The official website accidentally revealed the existence of a PC version of the Reignited Trilogy and reaffirmed the Switch port.
Here's a livetweet thread of the whole SDCC panel, if you need it.

I hope they include all the old cheat codes.
Wow, what an albumWait, unlocking new characters? I wonder if that tweet is a poorly worded description of the act of saving dragons, or if there are going to be additional player characters.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"Spyro 3 cheat codes always have a special nostalgic place for because they were the first cheat codes I had ever seen. The big head one and the colour changing one blew my mind... I really want to use them in the remakes.
I wonder how Bianca will be. I am pretty psyched. I loved her in 3 but Enter the Dragonfly ruined her voice and character. Her design always looked revolting in high-poly, though. She's cute in YOTD but in the manual and in future games she just looks creepy to me.
I'm also curious about Elora, given the in-game model is a little hard to interpret since she has what looks like human skin, but an animal face. And to add to the confusion, there's an entire level with fauns that are completely covered in fur (and frankly look half wolf, half goat).
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"I'd rather keep Cynder far away from the classic games.
I'd be fine with Cynder honestly, or maybe the lesser focused on ones from Hero's Tail. I've never been able to comprehend the Broken Base between the Classic and Legend fandoms, so I'm always welcome for more aesthetic options. It's very dependent on how they tackle it though, I mentioned this a while ago when the re-release was just rumors, but it's way different and a lot more work to do in a game like this compared to playing as Coco in N. Sane Trilogy, since Spyro has a lot more in-level voice-acted dialogue, unless it would literally just be a palette swap that didn't change the dialogue, but seeing Cynder's body with Spyro's voice and personality would be odd.
Though I think this was probably a misunderstanding of either saving the dragons, or unlocking the characters in 3.
As a side note, here's a random question, if there's any changes you'd like to see, what would they be?
I think the top priority on my list would be dolling up the True Final Boss in 3, even 9-year old me was a bit let down by how simple and lacking it is, not to mention the fact that (allegedly it was a bug that never got fixed?) it didn't even have its own unique music.

Tbh, I'm genuinely curious on how a 'Classic' Cynder would be handled. Like, most of the things that caused her to develop a base breaking status are mainly tied to the setting she debuted in. Considering the Classicverses over all Lighter and Softer setting, a lot of that wouldn't really apply to a version of her reimaged for the original continuity.
Maybe she could be The Rival to Spyro in the Classicverse. Tbh, it's kind of surprising Spyro's never had a rival dragon character in any of the continuities, considering most Mascot with Attitude characters usually end up with one at some point.

I've never liked Cynder and especially never liked her being reused in Skylanders. I would honestly prefer a Suspiciously Similar Substitute who happens to be Spyro's rival.
I suppose they could fix Cynder and add her into future Classic-verse games, but I only want her in if characters like Ember and Flame get in too.

XBO and PS4 versions require additional downloads.
Turns out that additional download is the 2 and 3 as only the first game is on-disc.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Man every redesign looks amazing thus far.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"x3: Why, that brazenly avaricious duplicitous larcenous ursine!
Switch FC code: SW-4420-1809-1805They did the same thing with Crash Bandicoot.
Why do they keep doing this? Why not just give us three discs instead? What do they do for people without internet access for their console?
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.10/1 the Switch port will be plug 'n' play. I know Crash didn't require any downloading or anything.
Am I the only one who feels like this decision just won't matter in the grand scheme of things? Or am I just broken?
FC: SW-1445-0294-1719/PSN: TekkenGirl4Lyfe/Currently playing: Fire Emblem: The Blazing BladeI mean, you still get the game and all. But them wasting hard drive space despite you buying it on disc is incredibly silly.
Also the few people who have played maybe the first game and want to just jump into the second or third one, expecting to be able to do just that because they bought it on disc, but they can't due to required download.
So this is apparently a thing... personally, I'm not believing either story until release.
It aggravates me how many of my PS 4 games require drive installations. So hopefully they can backtrack on that decision. Maybe give us three discs, if content is so hard to pack into one.
If everyone were normal, the world would be a dull place. Like reality television.Dunno how many other people saw/got their hands on it, but Jeremy of Achievement Hunter got a hold of a demo of Dark Passage.

Gotta say, as my dragon on the left should imply, I'm a fan of dragons and celestial themes, I adore how the dream weavers look so far.
Edited: not a clue how to embed on this site.

If they don't include the ability to use the Superflame for 100% on New Game files I'm going to riot.
