I binge-watched this entire show in, like, a month, so now I'm all caught up and THERE'S ONLY ONE EPISODE LEFT DAMMIT.
This last musical episode was awesome. I'm always impressed that the show manages to not only remember random bits from past episodes (the Emotion Jars!) but also make them essential to the plot (ingesting your emotions all makes them much stronger, so they overload the golems empathy). And then they make everyone sing, too, because this show loves to make people sing.
The only plot that they've forgotten about is what happened with the Library and the Visigoths. Is there any Library anymore? I know the Books of Everyone were burned, but the rest of the Library looked intact, plus those books are still being written (by the Alice-looking Cassandra), so presumably they can just replace them if they need to. And the Visigoths seemed to be set up to be a season villain, but they just seem forgotten about. (Perhaps they would have been the Season Six villains?)
Seriously, you all should watch this.
Marina having to do a musical number while wearing her best pissed off face is just a treasure.
