.
Arif pulls away, noticing the code stamp. His optical sensor takes a snapshot for identification, putting into a background analysis process.
Pring comforts Rylan, giving him a warm smile. Both Arif and Pring nod in acknowledgement of Alex.
"R-Right..." Rakiri answers, leaning back against the wall with his arms crossed. "Sure, I guess we can get to know one another more. Former Lieutenant Rakirdyn Ayers of the Echirean Armed Forces, Special Operations: Tactical and Infiltration Division." he says, starting off. "You are...Dominic, right? The one who...stays with Mitch."

Rylan looks over to Arif and Pring, a pained frown but giving a smile."t-thanks." He says getting his balance and leaning to close the briefcase, letting it vanish in a static like blur to his Haven before looking to Alex and Dulkar. "Sorry.. My powers sometimes have some side effects." He says rubbing his neck and picking up his helmet, also grabbing a bit of tissue and rubbing off the blood from beneath his nose.
"I'll be fine, just need a minute for the painkillers to kick in. I'm m- Rylan by the way. Good to meet you." He says almost fumbling his name while recovering but giving a awkward smile.

"After time adrift among open stars, along tides of light and through shoals of dust, I will return to where I began."Arif waves at the newcomer. "I'm Arif! Science Officer."
"I'm Pring! I'm... uh. Fellow traveller!"
Arif grinned, before freezing up unexpectedly. He had finally received the information he needed.
He had tagged twenty-seven different infocards, each relating to different crimes. Each infocard had the description of Rylan, and almost invariably tagged with the code stamp as a suspect identifier. His optics collated them into one overarching report.
TARGET ARREST WARRANTS
ASSAULT | THEFT | GREVIOUS BODILY HARM | DAMAGE TO PROPERTY | DAMAGE TO STATE PROPERY | ATTACK ON PEACEKEEPERS | ATTACK ON CIVILIANS | RESISTING ARREST | ESCAPING IMPRISONMENT | TRESSPASSING | TRESSPASSING RESTRICTED AREA
Arif was stunned. They were harbouring a criminal. He cycled through the rest of the files.
PROJECT ASCENSION | FILES LOCKED BY [REDACTED] | REQUEST SECURITY CLEARANCE FROM SUPERIOR OFFICER
Arif obviously did not have a superior officer to request security clearance. The fact he was unable to decrypt the files meant that whatever was being protected was protected very well. And, of course, was very, very important.
Arif shook his head. He stored the information, and sent it to the Captain. Harbouring a criminal would mean that Greg would get shit on.
He focused on the toolbox... It was a very specialised set of tools. Hmm... He left it to stew in his mind for a while.
Arif nodded. He wanted to go on this salvage run.

"I guess we have a few things in common, then. I'm sure you've noticed, but I have a habit of appearing and disappearing without warning. I've served the military for much of my life; same place where I met Mitch and his brother, who's now my husband. Calling me a paramilitary man would be more precise, though."
Alexander (the one currently idle) may notice Rakiri and Mitch talking in the hallway.

Lex's Bathroom
Jiko is trying to find his communicator to shed some light on the situation when the lights turn back on for themselves. He looks up for a second and thinks about blaming space magic when he also happens to see that the wire has plugged itself back in, but instead just goes back to work. He takes extra care to find and replace the correct wire and, when the lights continue to shine, he has some hope.
"All right, let's see if that did it," he says, turning the hot water tap and holding his hand underneath it, pocketing the spare parts (including the wire he replaced) as he does so.
After a few moments, the water heats to the point where he can't withstand it and he smiles, happy the problem was so simple overall - space gods help him if it had been something complicated, or that required him to check the plumbing.
Lex's Bedroom
A few moments later, Jiko steps out of the bathroom and, with a yawn, decides to sit down on her bed for a moment. He should probably go to sleep, and he thinks about walking back to the Crew Quarters.
"Eh...fuck it," he says, lying back horizontally across the bed, "I'll go in a couple of minutes." Only those couple of minutes don't come, as he practically passes out the second he closes his eyes.
