And sometimes you find something you're actually pretty great at.
Like. Adam Sandler is an obnoxious comedian, but he can do some genuinely touching and heartbreaking drama whenever he finds a breathing space in a film to put down the poop jokes and stop giggling about boobies.
Jim Carrey's had a hit or miss dramatic career, but films like Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and The Truman Show really sell the idea that the man can act.
Will Ferrell is Will F*cking Ferrell, but there's a heartbreaking sincerity to his surprise appearance in The LEGO Movie that makes up one half of why that movie is the greatest toy commercial ever filmed.
Comedians don't want to be typecast into always doing purely comedic stuff for their entire careers, and more to the point, they shouldn't be. Some of the greatest moments of their careers come when they put down the silly and play from the heart.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Damn. So I guess he's not coming back to the table after all. I thought Lani said he was.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.I guess this means Nail probably won't be speaking during Season 4 then. :(
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.TFS at the Table has returned, and as expected, Ben has left.
As for the story reasons to explain it: The team failed on their mission, leading to the destruction of the Ivory tower, and to the entire city being destroyed. The sky turns red, and demons flood though the land. Two months later, Wake is working hard to get a ship, dedicated to trying to find his friends. However, he kept being sent away, told to accept the facts. Now, tasked by Ziaka with saving this new world, Wake must find trustworthy companions to join him. Joining him is Grant, as a Myconid (Mushroom man) Warden named Chromagill, and Brian, who plays a human Spiritualist named Morgan.

So uh, does anyone have recap on last five chapters? I haven't really had time to follow show actively after Chapter 2's wendigo island stuff, and this soft reboot sounds like good time to start watching new episodes
The wiki has a synopsis of every episode.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!My Anime List did an interview with Kaiser, where he talked about how TFS came to be, their work, a bit on the Buu arc of DBZA (Kaiser said he's looking forward to Gohan and Videl), the Hells Dub and future projects.
The future projects part is interesting because he says that they're not doing any other abridging projects done by them besides Machinabridged and DBZA. That Taka's AWF project will finish filming in March and be released sometime this year. And they're doing some sort of live-action thing called "Unabridged." I assume it's something like those skits they used to do or something like The Office.
And they're trying to pull off something else that's like "abridging but not quite."
Burning love!...
Taka and Kirran have never been in the same place at the same time, have they?
Yes, they have. I've seen photographs of them standing together at cons, and they've occasionally played games on stream when Taka's in town. The way you can tell them apart is that their voices sound completely different.
Case in point for their distinctive vocals (and singing):

Burning love!Kai 3 out by end of March/Earl April (not my typo, literally in the video), Kai 4 since Season 3 was longer, then Bojack, merch, TFS at the Table (nothing new), Lvl Up Expo (Kirran, Grant and Tyler be attending)

Burning love!Kaiser Neko recently starred in Suicide Squad Abridged 2: Ticket to Heck, playing The Reverse-Flash. The people behind the series are a very talented group of abridgers responsible for the Young Justice Abridged series and its greater universe. Give the videos a shot if you're interested.
Grant is streaming his co-op sessions of Dark Souls II, and now Lani and Scott are playing Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice with Grant. Awesome.
Oh neat. Friday's stream is up.
Burning love!Man, I wish they had continued Anime FMK in some form, even if only covering a few pre-selected shows with good buzz. I would've loved to hear their thoughts on The Promised Neverland and Mob Psycho 100 season 2 (especially if Lani had stepped on to replace Ben, since I know Lani's a huge fan of ONE's work).
Speaking of, is Saturday Morning Sushi still a thing? Those were always neat, and I'm pretty sure Kaiser hinted at more last time an episode aired.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I agree on Anime FMK. I get that what they were doing was too much, but it's been replaced with nothing and I did enjoy the show.
Though it wouldn't have been the same without Ben reacting to the dumb anime bullshit.
Mega Man fanatic extraordinaireThe Whole Bento channel is basically redundant now, is my problem. I don't care to go back to it.
I think the way they covered My Hero Academia season 3 would've been a perfectly fine way to continue the series in a less stressful manner, and I wish that had become the default.
They do still sort of do it? They sat around as a group to talk about the Broly movie. I imagine it's just for big anime movies now though, not shows.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.Speaking of which, whay was that taken down? Toei must really want their heads.
Their Broly review was taken down?
Alright, that's news to me, but not surprising. Toei is not the first IP-holder to take down reviews of their works regardless of whether or not any actual copyrighted material was used, and they will not be the last.
IP-holders hate reviews of newly-released contest. If they could ban the practice, they would. They dream of a world where anyone who is even mildly interested in their official promos has to buy in to get anything more out of it.
There was a movement on YouTube some years back about changing their practices to make the system more fair to the network's content creators. It fizzled out ineffectually some time ago but, during its time, we got to hear a lot of the big names in YouTube content creation talking about the perpetual hassle that is the Content ID system.
Part of which includes the ability for IP-holders or even just random assholes claiming to be IP-holders to either monetize or take down a video and cry "copyrighted material" at any time, for any reason, and without having to prove anything. This can and has resulted in all manner of bad action, up to and including Content ID being used to silence reviews.

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.Maybe people should resurrect WTFU (Where's The Fair Use). It's not like things have actually gotten any better, if anything, they've gotten significantly worse with the adpocalypse. There'd still be a huge amount of people willing to try again.
