Xirzan somehow went back to the ship but is now wearing a bucket for an hat, even if it's too tiny to actually fit. She's in the bathroom, having seemingly installed a complex defense perimeter, with some obvious nails to ward off attackers from the fort : the bathtub.
The alien is also pointing the end of a futuristic broom at the door, seemingly prepared to use lethal action against any trepasser.
Dominic walks out of the elevator and towards a counter with some serums and medicines on display.
"How can I help you, Mr. Navarro?" The saleswoman greets him. She seems to recognize him from elsewhere... and is a pretty big fan of him. He notices, but doesn't point it out.
"I'd like to purchase some of this." He takes out a small note with some writing on it. The woman looks at it for a while.
"Are you sure you don't want to purchase our newer version? It has a higher caliber, faster effect and more retention. Though, admittedly, it's a bit more risky than standard."
"That's part of the problem, actually. I'd rather play it safe for now. ...You know what, input a batch of that too. It will probably be of use eventually." Dominic gives her his credit card.
"Very well. Thank you for your time." The woman inputs his card, then goes to the storage room behind her counter for a moment before coming out with a few medium-sized boxes wrapped in brown paper, with 'fragile' warnings on them. He takes them and walks out of the building.
Peter walks out of the shower and starts putting on clothes. He contemplates going to the armory to pick up his suit to help him move, but decides against it and just takes a cane instead.
"Where are you guys? I just woke up." He texts to Chris and Greg.
"Well, I was thinking if either of you wanna buy some things you've been wanting with the money we got." Izzie says to the two.
Val reforms the disc into a sphere before moving back to eating. Mitch looks up at Rakiri and chuckles.
"Yer cute, ya know that?" He says to him.
Val looks at Mitch, then back at Rakiri. "I agree."

"Oh!" Greg says as Izzie mentions shopping. "I can finally go about gettin' me a hoverboard!" he says and does something like a frantic happy dance across the room. When Peter messages him, he quickly stops and replies.
"We're in the bridge with Izzie. We're gonna go blow our paychecks on frivolous shit, probably. Wanna come?
"Ehehe..." Rakiri responds with a slight blush and bashful chuckle. "I suppose...I'm not afraid to act more like myself around you both...or at least what I guess is myself. I've never had a strong sense of what that really means, thanks to my upbringing." he finishes off one of his skewers and picks up the second before continuing. "During the war I was always so uptight and rigid...had to be, unless I wanted a blade or bullet in my gut. It's just...a relief to not have to constantly be worried about stuff like that, I guess."
He then pauses, glancing down at his plate. "I suppose none of that was exactly prompted. Sorry."
Tor picks out a few outfits he deems suitable, and looks over to Kyerine. "Would you like to try some of them on? We probably need to get a good idea of your size, anyway so we can make sure all of this actually fits..." he says, thinking aloud. It seems like he had a bit of experience doing this kind of thing.
Amos's hands clenched tightly, and in spite of Michael and Aur seeming to back off somewhat, he steps forward, completely silent until he is only mere inches from the group.
"...I've spent a year of my life on a ship full of thugs and pirates who had more "bad" in the tips of their fingers than the three of you all have in your bodies combined. They beat me up and used me for a personal slave and whole other manner of horrible things on a daily basis, including more or less locking me up inside the ship's computer just to add a little extra kick to their ship. Do you want to know what happened to them? All 29 of those bastards?" he asks them his voice and expression completely deadpan. Glancing down at his mechanical hand, he doesn't wait for a response before he continues. "Dead. I killed them. All of them. With no remorse whatsoever when I got the chance."
With another pause, he glances back up, more at the boy with apparent gun than anyone else., his eyes starting to glow eerily and circuitry lines start to appear on his face, perhaps making him look more sinister.
"If you think your little gun is going to scare me, I suggest you think again. And quickly."
He then looks up at Greg and Izzy, smiling widely, "Might grab something nice for Greg and Peter. Seeing how much they seem to enjoy the things I got last time we were here~. Though, this time the gifts might be more...family friendly."
"Oh look what we have hear, a disrespectful brat." "I think he should learn to respect his elders."
"Yeah. Kid hand over everything you got and we'll let you go. What do you say." The individual says with a sneer placing his hand on Matt's shoulder.
For the man, it likely felt like time slowed as in one fluid motion. Matthew just grabs the mans arm and in one motion twists it and hits its roof with his other elbow. A terrible cracking noise is heard as the mans arm bends in a way it shoudln't but before he even finishes calling out in pain he just grabs the rest of his arms and his chest, as Matthew throws him across the narrow Alley into some crates with a huge smashing noise. Using the same technique Blake uses on him. Just turning his gaze to the other individual and then to his various friends that were hiding. "You want to continue what he was saying?"
As impressive as Matthew's moves looked he couldn't attempt such if the person was actually trained, the guy was a armature, a pushover for most combat trained individuals. For someone born to kill he wasn't even a entertaining distraction. Unfortunately he was also designed to not look like a major threat.
Michael dashes up by Amos' side pulling all the courage he could and calling out as angrilly as he could sound. Not that angry "We give you five seconds. 5, 4, 3, 2..." The guys standing on the kid looking more nervous till the boy now without the thugs girlfriend standing on his arm pulls it over and seems to press something on the watch/bracelet. "Jasper, hoverboard burst, 3 seconds; return!"
The following scene goes by in a bit of a blur. The girl holding the hoverboard is thrown into the guy standing on the boy, her boyfriend, knocking them both off into the street. They both look over to Amos and Michael and Aur then to each other. "You know, fine we're leaving. Gone." The girl calls out as they both start running in the same direction as their red hoodied friend.
The boy just rolls over from his pinned position, holding his chest and coughing. The hoverboard floating over and landing near him.

"... Well, scene caused."
Aur had unconsciously unclipped his sword from his belt and was about to activate it when the group flees. He shakes his head, puts it back, and approaches the kid. He tries to help him up.
"You okay?.. Well, probably not but.." His voice is... nicer than usual.
Before Jiko gets a chance to speak his communicator goes off. He reads it quickly and smirks.
"He says there's plenty of good bars around here if we'd like to drink. Or there's an arcade," he laughs at this, "old man as he is, he still enjoys going to those places. Not that we had a real one back...er...home, I guess. He says it's our pick, so I leave it to you, hun. Either way it'll be a good time. Hopefully."
Peter walks in and watches Greg dance, chuckling to himself, while Izzie makes a small smile. "I have a cane, Chris. so don't worry." He says to him.
"Well, looks like everyone's here. Let's get going then." Izzie walks out of the ship, and Peter follows.
"It's alright. I like listening to you." Val says while eating.
"Well, maybe we can help ya figure that out." Mitch says to Rakiri.
"You know, it's kinda different for me. Our instructors don't actually say it to us, but we get the feeling that we're invincible. As long as we stick together and focus, nothing can hurt us. And it's true..." Mitch makes his arm look more metallic for a moment before turning it back. "For the most part."

"Alright!" Greg cheers and follows the others out.
"Thanks., Val" Rakiri answers, leaning over to give him an appreciative kiss on the cheek. "I appreciate that...both of you guys." he says with a smile. As Mitch shifts his arm, he reaches out and gently touches it. "Invincible...hmm..."
Tor's eyes widen slightly as he realizes his error. "A-Ah, wait a moment! There are rooms specifically designated for you to do that in." he says quickly and reaches out to try and stop Kyerine before he gets too far. "Sorry, I keep forgetting you are not used to things like that just yet..."
As the teens turn tail and run, Amos sighs slightly and closes his eyes, the circuits disappearing from his face. His eyes also return to normal once he opens them and he blinks before he speaks. "And here I thought I was going to have to bring out the holograms..." he says with a slight chuckle, scratching his head awkwardly. "Is everyone alright?" he asks, then looks over to the kid who was being bullied. "Especially you...are you hurt?"
He will follow Toraq to the changing room if he guides him. Needing aid to know where to go and what he is suppose to do. Still looking around curiously at everything he sees.
The boy after taking a few seconds to finish coughing and holding his chest notably on the left side he just exhales a little and recovers for a few moments before sitting up, taking a second to feeling around to find and grab his board, then taking another second to try and get up with the help of Aur.
The boy was young, as said maybe 10? Standing at a height of 4ft 7inches or (140cm). He didn't look particularly strong or small, a bit lithe. He clears the dirt from his clothes and his brown scruffy hair.◊ Looking around a little and rolling his left shoulder, the arm that got pinned a bit before speaking. "Yeah i'm okay, thanks for the help. I hope I didn't ruin your plans to go to the arcade, it was you guys I passed right?" The boy replies looking vaguely in Amos' direction though not really making eye contract with his almost cloudy, grey eyes. "Same to you, whoever you are." He also states looking towards Aur after being helped up.
Well Matthew was sure he could find something else to do. Or so he thought just walking off into the district, soon to find himself a few minutes later surrounded by flashing blue and red lights and multiple officers looking rather annoyed... Blake is gonna be pissed.

He then moves over beside Peter, wrapping his arm around his waist and holding him lightly, "Never known you turn down a chance to ride before." he says with a wink as he leads him out of the bridge and toward the hangar.
Jiko gestures with a hand and give the slightest of bows.
"Lead the way, milady," he says, before quickly sending out another message to David, telling him to meet them there.
David receives the message and nods solemnly. It will be good to get out for a bit, not to think.
Not thinking of drinking yourself silly I hope.
"'Course not...still...just a little more time."
They aren't going to wait forever.
David stays silent, knowing full well Michiyuki wasn't referring to Lex and Tom.
"Yeah. Yeah I know," he says, before hopping up from his seat and beginning to head out. He might even beat them there, get a look at the place before they get there. Scope it out...just in case.
After leading them in two consecutive completely wrong directions, they wind up outside Primal Cuts, the smell of charred meat rather noticeable from outside. She pulls open the door, gesturing for Jiko to go first, grinning.
"What kinda ride are you talking about?~" Peter says teasingly to Chris as the group walks towards Shard Marketplace.
"Hey, are you thinking of any specifications in particular for your hoverboard?" Izzie asks Greg.
"What, no kiss fer me?" Mitch says while grinning, before reaching over to kiss Rakiri, after wiping his mouth, of course. He looks down on his arm when he touches it. "What 'bout it?"
Val smiles rather bashfully; he'd probably be blushing if he was a human. He then looks at Jiko and Lex as they come in. "Well, look who's here. Come join in." He taps in to the seats next to him.
Xirzan is in the kitchen, with dark bags under her eyes and holding some coffee.
Jiko smiles up at Lex as he passes, running a hand briefly on her hip as he does, and steps into the place proper.
The smell of charred meat and spices is even more pungent on the inside, and Jiko has to take a moment to adjust before continuing, headed toward the bar area where he knew David would likely go first. It seems he hasn't arrived yet. On his way, he see Val and changes course, taking an open seat with them.
"Hey everyone, how are things?" he asks, gesturing to the open seat next to him for Lex to sit.
Meanwhile, outside, David watches from a short distance as Lex and Jiko enter. The same feeling of nostalgic joy swells up in him before being dashed by the grim reminder of the latter's departure from "Alexander." Either way, he suppresses both of these feelings and enters in less than two minutes after they do.

"Hmm...well..." Greg trails off as he thinks about it. "Well, making sure it handles well is a big thing. No point in riding it if I can't control it, ya know?" he answers.
"Heh, sorry. I was gonna get ya eventually." he answers Mitch with a smile. He draws his hand back before answering. "It's...eh, well, it's nothin' important Just stupid thoughts."
At seeing Lex and Jiko enter, he smiles. "Oh, hey. We're doing good. Looks like we're gonna get to hang out anyway."
Tor gives him an affectionate pat on the head. "Like I said, it is alright. You are still learning." he says reassuringly before he leads Kyerine to the changing rooms, and stays by the door in case he needs assistance.
"Well, it's not like taking the time to help is going to make the the arcade jump and run. And yeah. I'm just glad we were here." Amos says, idly rubbing his mechanical limb. "I'm not going to just sit by and let bad things happen if I can help it. I used to use fear as an excuse for that, but...its not an ok thing to do, I'm learning."
A few minutes later, the door to the changing room will open and Kyerine will show Toraq how it looks on him and how it fits. Which turns out Toraq's gauge on sizing was actually pretty good. The clothes fitting decently well. "Does this look okay?"
The boy smiles in Amos' direction again, moving over while feeling around the back of jeans and attaching the hoverboard to a buckle so he didn't need to directly carry it. "They've hated me since I was young, I kinda just had to get used to it but thanks for stopping them." His overall tone and demeanor relaxed, cheerful and clearly appreciative.
Offering out a grazed hand towards Amos, though some marks were clearly the result of for example accidentally falling from ones hoverboard. "It's nice to meet you even if you did what you said, same to you two as well. I'm Russell, Russell West." A very warm smile compared to his cloudy gaze that does try to look over at Michael and Aur as well doesn't seem to focus in any way on them just their vague direction. Actually even for Amos his eyes didn't really make eye contract properly though it didn't seem like he was trying to avoid it either.
Okay Blake is gonna be really really pissed when he finds out, well they called him. Okay he is likely very pissed right now that his date was interrupted by a call to pick up and pay the bail for his little brother. Matthew was just trying to brace for the talking to he would get when they get back to the ship later.

"Why would they hate you so much..?"
Hm? Is he blind?...
"They're just jerks looking for someone to get angry at... And I might have revealed, five times where their stash of whatever the leafy drug they are taking is." His tone quickly changing to clearly amused yet trying to sound innocent one. He doesn't look Aur straight in the eye saying this either, just in his direction.
Matthew just holds out his credit stick. The guard blinking clearly not expecting him to actually have money on him and taking it through the bars and starting to scan it.

He does nod with Greg, "Yeah, don't want you getting into a fight with the ground, it'll hurt, especially if you lose. Trust me."
She then looks to Rakiri, a beaming smile on his face, "Heh, looks like it. I'm glad to know we won't be going down easy, should things go to shit all of a sudden, again."
"So," she says, looking over the menu, "What do you all recommend?"
Jiko looks over the menu for a moment, eyeing some of the fare. Most of it is stuff that he doesn't recognize, but most of what he sees seems to have a single, strong correlation - red meat. Sure, there are varying options for varying diets, but the section he is looking at (which is marked with a "Safe for Terran Biology") deals in a lot of blood and...well, primal foods.
"Steak seems like a good choice for me...hold on," he says, pulling out his comm and checking to see if he has enough to...holy shit.
"Yeah, definitely that for me," he says, keeping his cool even though he'd never seen that much money in one place before, let alone in his account. He also feels just slightly guilty about it - not like he did much for the mission anyway.
Meanwhile, David has gone for the bar, as Jiko had anticipated. He'd seen the group and how full the table is and felt he shouldn't impose just yet. Yes, he wants to spend some time with an old friend, but in the end they need to have a very serious conversation that might ruin the mood...especially if he has to resort to more drastic measures.
You could just go over and have a good time with them, you know.
David nods but doesn't react, sitting at the bar next to a surly looking alien that seems to lack eyes of any sort. He nods to the entity and it bobs it's humanoid head in response before downing the shot in front of it, which seems to be boiling over in its hand. Must be some sort of extrasensory perception or something, David thinks.
"Well, that's a good point. There's the matter of how you control it too: hand gestures, tilting your body, and so on. Which do you think you'd prefer?" Izzie asks.
Peter smiles and kisses his boyfriends' cheeks in response. "Isn't yours controlled with just thoughts?" He asks Izzie.
"Yeah, but that's thanks to the interface, and it took a long time to get used to. Definitely not for beginners. Plus, I'm not sure he wants a surgery." Izzie replies.
"Well, the main 'ttraction 'ere is steak. They also have other grilled stuff, burgers, ya name it." Mitch says to Lex. "Don't worry, ya can tell me anythin'." He says to Rakiri, finishing his first plate and ordering a second one.
"Hey, isn't that David?" Val says to Jiko when he sees him at the bar.
Greg goes a bit pale at the mention of surgery. "Um...yeah, let's not go that route...I like technology, but not enough to want it in my brain..." he says, clearly uncomfortable. "Anyways, I guess gestures or body movement works." he decides.
Tor smiles and gives a thumbs up. "I think it looks very nice on you. The more important question, is do you like them?"
"Yeah. I didn't live as long as I have just to get taken out by some random alien attack." Rakiri says to Lex before he looks back to Mitch.
"Eh, well...I mean, my people used to think we were invincible. And look what happened to us. I mean...I guess I'm just worried something could happen...ya know..." he answers, looking down at the table. "Invincible just means something that can't be beaten...yet. With enough time and energy...anything can be beaten eventually..."
Kyerine looks over himself in a little confusion at the question for a few moments. "Do I like them..?" He repeats, clearly trying to process the fact he was asked this, not that used to being asked his opinion.
"Yeah, you like them and so I like them as well." Kyerine eventually replies with a confident and cheery smile directed at Toraq.
Matthew just rolls his eyes slightly before releasing a very tired. Yeah, got it." Getting up from his balled sitting position on the floor ready to leave as they unlock his cell and he is guided to the main reception area...
Blake's look of disappointment is hard to give justice to. Matthew is actually feeling guilt and remorse quite heavily right now, feelings he rarely gets. "Matthew Jacob Miers, we need a talk. Get back on the ship, go to your room and stay there till I ask to see you." Blake's tone calm yet very serious.
"Y-yeah okay..." Matthew having not will to fight back against his brother commands. It is rare he calls him by his name like that, he is annoyed beyond anything he has done in a long time...
