This RP is a reboot/reimagining of the Forum Game RP, We The Tropers Are Stuck On A Spaceship. The main focus of this one, unlike the original, will be space adventure/exploration, though other aspects such as combat are free to be invoked if it's desired by the players and are not by any means mandatory. You are allowed to play either as an OC or an alternate version of yourself, be they human, alien, or otherwise.

Since a large part of this game is centered around exploring, worldbuilding will obviously play a huge part in it as we go along. Players are welcome and encouraged to worldbuild races, planets, and other parts of the universe as they see fit, as long as that doesn't contradict or impact something other players have already established, unless you already have express permission to do so. Another thing of note, in this setting, Earth does not exist. It will be replaced with a stand in, named Terra. Please, keep this in mind.

Next thing: plots. Players are allowed to make plots at will, and are encouraged to do so if you so choose. The main thing about this is that we want them to try and be inclusive as possible, while also not forcing anyone to participate if they don't want to, except for in the case of things like romantic plots. The option to participate being available is the important thing, though again, it isn't a rule that has to be followed strictly, though the more people are invested in your plot, the more enjoyable it likely is to be for all parties involved.

Finally, the rules. There aren't a while lot, so please, keep them in mind.

1) Don't be a dick. (Don't be rude or mean.) 2) No autohits, ghosting, or godmodding (unless it is involved in a plot and have permission to do so. Even then, don't go overboard.) 3) No plot hijacking. (Basically, don't try to take control of other peoples plots and such.) 4) Play fairly. 5) Stick to the established rules of the universe of the setting when world building.


6) No spawning players directly onto the ship once it is acquired. Players will have to wait to be picked up on a stop, or may approach on small personal ships on their own, given they are small enough to be stored in the hangar. For more specific entries, talk to me about it and I'll let you know.

That's about it as far as regulations go. If any player has any concern about any of these things, post them below, or contact me or one of the other current G Ms and we'll do our best to assist. Now that that's all done, to those that chose to join, I hope you enjoy.

Here's the template for making characters. There is no set limit, but I expect people to be reasonable enough with how frequent and how numerous their character count is. Also, try not to go overboard with the power levels. If something seems OP, you may be asked to reevaluate some things.

  • Name: Your characters name, id, or whatever they like to be called
  • Age: How old your character is.
  • Gender: What your character identifies as, male, female, or otherwise.
  • Race: Species of your character.
  • Homeworld: Where your character originates from.
  • Physical Traits/Appearance: What your character physically looks like.
  • Biology: Notable characteristics about your character or their race, inside and out.
  • Occupation: Your character's primary job(s), if they have one.
  • Equipment/Tools: Items or objects your character tends to use.
  • Skills/Talents: Your character's normal skills and proficiencies.
  • Powers/Abilities: Your character's abnormal abilities or powers.
  • Background: Your character's past, and how they came to be how they are.
  • Personality (optional): How your character tends to act and react and any traits that may distinguish them from another.
  • Miscellaneous/Notes (optional): Other information you deem necessary to include not covered elsewhere.

Real Name: Donis

Agency Name: D0-N1-S

Physical Age: 3 years

Mental Age: 21 years

Race: Humanoid Gynoid

Physical Traits/Appearance:

Donis is of a regular adult human appearance, but with eyes which are bright blue, irises which seemingly don't change shape, and skin which always seems to shine. Her skin is cold to the touch, and perhaps even leathery due to what it really is – a thin later covering her up so her brilliant white body is not exposed to the natural elements.

Her body is covered up by a long coat, which disguises herself. Her shoulders contain many gears, valves and sockets allowing for her to be able to use her arm in any position, and her hip joints are the same.

Leading up to her hands are one of the most obvious signs of what she is, a dull, grey area with a clamshell which opens up to reveal a computer screen on her left side which can be used to convey something to her allies, and with it a set of tools with which she does most of her less destructive work, and her right holds a toolbox which holds others for more destructive work, including chemicals such as fertilizers so she can blow things up if need be, and a hammer when subtle work takes too long or is simply out of the question.

Where her ears would be is what appears to be two headphone shells, and a band going over her blonde hair to allow for radio broadcasting and receiving over many different bands, including some which may ordinarily be illegal.

Homeworld: Catain Laboratory

Occupation: Gynoid computer 'technician', hacker and mechanic


Locksmith: She can hack many locks, both electronic and mechanical, using nanomachines which allow her to examine and break locks as may be needed. She through this can either find codes needed, or simply open up locks if they are mechanical, or fashion keys if that is a better option.

Cracker: Many systems are breakable to her, but she will take time depending on the system and how it operates. The truly alien will never be breakable unless she can reasonably examine them, and they are not so alien they break the foundations of what she knows of systems.

Walking Encyclopedia and Research Station: She is able to research almost anything given to her, and in many cases may have a file on what is presented to her as is.

Self System Upload: In an emergency, she can transmit parts of herself to a new system for re-uploading elsewhere, and in the worst cases can write herself to a disc for later restoration. But if both fails, she is good as dead. The more transmitted or written, the more complete her memories are. Each time she transmits incomplete memories, she starts anew and is recognised by having the number after N changing in her agency name.

Mechanic: Donis is able to repair and examine many simple mechanical devices, and be able to improve on them if she finds a way they can be improved. Her abilities are limited to devices which are at biggest the size of her clenched fist, and at smallest the size of her finger.

Criminal Database: She contains on her a database of a section of wanted criminals, and is able to record and recall where they were last seen and what information is known about them by other informants, including what crimes they are wanted for. With this she will also broadcast parts of what she has learned to her agency, and may use it to further her own aims

Self-Learning: She is capable of rudimentary self-learning and self-development, and can to some extent be considered sapient and knowing how to process that knowledge, and what else needs to be learned from it

Background: She is a spy bot whose primary aim is to charge after three targets. Once she is done with this, her time with her agency is over, and she will be a free agent unless she joins an opposing agency, or she defects without realising. She is free to operate as may be needed, provided she can prove her loyalty to her home agency.

Physical Traits/Appearance: 6’2”. Dark brown hair, with some red and gold in his full beard and some silver starting to creep its way in. Wears aviator style glasses. Broad shoulders. Swimmer’s build. Fairly strong, even if he’s not all that ‘punchy’. Has had his left arm, and part of the left half of his chest, and side replaced with robotic prosthetics.

Powers/Abilities: Earth/Stone/Mineral/Metal Manipulation, Gravity Manipulation, Magnetic Manipulation, Enhanced reflexes, skill, and accuracy with his left, robotic arm

Background: Life was rough in the slums of Knossos’ Terran Colony 14-02-B… found abandoned on her doorstep one morning, Chris was raised by a single mother in a loveless and often abusive fashion. He sought sanctuary first in the local library, which, while small, was full of kind people and unjudgmental books. When an arsonist unfortunately destroyed that building as he entered his teens, he took up other hobbies, namely rock climbing, spelunking, and pottery. He also took solace in the arms of one of his peers, Jordan Ross, a cute redhead boy who started out as a good friend with similar interests, and slowly grew into more. It didn’t last long, though.. after getting caught by Chris’ mother in his room with Jordan, she kicked him out, and he started living with Jordan and his family, only to find his boyfriend growing more and more manipulative and untrustworthy, culminating in Chris returning to his old home, emotionally distraught. He never talked about what happened that night, or even mentioned Jordan’s name to anyone other than Greg and Peter years later. One day, when he was around 18, he was the victim of a cave in, when he came to, he was in the hospital, and, in a manner that was fairly common on the colony, his left arm, and the left part of his chest and side had been amputated, was replaced with a cybernetic replica, and had been implanted with nanites to help with his rehabilitation. He eventually moved on and recovered, and started working as personal spacecraft mechanic by day, and part time street enforcer on his off hours, a position in which he met Peter. Another cute boy a little younger than him, and one who eventually helped him out of his situation with his mother, but, though he harbored a crush on the younger man, he kept his distance, more than a bit wary after whatever happened that night years before. Years passed, and he became close friends with Peter, and the two were often spotted hanging out together outside of work. One day, they stopped a young hooligan trying to take a joyride on his would-be stolen vehicle, but they took pity on the man, named Greg, eventually the three grew close, very close, close enough for Chris’ shell to break a bit and confess his feelings for both of them, while sobbing, which fairly rare for him. Luckily for him, the two felt similarly, and they’d been dating for a few months by the time they arrive on the ship.

Name: Thomas Johnson (alias "Jiko")

Age: 24 Terran years.

Race: Human, Genetically Altered

Physical Traits/Appearance: 5 feet, 7 inches tall, 189 pounds. A bit wide around the middle but healthy. He typically wears casual clothing like jeans and t-shirts, and has a black leather jacket that's just a bit too long in the arms, hiding his hands from view when he is holding his arms to his sides. His eyes are hazel with more green than brown, giving them a gold look in the right lighting. His hair is long, wavy, and brown, and he has a scar on his upper lip from a fight he had as a child. Jiko also has several surgery scars all over his body, from the Grid installation, and silver wires like veins all over his body (but not his head, feet, or hands). Additionally, his power cells glow blue when charged and blink red when empty.

Homeworld: G.R.A.H.A.M. Research Station "Alexander"

Genetic Tampering - Through genetic experimentation with alien and human DNA, Jiko is resistant to electrical energy (though not completely immune) and can channel it through his body with ease.

Bio-electric Sense: Jiko can feel the flow of electricity through his person and through machines via direct contact.

Electrokinesis: Through willpower (and instinct he can't quite explain), Jiko can control the flow of electricity through his body and from outside sources he comes in direct contact with.

The Grid - A system of wiring and power cells developed to enchance the abilities of those like Jiko and installed through surgical implantation. Has it's own set of pros and cons.

Power Cells - There are 7 power cells in the Grid and each is implanted in a specific place on Jiko's body – One on each forearm, one on each upper arm, one on each of his outer thighs, and one on the left side of his chest. This last power cell is more powerful than the others and more protected, as it is dangerously close to his heart and could cause problems if damaged. Because of this, there is a failsafe in place that keeps Jiko from accessing more than one power cell at a time.

Conduits - The wiring that connects all the cells on Jiko's body. They are just visible under his skin like silver, angular veins. These wires work to enhance Jiko's ability to absorb electrical energy, passing it on to his power cells.

The Jolts - What Jiko calls the condition that accompanies his use of the Grid. Causes shaking hands and muscle spasms. Can be treated using a Synth (basically, a nicotine supplement), though doing so makes them worse due to withdrawal if he doesn't have a Synth on him.

Military Capabilities (Currently Offline) - A subsystem of the Grid that has yet to be activated. Grants electromagnetic shielding and turns off the power cell failsafe.

Background: Thomas “Jiko” Johnson was born and raised on G.R.A.H.A.M. Research Station “Alexander,” which makes its home orbiting the only even partially livable planet in System JK 0-721-130. G.R.A.H.A.M. (Group for the Radical Advancement of Humanity And Machinery). The circumstances to his birth, including his mother and father, are unknown to him, and he was raised by the dedicated men and women of the station more as a subject than a child. Over the years Jiko learned to harness his own natural abilities until he was a young adult, when he was selected for the experimental Grid Program. With the Grid installed his abilities became even stronger, but at the price of some physical issues and the fact that he would be used as something of a living dynamo. Yet, knowing no other life aside from that of the Station, he willingly submitted himself to further tests and this new life until, eventually, he would escape with the help of another test subject through stowing away on an interstellar vessel. Unfortunately, this other subject was not able to escape with him – something that Jiko blames himself for. The next few years would see Jiko jumping from system to system, doing odd mechanical repair jobs and mostly keeping to himself while trying to keep his true identity secret. It was during this time that he began calling himself “Jiko,” as a reference to his home system (JK 0), and it was also during this time that he first heard that there was a bounty on his head. He was eventually captured by a bounty hunter, and is currently stuck in cryo-stasis.

Nah, long background/back-story is not important. If you want it to be something that develops more in the story, you could just add it later on as well.

  • Name: Michael Sitona; the reverse of Anotis which is the anagram of "the AdvaNce Organic Telemetry Infiltration Swarm".

  • Race: As far as anyone is currently aware Human but he is actually a Nanite-Swarm Bioroid...

    • Biology: Okay this is really complicated but in he is actually a collection of bio-synthetic robotics, similar to nanites that work in parallel to form a organic body. There are thousands of these robots running and sharing programs in parallel to organised themselves into and to replicate the internal and external structure of the ideal form they are attempting to take. The robots essentially form organic cells around themselves as they hide in a cells nucleus and can even replicate themselves as required for growth or repair. Currently the bio-nanites are replicating the form of a human and to pretty much all of observation, even most machinery it is near-impossible to tell the difference; though under close scrutiny like a DNA test it would reveal a unusual pattern that something was not quite right. Alternatively scanning normally unused low frequency radio waves with him in close proximity will show some odd results from the bio-nanite's signal and coordinate with each other; this would be unlikely to reveal the truth but would give a hint. Also sidenote: Without them active, Michael would end up dying very quickly, a mild side effect of his body not being used to repairing itself properly.

  • Appeared Age:note  Fourteen Terran years old.
    • Run-time Age:note  About Four Terran months old.

  • Homeworld: He doesn't know... The answer is hard to say as it depends, do you count it where he last rebooted or where he was originally created? The former is he woke up in a escape pod from the now destroyed Gemini IV military space-station. If it is the latter, well the elusive Varizite Mothership.note 

  • Physical Traits/Appearance: Michael stands currently at 5feet, 2inches / 157cm tall and weighs 110lbs / (50kg). His build is mostly undefined though the starts of a somewhat more muscular build is showing. His longish hair is a near silver in color with only in the correct lighting showing its blond shine, slightly curled the fringe is just long enough o sometimes cover his eyes. Meanwhile his rounded eyes are a deep hazel green. His face is lightly freckled but otherwise his skin is fine and unblemished with no scars or similar marks. He usually dresses in a black and green long-sleeved shirt, sometimes a greyish-brown jacket and around his neck unless in use would be a pair of green and black headphones. [1]

  • Occupation: None but does sometimes perform as an musician. He does also assist with science and communication sometimes due to his uncanny expertise with languages, ciphers and by relation computing but due to his age it isn't a official job.

  • Equipment/Tools: A communicator (essentially like a modern smart tablet), his headset, a guitar and keyboard. As well as of course essential amenities.

  • Powers/Abilities:
    • Universal Cipher: For reasons he is unaware of Michael can read, speak and understand essentially any language even if he has never experienced it before with only a few moments of exposure. He is also exceptionally skilled at encryption and decryption capable of both faster than most computer systems, finding patterns in language and numbers in just minutes and breaking ciphers on either quickly.
    • Organic recombination (Malfunctioning): The bio-nanites should be able to rewrite and rebuild their physical structure and over the process of a few seconds to several minutes shape-shift into another person, or even a different species with just a small sample of DNA. Due to a run-time error from damage the nanites currently cannot do such till their code is debugged... Sounds easy except Michael doesn't realise what he is. Even in this malfunctioning state this does greatly increase his physical healing so most injuries would heal in only a fifth of the time, if fully reactivated most injuries could likely be healed in only a few minutes.
    • Musical talent: Not really a power than a talent, but much like how he is intuitively good at decoding language, Michael is equally good at music. Understanding, reading, writing and playing it. He can take a instrument and learn to play it very quickly and of-course knows how to play the guitar and keyboard already with quite some skill.
    • There could be potentially more abilities and powers from the swarm but with it malfunctioning there is not even a chance of gaining those.
    • Piloting and ship management: Due to his work so far aboard the Troperia he has gained some, admit weak skill in piloting and in managing the various systems throughout the ship though comms is certainly his specialty.

  • Backstory
    • Built by a race of hyper-advance and elusive aliens, the Varizine. Tall humanoid like aliens with many extruding tentacles from their spinal cord. Little is generally known about them except for their technological skill and the fact they make their home on a huge moving space-station, known as their mothership somewhere deep in uncharted space. The Varizine rarely make contact with the rest of the galaxy and remain hidden in uncharted space, yet they do still interact. Anotis, a acronym for "the Adva Nce Organic Telemetry Infiltration Swarm" is the name for the swarms of super-advance nano-scale organic robots they released to analyse and watch over the other races, even if they still haven't worked it out yet. Capable of taking the form of whatever creature or species they choose making them intimidating infiltration units.
    • Though some means or another human scientists stumbled across a deactivated and frozen ball of these add robots known as Anoti (plural). After taking them to the Gemini IV Military Station they began to try and research this alien tech. They made exceptionally little progress till one day while still having virtually no understanding of the robots triggered their start-up sequence. While details are lost and irrelevant, between the attempt of the scientists to stop them and its attempts to escape the station's reactor detonated destroying it and all of its scientists and people. The only thing to escape was a damaged escape pod containing a series of damaged Anoti that over the next month of floating in the void began to repair each-other and build their next infiltration unit Michael.
      • Michael knows none of this. He simply remembers waking up badly injured aboard a escape pod floating through space with some of his stuff and eventually being picked up. Whenever he tries to think of anything else it is just a painful blur. After a lengthy process he is believed to be simply be the child of one of the stations residents and was somehow lucky enough to get to a escape pod in time and the blast that injured and knocked him cold caused him to lose all of his memories and just by sheer chance and the stasis equipment of the escape pod that he survived. At-least this is what he thinks is the truth and unless either the Varizine come to deactivate him, someone on the station somehow survived and finds him or he somehow realizes he is not quite human.note  This will likely remain this way for a very long time.

  • Race: Unknown, commonly refered to as Meteorritter
  • Physical Traits/Appearance: 11'3.5” Very Long, muscular limbs. 10 joints per limb. Darkgrey skin, complete red eyes with darkblue spots. No Hair except for a long ponytail extending from the base of his neck. No Body Hair.
  • Homeworld: Nearby Asteroid cluster
  • Occupation: Stowaway, thief
  • Equipment/Tools: 1 knife, 1 small energy pistol, 1 standard issue translation device (type scouter).
  • Powers/Abilities: Sneak, literally Sticky Fingers, Superhuman Dexterity, can actually survive in space, very low temperature difference to his surroundings, cold immunity (but can still be frozen), one eyed peripheral vision. Earth control, 2m³ of hammerspace, budding Terrormage.
Race:"Meteorritter": An intelligent species of unknown origin, they are known to shun civilisation, though they sometimes save the stranded. These creatures are generally long and dangly in build, with very dextrous limbs and sticky fingers. How these work in vacuum is still unknown. They are generally able to live in space between meteors, withstanding in the harsh environment through their apparrent lack of nourishment and immunity to radiation, coldness and the lack of pressure, though it has been observed that they do not malfunction if these are present or lacking. A curious part of their biology is their form of communication, which happen through closing their multiple pupils in quick succession. These pupils are not black like for humans, but, just like their irises, which studies have proven to cover the whole eye, vary from clan to clan in color. The nuber and position of those irises are individual to the individuum, though when closed they are nearly unnoticable. Their Body temperature has been observed to be nearly nonexistence, only being generated by movement. We would like to acquire more specimen but we lack the resources and do not risk angering these people.
  • Background: Unknown, due to his race being nearly impossible to distinguish. Whenever two of them meet, usually only their own species knows who is who after a short time.
